Discovery Center Museum presents “Spooky Science”: ROCKFORD, IL. – For anyone looking for a fun, safe and not-too-scary Halloween celebration for youngsters, look no further. Discovery Center is hosting Spooky Science - the best party in Rockford for children - on Friday, October 27 from 6-9 p.m. Spooky Science invites families to come in costume and bring their Trick-or-Treat bag for this not-so-scary evening of spooktacular high-jinks. Brew gooey glowing slime, build Frankenstein’s monster, test a spider web’s strength, enjoy a live science demonstration, and delight in more Halloween activities, crafts and games. Take home stickers, tattoos, bouncy balls and other treats. It will be skele-tons of fun! Admission is $12 per person for the general public; $3 per person for members; free for all children ages 1 and younger. Admission includes all activities.
