Paramore rocked Jingle Bell with their hit music, wonderful energy, amazing vocals and sound, and passionate performance. Hayley Williams took the stage as her own, putting her all into her performance and showing off her amazing talent.


To see Chiodos with Craig Owens is to see an incredible performance. Craig Owens has wonderful vocals live, and the rest of the band display a very high amount of energy full of jumps and crazy moves on stage that amaze the audience. They played old songs that were fan favorites and pleased the crowd of fans.


It Lies Within has made major improvements since they last came around to perform in Illinois. Their moves on stage are all amazingly in-sync and look well together, and their music has improved greatly. With a large change in the line-up, they've made a better band and truly started to make a name for themselves.


Fall Out Boy played multiple sold out tours this year – tours that sold out in minutes. Each time they came back, they amazed the audience with a wonderful performance after taking a long break from being a band. Their new music may be different than their old music, but it's impressive.


Upon A Burning Body never had a dull moment in the crowd during their intense set. The band put on an amazing stage performance that drove the crowd wild with pushing, moshing, and screaming along. Their vocals and sound were amazing and spot-on.


Panic! At The Disco put on a rocking performance at their sold out concert. With a mix of old and new songs, the crowd could relate to their music and sing along in excitement. They put on a performance that will be remembered years to come, and will continue to impress fans all over.



Opening with their hit single "Harlem,� new timers new Politics really set the mode for the evening, being the opening band at Jingle Ball. They were upbeat, fun, and energetic, with jumps and kicks of all kind. We're hoping to see more of them soon.


Being the only hip hop artists at the Jingle Bell concert, Travie McCoy pumped up the crowd and received an amazing reaction from his performance.


The Color Morale has recently blown up with recognition after their 2013 release of the album, “Know Hope.� The band is full of humble guys, good music, and hope. They are a band that truly cares for their fans, and goes out of their way to show it. They're hardcore, and a symbol of hope for fans everywhere. Their performance is always amazing and full of passion.


Bearcat, a solo indie artist, put on a very heartful performance with her amazing vocals and beautiful style. The crowd fell in love with her style and voice, and wonderful, wacky personality on stage. She's a person worth watching perform, and worth meeting with her down-to-earth personality.


With a four song set, bright lights, and constant outfit changes, pop singer Selena Gomez amazed the crowd with her beautiful voice and hit songs. She put on a wild performance for an active crowd, and managed to keep her amazing look on stage.


This Month's Spotlights SPOTLIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER: KAREN READY Karen Ready is a band photographer from Washington. Her name grew after a picture she took of Vic Fuentes and a fan spread like wild fire through the internet. She's had the opportunity to work with amazing bands like Whitechaper, Pierce The Veil, Hundreth, Sleeping With Sirens, and many more. She's worked for Rain City Ambience and also under her own name, doubling in people photography as well as bands.

SPOTLIGHT VENUE: HOUSE OF BLUES CHICAGO The House Of Blues is a venue that spreads nation wide, having different locations in large cities all over America. While I've only visited the Chicago venue, it's been my favorite venue. The environment is the first thing I noticed about the venue. It's a very elegant venue that hosts any concerts from gospel to metal. The set up is also very productive, with a large middle area, opera seats, and a bar off to the side. The stage is large, and the lights are amazing for a photographer.

SPOTLIGHT TOUR: SOUTH BY SO WHAT While South By So What?! Music Festival is not tour that travels, it is a highly incredible music festival in Grand Praire, Texas, that has been going on for years and getting bigger and better each year. What started out as a one day festival, soon became a two day festival, and is now a three day festival. The festival is full of bands ranging from pop punk to metal, with different genres filling up each day and taking place inside a ball park. They have some of the best musical acts coming from all around during their tours to stop by and play a day. The festival has music for everyone and is fun in general just to attend. The weather is perfect since it's always in spring and/or fall. People travel from all over just to attend the festival.


The Devil Wears Prada put on an incredible performance with an amazing stage presence and great effects. Their songs ranged from old to new, exciting the crowd that have been fans from the beginning, and the newer ones. They performed to a large, sold out crowd of rowdy young adults.



BRING ME THE HORIZON PUT ON an incredible performance. Vocalist Oli Sykes managed to keep up an amazing vocal performance while staying very active with the crowd of fans. Their clean vocalist sounded incredible live, and their entire performance sounded as well as their album. The band's fans proved to be too much for even security to handle, flying through the barricade at the orders of Oli Sykes, telling his fans to be closer to him. While fans weren't flying over the barricade, Oli was surfing over the fans and getting up close to them, screaming the lyrics with them. They opened up with their popular song, “Shadow Moses,� and the crowd started pushing everywhere the second the background music started playing. The band is currently embarking on the American Dream tour with Issues, Letlive., and Northlane. The tour's Chicago date sold out within the hour, and after being told to set up a second Chicago date, they did as asked, and sold out the second date within minutes. The band will also being playing Dallas' large event, South By So What in Texas on Saturday, March 15th.


Crown The Empire has put on an incredible performance every time they go on stage, whether it's a regular tour, or a massive festival. Their music is relatable for fans, and very catchy. The energy they display on stage is very high. There's never a dull moment when watching them perform live.
