bullets!” Bullets will not hurt the superhero. He laughs at the tiny projectiles. He brushes them away as if they were flies. A crime fighter jumps from tower to rooftop in a display of awesome power. The blind bullets continue to rain down on the city. The city will devour itself and the shooting will continue. The towers and rooftops will crumble and fall. The soldiers’ weapons will malfunction and fail. Everyone will be slaughtered by the meaningless bullets. The crime-
fighting super heroes press on. They will not tire.”
