DOWNTOWN LIFE

MOVIES WITH A DOWNTOWN VIEW

DOWNTOWN BUILDINGS GETTING LIT UP

Movies with a Downtown View is in the works for year three, co-produced by The Little Theatre and The Rochesteriat, and with other funders in the works. The events are FREE in the MLK Park, and the lawn opens at 6:00pm with the movie starting around 8:15pm. The films selected for this summer will be announced soon. Blankets and lawn chairs are advised. Come hungry and enjoy great food from food trucks and a beer station... or bring your own picnic!

We’ve all seen the Rundel Library at night with its changing colored lights, and the recent LED lighting of Tower280. Now the Times Square “Wings of Progress” lights up after dark like a beacon on the skyline. We’ve heard several more buildings are planning to add more dramatic lighting – stay tuned!

NEW FOOD TRUCKS COMING DOWNTOWN We're Thrilled to hear that five new food trucks are being introduced to downtown Rochester. Say hello to Midnight Smokin' BBQ, Hot Rosita's, Sweet Sammie Jane's, Meat the Press, and Roll'n Deep! Four existing trucks are adding a second truck so that they can be in two places at once. Bring your appetites!
