Hello Darling! When I was a little girl, I was wedding obssessed! Every chance I could I would flip through the pages of bridal magazines in the grocery store and daydream of wearing a white gown and all the pretty that goes along with the wedding day. I would cut out photos that inspired me and save them in a notebook. Looking back now on the photos and styles from years ago, it’s definitely in today’s style that I can’t help but feel connected to the images that brought me so much joy from daydreaming when I can younger. It’s this feeling of excitement we hope to give to each and every person who flips through these pages of RMB Utah. No matter if you are little girl dreaming of your wedding day, or an engaged bride planning your forever, we want these pages to fill with you with joy and make you day dream! And most importly, we want these pages to help guide your love story - to find a place that touches your soul and makes you excited to spend forever with your one true love. My summers often included road trips along I80 to see family in Lehi and Southern Idaho. Crossing the Utah border was a highlight of the trip. It was simply breathtaking - the way the red rock canyons flirted with the open blue sky as a river rushed through it all. For the last two years I have had the divine privilege of exploring Utah in its entirety and creating closely within this community to bring authentic inspiration to modern couples. From the charm of downtown Park City to the serenity of the endless dessert in Moab, you have stolen a piece of my forever love, Utah. Meghan + Jake heber
Meghan and Jake’s relationships started out as friends- that is Facebook friends to be exact. A mutual friend told Jake that he just HAD to meet Meghan, so he friended her on Facebook in 2012 and the rest is history. One of Meghan and Jake’s first trips together as a couple was to Park City, Utah for Sundance Film Festival. This was an annual trip for Meghan’s family and she was eager to share the memories with Jake. Park City quickly became one of their happy places over the five years of dating as they both fell in love with the quaint town surrounded by mountains. On a sunny, Saturday in July, Jake proposed at North Pond which is their happy place in their hometown Chicago and a month later they were off to Park City to plan their dream wedding in their other happy place. They wanted a more intimate wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. The moment Meghan and Jake drove past the gates of Red Cliff Ranch, they knew they had found “their special spot.” It was an indescribable feeling of magic with the sun glimmering on the red cliffs as animals roamed the land and butterflies fluttered in the meadows. Throughout their relationship, Meghan and Jake connected on a deeper level as they both lost a parent at a young age and through those trying times learned to live in the moment and appreciate every moment together. They cultivated the love like their parents had set as an example for them. In that moment right there they knew this magical place was where they wanted to start their forever together, so they planned a destination wedding for August 18th!

park city dreams Rustic romance was the feel for Meghan and Jake’s wedding day. They wanted it to be natural and effortless, yet elegant Meghan chose white blooms, greenery, aspen wood and candlelight to create the ambiance so their guests felt like they were part of a dream, filled with the love the couple felt for each other! They also wanted a presence for Meghan’s late mom and Jake’s late dad through thoughtful touches throughout the day to make their love felt by everyone. From 150 custom dream catchers handmade by Kasey and team of Harvest Moon Events to dancing the night away as dueling piano band Howl At The Moon played, and all the moments in-between, Meghan and Jake’s wedding day was a dream come true!

husband and wife “One of my favorite moments was our ceremony. That is the moment we got married and I don’t think I have ever had a larger smile. We were and are beyond happy and excited to marry each other! I truly felt we were brought together for a reason in life and it was so special being surrounded by all of our friends and family. The band played “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé during the ceremony- I absolutely love the lyrics of the song. We danced under the arbor and took the time to look around at our family and friends and take in the breathtaking scenery. We loved taking a moment to take it all in and made a point to live in the moment on our wedding day.”
memories in the making “We had photos of both of our parents weddings and family picture which included my mom and Jake’s dad at a memory table by the ceremony. The table was decorated with my mom’s favorite flowers, yellow roses, and Jake’s dads favorite flowers, sunflowers. The chalk board sign had one of my favorite quotes ‘The best thing about memories is making them.’ It was a thoughtful, subtle touch to honor our parents’ and reflect on our memories together. The table included our guestbook which had a dream catcher on it and writing across the front that said ‘Dreams do come true.’ It was one of my favorite wedding details.”

I quickly came to learn that Culinary Crafts is the celebrity of catering in SLC area- they simply are the best. I was extremely lucky to have the founder Mary Crafts cater our wedding as one of the last weddings before she retired and on her birthday (8/18) nonetheless! Future couples do not need to worry though as Mary has passed the company on to her family to continue the excellence. Mary is an incredible person and even better public speaker as she presented a verbal menu to our guests. Our guests not only loved the food, they loved her too!�

Her mom arranged a play date between the two of them, and the girls quickly became best friends. Nikki always had a crush on Jeff and loved being around him growing up. However, it wasn’t until three years ago when their love sparked on a mutual family camping trip on the beach. By the time Nikki and Jeff became a couple they knew it meant forever. They dated for a year before Jeff popped the question at Disneyland. He arranged a surprise proposal with a caricature. The artist asked Nikki if she wanted to steal a peek before the piece was finished. She glanced at the canvas only to read, “Nikki, Will you Marry Me?” In complete shock, Nikki looked up to find Jeff one one knee in the middle of a cheering crowd. Through tears she said, “Yes!” They planned an eclectic and fun destination wedding for June 28th in Kamas, Utah.

pizza perfect “I know this sounds so silly, but our inspiration for the entire day started with Fiore Pizza Truck. We discovered the truck early on and just knew we had to have it! Luckily High Star Ranch allowed them on property. Not only was the pizza the best we ever had, but the rest of our celebration unfolded perfectly. Jeff and I ate wood fired pizza all night and the next morning. It was magical!”

“Our photographer snuck us away from our reception just before the sun set below the hills. At first Jeff and I were bummed to leave the party. By that time we were so ready just to relax and sit down as newlyweds. However, we had no idea what we were about to experience. The two of us hopped a fence into this beautiful open field with wild horses off in the distance. Once the shutter tripped, they became curious and trotted towards us. The most stunning white horse was almost drawn to me! It’s so special to look back at those images and remember that intimate, slow moment. In many ways the horses reflected our wedding day perfectly - surreal and wildly romantic.”

Kiki and Peter met though a mutual friend after college, while both living in Wisconsin. The two hit it off over a Brewers’ game and quickly became inseparable. From Madison to Milwaukee, the couple dated long distance for over a year and a half. Kiki and Peter eventually moved to Phoenix together so Kiki could start grad school. After her graduation ceremony, Peter asked Kiki to marry him in front of their families and closest friends. Tiffany and Allan met in high school. They frequented the same hall at lunchtime, and eventually built a close friendship. After graduation life took them seperate ways. However, two years later, when Tiffany was back home from school for break, they reconnected over a get together with friends. That evening Allan led Tiffany outside to his truck to “show off his new speakers” only to trick her into a kiss! Although Tiffany was completely taken back by the gesture, something special sparked between them. Another three years of travel, love and growing in-between, Tiffany and Allan finally became a couple. Allan asked Tiffany to be his wife on the shore of Utah lake as the moon hung in the sky above them. Of course, Tiffany said, “Yes!” They planned an intimate, Bohemian inspired wedding on Lake Powell for July 30th.

lakeside love Lake Powell has become a very special place to Tiffany and Allan. Not only did yearly, family getaways become tradition for Allan, but he took Tiffany there while they were dating. After their engagement, the couple just knew the Southern Utah lake would play host perfectly to their simple, beach wedding. Boating, sunshine and sleeping under the stars with their closest loved ones - the experience was everything they could have imagined and more.
sand ceremony Tiffany and Allan performed a sand ceremony at the altar. They individually collected and saved sand from special places to them to combine on their wedding day. At the base of the glass vase was a layer of white sand to represent the foundation of their relationship and commitment to God. Tiffany shared sand from Bear Lake, one of their first date locations. While Allan poured red sand from Lake Powell to represent his many precious memories as well as his mom’s love who passed a few years ago. It was the perfect symbol of both of their lives coming together as one.

roasted cider-brined chicken with herb gremolata Cider Brine ½ gallon organic cider 1 cup Kosher salt 5 sprigs fresh thyme 2 sprigs fresh rosemary 2 bay leaves Put all ingredients into a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Store in the refrigerator until completely chilled. Once chilled, submerge one whole organic chicken for 24 hours.
Roasting the Chicken Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Drain the chicken off the brine. Pat the chicken dry. Rub the chicken with extra virgin olive oil. Toss the tomatoes in olive oil, sea salt and cracked pepper. Add the tomatoes to the roasting vegetables for the last 10 minutes of the roasting process. Peel and dice cooked beets and add to the other vegetables.

tiramisu 6 egg yolks 3/4 cups sugar 2/3 cups half and half 1 Âź cups heavy cream 1 pound mascarpone 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/8 teaspoon allspice 3 tablespoon sweetened cocoa powder 1/4 cup espresso 2 teaspoon bourbon of choice 8 ounces lady fingers In a stainless steel saucepan whisk together yolk, sugar and half and half. Warm over medium heat until it starts to thicken. Pull from heat and cool to room temperature, whisking mixture every few minutes. Whip the cream to a soft peak. When egg mixture has cooled whisk in the mascarpone until smooth. Fold whipped cream into egg/mascarpone mixture. Brew Âź espresso and add bourbon. Lightly dip both sides of the ladyfingers in coffee blend, and line in a 9X9 inch dish. Top first layer with half the custard mixture. Line a second layer in the opposite direction. Top with remaining custard. Finish with cocoa, cover and refrigerate 4-6 hours.
