Come listen in the silence of the moment before rain comes down. There’s a deep sigh in the quiet of the forest and the tall tree’s crown. Now hold me. Will you take the time to hold me and embrace the chill? Or miss me. Will you take the time to miss me when the earth stands still? ‘Cause there’s no use running ‘Cause the storm’s still coming And you’ve been running for so many years. Come listen in the silence of the moment before shadows fall. Feel the tremor of your heartbeat matching heartbeat as we both dissolve. Now hold me. Will you take the time to hold me and embrace the chill? Or miss me. Will you take the time to miss me when the earth stands still? ‘Cause there’s no use running ‘Cause the storm’s still coming And you’ve been running for so many years. So stay with me, held in my arms. Like branches of a tree, they’ll shelter you for so many years. Stay with me.

I wish I was in Carrickfergus, if only for nights in Ballygrand. I would swim over the deepest ocean, for my love to find. But the sea is wide, and I can’t cross over. Nor have I the wings to fly! My childhood days bring back sad reflections, of happy times, spent long ago. My childhood friends and my own relations have all passed on now like falling snow. But I’ll spend my days in endless roaming, Soft is the grass, my life is free. Ah, to be back now in Carrickfergus, on that long road, down to the sea. I wish I was in Carrickfergus, if only for nights in Ballygrand, I would swim over the deepest ocean, for my love to find. But the sea is wide, and I can’t cross over. Nor have I the wings to fly! If I could find me a handsome boatman, to ferry me over, to my love and I.

Come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination. Take a look and you’ll see into your imagination. We’ll begin with a spin trav’ling in a world of my creation. What we’ll see will defy explanation. If you want to view paradise simply look around and view it. Anything you want to, do it. Want to change the world? There’s nothing to it. There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination. Living there you’ll be free if you truly wish to be.

To t he 2018 -2019 8 t h G raders,
Thank you for being everything that the leaders of a choir program should be. Thank you for teaching me patience and showing me kindness every single day. You are with us on this stage today in our minds and hearts as we perform. Your voices will forever echo in the CPMS Choir room. I was and still am constantly in awe of your hunger to learn and desire to grow and get better. I am SO proud of everything you are and everything you will be. I love you!
To t he 2019 -2020 Varsit y Treble Choirs, Hi chickens, Can you believe it? Every step that we have walked together this year has led us to this moment. You are more powerful than you will ever know. I am so proud of the people that you are. You are unapologetically yourselves: never ever change that. You have made me laugh on days when I really need it. You remind me of why I became a teacher in the first place. I am so honored that we got to walk hand in hand together on this journey. You have changed me for the better and you will affect how I am as a teacher for the rest of my life. Take up room. Be loud. Make mistakes. Forgive. Work hard. Be kind. I LOVE YOU. ~ Ms. Kasberg My sweet, sweet, sweets, It has been a joy and an honor to see your development as performers and musicians not only this year, but since your 6th grade years. You have all worked so hard and become such excellent people and I am so proud of you for everything you have done inside and outside the choir room. Thank you for hanging in there with me, growing with me, and learning with me. You have changed me more than you know. You are truly an inspiration and I love each and every one of you! Keep being kind and bold, while loving others well! ~ Ms. Graves
