COOGEE UNITED JUNIORS FOOTBALL CLUB PO BOX 779 MAROUBRA, NSW 2035 ABN 37 340 345 645
March 2012 Dear Parents / Caregivers, Allow me to welcome you to Coogee United Junior football club 2012 season. My Name is Ralph Del Vecchio and I am the President of Coogee United Juniors. Our club is growing, we are not the biggest but we would like to think we are the most professional with plans to try to continue to do things just that little bit better than the other big clubs in the ESFA competition. Coogee United was established back in 2003 but only started registering junior teams in the ESFA competition in 2006, so we are only going into our 6th year. With almost 300 kids, our focus is trying to make the experience special for each player. Our committee is keen to ensure our members (whom are our players) are well looked after in all aspects of football and child development. Small Sided Games Program Our Club operates SSG (Small Sided Games) games for Girls & Boys together, ranging ĨƌŽŵ hŶĚĞƌ ϱ͛Ɛ to hϭϭ͛Ɛ ĂŶĚ ǁĞ ĂƌĞ ůƵĐŬLJ ƚŽ ŚĂǀĞ as our manager, Mr Andrew Brundu. Andrew͛Ɛ ƐŽŶ ŚĂƐ ďĞĞŶ playing for Coogee since he was 5 ĂŶĚ ŶŽǁ ŚĞ ƉůĂLJƐ ŝŶ ƚŚĞ hϭϮ͛Ɛ͘ Andrew has coached his son every year and I know he has enjoyed the journey thoroughly. This is our inaugural year launching the White Tiger SSG Program. This program, on a smaller scale, was a huge success in 2011. The introduction of the patch reward system, with 1000+ touches per training and animal characters jumping into the session, keeps the young ones wanting more. We intend to deliver more of the same in 2012.
The White Tiger philosophy is based on development of the children in a team sport, teaching communication and football skills, and at the same time, making football real fun. tĞ ŽĨĨĞƌ ŽƵƌ hϱ ƚŽ hϴ͛Ɛ ƉůĂLJĞƌ Ă ƵŶŝƋƵĞ ƌĞǁĂƌĚƐ ƐLJƐƚĞŵ ďĂƐĞĚ ŽŶ ƉůĂLJĞƌ ĚĞǀĞůŽƉŵĞŶƚ and participation.
