Q: What type of property makes the best buy-to-let investment?

A tenant is usually responsible for paying Council Tax, heating, water and electricity costs. Any maintenance/service charges and insurance costs would normally be paid by the landlord.

There isn’t any one type of property that makes a ‘best investment’. Individual requirements will determine which type of property should be considered, so why not get in touch today to discuss your requirements with us?

Q: Who can I speak with to find out more about buy-to-let mortgages?

Q: Can I manage my own buyto-let investment? Yes you can, however we encourage landlords to consider the implications of doing so and ensure they are aware of their legal and moral obligations. We offer varying service levels and will happily advise any landlord who may be unsure as to the level of service they require.

Q: Will I have to pay tax on my rental income? Yes, all income must be declared for tax purposes, however individual circumstances will determine the amount of tax you are liable to pay. For all tax related matters it is recommended that you seek independent financial (tax) advice.
