PROVIDES OUTSTANDING INITIAL TEACHER TRAINING Working with a consortium of over 40 schools in Newham and surrounding boroughs, we specialise in schoolbased primary teacher training, assisting over 50 people every year. We are small enough to offer high levels of individualised support to trainees and partnership schools, but large enough to provide a wealth of opportunities for training and employment in different settings. Trainees receive excellent training in inclusion which promotes high levels of expertise and confidence in working with pupils from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. We have twice been graded as Outstanding by OFSTED, who described us as providing ‘the best possible training’.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW BA (Hons) Primary & Early Years Education (with QTS) The BA (Hons) Primary & Early Years Education leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the academic award of an undergraduate degree in Primary & Early Years Education. The programme is currently validated by Birmingham City University. This course is a three year programme, which starts at the beginning of September and follows school term dates. It will offer a great opportunity to individuals who are driven to achieve an undergraduate university qualification, whilst also experiencing great levels of varied experience in top schools around the boroughs of East London.
Qualifications In order to be able to apply for this course, you must be able to satisfy the following conditions: - You have achieved GCSE Grade C/4 or higher (or equivalent) in 5 GCSEs. This must include English Language, Mathematics and Science. - 112 UCAS tariff points from A Level with a minimum of 2 A Levels.
