Reba and Teagan were best friends before they realized they had feelings for one another. Living just one block apart, they were destined to be high school sweethearts. After four years of dating, Teagan proposed at a beautifully decorated gazebo, filled with flowers and photos highlighting their journey together. As Reba approached, her friends began playing their favorite song as Teagan knelt down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. After tying the knot almost a year and a half later, the newlyweds enlisted Ashlyn French to capture romantic bridals with a twist of Western flair. They chose The Gardner Cattle Company for its rustic charm and picturesque longhorn cattle.
SHRUTI + NIKHIL
Nikhil, having just moved to the same city as Shruti, decided to make a move by messaging Shruti to wish her a happy birthday. This simple message led to the pair meeting up for drinks. You could say it was love at first sight. Shruti recalls, “Sparks flew! We laughed, shared stories and just clicked. It was one of those magical moments where you realize you’ve found something special.” Four years later, Nikhil planned the ultimate surprise proposal including flying in their family and friends from all over the country to help them celebrate the occasion.
To celebrate their new chapter as fiancés, Shruti and Nikhil traveled to Moab, a place they had long dreamed of visiting together. With its captivating red rocks and breathtaking landscapes, Moab was the perfect location to capture the magic of their love story. As they explored the majestic cliffs and soaked in the vibrant colors, they couldn’t help but feel like they were living in a fairytale.
High school sweethearts, Kaila and Jaxon met their freshman year during a track meet. However, the couple parted ways during college while Kaila studied abroad for two years and Jaxon worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. The two remained close friends and after returning to the states, the pair reconnected and began seeing one another again. It didn’t take long for Jaxon to realize he wanted to spend forever with Kaila. During a trip to Swan Valley, Idaho, the duo decided to go rafting with their puppy in tow. With the ring in his backpack, containing a diamond given to Kaila from her grandma and grandpa, the couple pulled into a cove to explore. Kaila decided to FaceTime her grandma to show her the scenery. Upon hanging up, Kaila discovered Jaxon down on one knee asking her to marry him. To commemorate their engagement, the couple enlisted Haley Nord Photography to capture their love at Jaxon’s dad’s house where they spent many days together growing up. With their horses, dog and cowboy boots, Haley took photos of the lovebirds in their natural element which would later be used to announce their upcoming wedding.

KAYLA + KEIFER
While Kayla and Keifer attended college together, their paths didn’t cross until after they had graduated. One magical December day, almost two years into their relationship, Keifer planned a fun day date for himself and Kayla in Park City. What started out as a bite to eat, turned into the winter wonderland proposal of Kayla’s dreams when Keifer got down on one knee with the historic Main Street covered in snow as the backdrop. Keifer even arranged one of Kayla’s favorite Utah photographers, Aubrie Jo Photography, to capture the moment followed by a darling couple’s session around town. Afterward, the newly engaged couple celebrated just the two of them before jetting off the following week to Kentucky to celebrate with family and friends.

JOSH + JUNIOR
As the saying goes, “When you know, you know!” And, that held true for Josh and Junior who fell in love in less than a year’s time. To pull off the surprise proposal, Josh reached out to photographer BayLenn Stout to set up a couple’s photo session. To lure Junior to the session, Josh mentioned his mom had a photographer friend who was just starting out and was offering great rates. Junior took the bait and the duo met up with BayLenn at Memorial Grove Park and Utah State Capitol for pictures. BayLenn and Josh had agreed on a signal for him to get down on one knee and when the time came, Josh shares, “I held his hands and told him that we had been dating for exactly 10 months, and that through all the adventures we had been through, I wanted to share the greatest one with him, for the rest of my life. And then I got down on my knee and asked if he would marry me in Spanish, his native language. He said, ‘Yes!’”
Bridal sessions are a cherished tradition in Utah, though they might not be as common in other states. These sessions involve taking photos in your wedding attire before or after the big day. Sometimes, they include both the bride and groom, while other times, it’s just the bride. Cailin of Sanz Studio Photos planned and styled this modern, editorial bridal session to showcase how to bring a couple’s love story to life. By focusing on the surroundings, which included colorful fall leaves and a mountain backdrop, the couple’s interactions became the focal point, beautifully captured by the camera lens.
“Don’t be afraid to do things differently. There truly are no rules when it comes to bridals, or weddings, and the most important aspect is making sure the photos and environment feel like you and your love.”
- Sanz Studio Photos
Bridals, if captured prior to your wedding day, serve as a wonderful rehearsal and allow you to be more present on your special day. It’s the perfect opportunity to get accustomed to walking in your dress, managing your veil and ensuring you can comfortably wear your shoes all day. This trial run allows you to make any necessary adjustments, guaranteeing everything from your accessories to your hairstyle is flawless for your wedding day. If any aspect of your gown doesn’t fit just right, this is the ideal time to schedule a final fitting or have the dress professionally cleaned and pressed to keep it in pristine condition. Additionally, this session gives you the chance to double-check your accessories; cleaning jewelry, trying different options or even deciding to change a few pieces before the big day. The unhurried pace of a bridal session allows your photographer to capture your beauty and love story in a relaxed setting, ensuring that every element is perfect. The final images can be displayed at your wedding reception, adding a personal touch to the evening.

time to feast
Creating a wedding reception that leaves a lasting impression is more than just curating a menu, it’s about crafting an immersive experience for your guests. The foundation of this vision lies in selecting a vendor team that understands and elevates your ideas. With a meticulous planner like Kaushay Ford of Kaushay & Co. Events leading the team, exquisite rentals from Diamond Event & Tent and the culinary artistry of Culinary Crafts, your dream reception will transform into a reality. The wow factor is in the details, and the right team ensures every element is executed flawlessly, creating a captivating atmosphere from start to finish.
divine drinks
Adding a personal touch to your reception can be as simple as introducing signature cocktails. Bacchus Bartending’s expert mixologists can craft unique drinks that reflect your personality and theme, offering a fun and memorable element for your guests. While choosing a venue with something special to talk about, like the breathtaking views at Kimball Terrace, not only provides perfect photo ops but also enhances the overall guest experience. Don’t forget the allure of passed hors d’oeuvres, which keep the ambiance lively and sophisticated as guests mingle and enjoy the evening.
darling details
A tablescape is an art form in itself, playing a crucial role in the overall aesthetic of your reception. One trend that’s making a big statement is the use of giant tables adorned with low floral arrangements. This setup not only creates a visually striking centerpiece but also encourages conversation to flow freely among guests. The table here showcases a harmonious blend of vibrant floral patterns, soft, elegant napkins and intricate place settings. Mixing textures, colors and prints adds depth and interest to the tablescape. From the detailed floral arrangements by Bumble and Blossom to the thoughtfully designed place settings, every element tells a story, inviting guests to be part of a carefully curated experience that goes beyond just a meal.
-Ryan Crafts, Culinary Crafts CEO
Highlight the couple. The food should reflect both their individual and their shared tastes. More importantly, certain dishes can recall and highlight their story and journey together.
Think seasonally. Better to have your second, or even third or fourth, favorite fruits and vegetables, if they’re in peak season and delicious than your most favorite options if they’re out of season and subpar.
Keep a balance. Take time at multiple stages during your planning to step back and look at your menu as a whole. Make sure you have a balance of different proteins; fish, beef, vegetarian, different sides; hot, cold, light, heavy, vegetables, starches, etc., different colors, different textures, different temperatures, etc. You may be in love with each element of your menu when you consider them each individually, but it’s possible that the menu is out of balance and you’ll not like the overall experience when you see it come together on the special day.
Skip the pre-selected choice of entree convention. This is an outdated tradition that needs to die. Don’t reduce your wonderfully crafted, both in flavors and in words, meal to the same beef, chicken, fish, or vegetarian checklist as every other wedding. Instead offer a single, thoughtful, and exciting menu to the entire dining room. Your meal feels more upscale. The service flows smoother. You can usually save money. You get rid of the extra clutter on your lovely invites and RSVP cards. There is no downside here!
Don’t forget those with special dietary restrictions. Even though I just encouraged you to abandon the pre-selected entree approach, this doesn’t mean you don’t give personal attention to your guest list and their needs. Be sure to identify allergies and special needs in advance so your caterer can smoothly accommodate them.
Think more about beverages. Especially for a seated meal, curated beverage pairings can really add a layer of sophistication, fun and indulgence. Don’t forget to treat the non-drinkers with as much consideration as the traditional imbibers - don’t relegate them to Diet Coke or raspberry lemonade, both of which tend to not play nice with food and they probably enjoyed at some other wedding recently. To really go the extra mile, consider a dessert beverage pairing, which I think is one of the most underappreciated and underutilized options that your guests will love.
Appreciate and leverage the real power of food and drink. Yes, food is fuel. And sure, the right food shot can get you some IG likes. Food can bring you excitement and pleasure. Beyond all of these though, at its most powerful food is a catalyst for connection. Food and drink for your guests will likely be one the largest investments you make in your wedding day. Once you’ve made that investment, don’t rush the meal. Allow plenty of time for you and your guests to enjoy your time around the table together.
dinner delicacies
When it comes to the menu, opting for a multi-course meal can turn dining into a delightful journey. Culinary Crafts excels at creating exquisite dishes that not only taste divine but also offer interactive elements to engage your guests. From a hands-on ceviche station to a flambé dessert presentation, incorporating interactive food stations can make the dining experience both entertaining and unforgettable. The focus is on quality and creativity, ensuring that every bite is a celebration of flavors, leaving a lasting impression on everyone. By combining the talents of exceptional vendors like these, your wedding reception becomes an extraordinary event, an immersive experience that your guests will remember for years to come.
Surrounded by the vibrant hues of Guardsman Pass, this styled shoot captures the serene beauty of fall, where the golden aspens stand tall, reflecting the season’s change. Terra Flora’s thoughtful design embraces the organic elegance of nature, weaving together textures and colors that embody the warmth and richness of autumn. The ceremony arch, a masterpiece of local florals, echoes the deep reds and soft creams of the landscape, creating a frame that blends seamlessly into the surrounding grove.
The bride wore a flowing gown from Taylar Made, mirroring the autumn winds, while holding a whimsical and wild bouquet featuring dahlias, Japanese anemones, delicate hydrangea buds and airy grasses. The tablescape is a beautiful blend of modern rustic aesthetics and minimal sophisticated design, creating a soft, romantic setting to intimately celebrate as newlyweds. Even with an intimate celebration, it’s important to hit pause and really soak in the moment. Sometimes, choosing to elope in a place like Guardsman Pass lets you fully embrace the beauty around you and the incredible significance of starting this next chapter.

hanyi & ricky
Hanyi and Ricky, who met during their grad school years at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, hosted an intimate wedding for 50 guests at Snowpine Lodge in Alta. With the help of Eventfully Sweet Events, they planned a day filled with elegance and refined style, featuring touches of gold and rose gold. Choosing a ski resort as their venue was a nod to their shared love for skiing, and the majestic mountain views provided the perfect backdrop for their vows, with hints of snow still covering the slopes. After a brief yet meaningful one-month engagement, they gathered their closest friends and family for a heartfelt ceremony where Ricky, overcome with emotion, shed tears before the vows. Hanyi made a stunning entrance in a sheath-style gown by Chosen by KYHA and completed her bridal look with classic pearl earrings and a necklace.
To ensure the evening was met with the same refined details, the reception tables were adorned with soft pink linens, white dishware, gold utensils and sleek menus. The Potted Pansy created stunning centerpieces featuring a lush mix of soft blush and cream-colored roses, all perfectly complemented by sprigs of eucalyptus. These floral arrangements echoed the various shades of the silk gowns worn by the bridal party, who kicked off the celebration with a lively entrance. Guests then enjoyed heartfelt toasts, followed by a romantic first dance to “Epilogue” from La La Land The night concluded with a scrumptious two-tiered cake by Flour and Flourish.

sarah & patrick
Sarah and Patrick’s love story began years ago during their college days. Following seven years of romance, Patrick got down on one knee to ask Sarah to be his wife on the sandy beaches of Malibu, California. However, with the help of Michelle Leo Events, the couple traded in the sunshine and sand to plan an autumn wedding weekend for I70 guests in Park City featuring unforgettable mountain views. The wedding weekend kicked off with a stylish rehearsal dinner at Riverhorse on Main, one of Park City’s most iconic dining spots. Sarah, a fashion-forward bride, made a statement in a vintage Pierre Cardin set adorned with intricate embroidery and lace. The ensemble, paired with cowboy boots and a hat, was her nod to the Western spirit and a charming way to incorporate something “old” into the festivities.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES

Argentina and Brazil! We worked with Inspirato to create a really special itinerary in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Iguazu Falls and Rio.
The St. Regis Deer Valley served as the perfect venue for Sarah and Patrick’s wedding day featuring an aesthetic that seamlessly blended the warmth of summer and the rich fall hues that were beginning to appear. With the majestic Wasatch Mountains as witness, Sarah made her way down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown with Patrick greeting her in a classic blue suit. The aisle was lined with luscious ranunculus, roses, zinnias, dahlias, fall foliage and more in hues that echoed transitional colors of the season.
After exchanging vows, she transitioned into a playful Zimmerman mini dress for the reception, effortlessly balancing sophistication with a touch of modern fun. The reception took place under a Timber Trac tent, where wooden beams and smilax-draped ceilings created an inviting, rustic ambiance. Mahogany farm tables and round tables adorned with elegant linens and a mix of oranges and dusty blues complemented the floral arrangements that lined the aisle earlier in the day. As the evening unfolded, the crowd danced the night away beneath rattan lanterns and twinkling string lights to the sounds of a live band and DJ before departing under a glitzy, sparkler exit as newlyweds!
While Caity and Bridger met in high school, they didn’t become an item until a few years later when Bridger decided to make the first move and take Caity out for dinner at the Promontory Club in Park City. With Bridger living in Texas, their relationship started off long distance. However, that didn’t hold back their love from growing. Two years later, Caity made the move to join Bridger in Texas so the couple could start their life together with their golden retriever. The following Christmas, in front of Caity’s parent’s home, Bridger got down on one knee and asked Caity to be his wife.
In a full circle moment, the newly engaged couple booked the Promontory Club for their timeless and elegant autumn wedding.
Caity and Bridger, with her sister serving as the officiant, said ‘I do’ on the club’s glass enclosed patio which features breathtaking views of Deer Valley’s Bald Mountain and sophisticated architecture. Wild Aura Floral crafted a stunning ground arch featuring a variety of white florals and greenery to ensure the view and couple were the focal point. Afterward, Caity, Bridger and their guests indulged in one of the best meals of their lives from Chef Ben at The Peak before dancing the night away to celebrate.

I would love to shout out our photographer, Ciaran. She made us feel so comfortable. We have never been the best at taking photos and often look awkward. Ciaran knew exactly how to prompt our poses to make us focus on each other instead of the camera. From the photos you can really see how naturally she was able to capture our love. We could not have asked for a better experience and we are so grateful Ciaran captured photos that will last a lifetime.
We would also love to shout out Chef Ben and his staff at Promontory. It was one of the best dinners we and a lot of our guests have had. The dinner was a big highlight of the night!

ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Plan your wedding around both you and your partner. It is easy to get lost in the planning process by trying to please others or include traditions you think you have to follow. Your wedding day is a day you will remember forever, so make sure you prioritize you and your partner to make sure you are both happy!”
Weddings Made Special In the Garden
A lush oasis in the foothills of Salt Lake City, Red Butte Garden offers unique venues to host the wedding of your dreams.
Ryann & Ryan
Ryann and Ryan, both students at Brigham Young University at the time, were introduced by mutual friends on a blind date. While their shared names initially sparked conversation, they soon realized they had much more in common, particularly their passion for the outdoors. After two years of dating, Ryan proposed to Ryann in a heartfelt moment with just the two of them. Eager to begin their lifelong journey together, they wasted no time in planning their dream wedding. In just five months, they orchestrated a timeless celebration for 105 guests, infused with vibrant pops of yellow and honoring Korean traditions. With their mutual love for skiing and the natural beauty of Sundance, choosing a wedding venue was an easy decision for the adventurous couple.
The couple opted for classic wedding looks. Ryan sported his favorite black suit while Ryann looked radiant in a NEWHITE wedding gown made from organza and crepe which she accessorized with drop pearl earrings from her grandmother and a delicate yellow bouquet. During the traditional Korean Pyebaek ceremony, they both wore custom–made attire from Korea. The couple wished to add personal touches throughout their wedding day. To achieve this, Ryann used her graphic design skills to curate the unique invitation suite and paper goods including a custom zine which served as a program and cherished artifact for their guests to keep. Lastly, they appointed Ryan’s father to officiate their wedding providing an additional sentimental touch to the day.

I was obsessed with all of our vendors- Haze Floral did our flowers, the arch!!!! and my bouquet!!, Lady Flour, Becca Shapiro, did the most beautiful and crazy delicious wedding cake for us; it was black sesame cake with lemon curd and vanilla Chantilly frosting. The cake was vintage looking with the custom ceramic cake-toppers that I made. Lily Ballif did our wedding video and captured footage of all the speeches and ceremony in a way that I felt really picky about, just very real and almost home-video feeling. Heather Smith was the wedding planner, and of course Izzy Hughes was the best wedding photographer.

Kaitlin & Will
Kaitlin and Will, like many modern-day couples, met on Hinge in August of 2020. After just two years of dating, Will planned a romantic proposal during a vacation in Sorrento, Italy, just before attending a friend’s wedding in Capri. Starting their day with a refreshing swim, they explored a picturesque monastery where Will, unusually interested in Kaitlin’s outfit that day, got down on one knee and proposed. His family, hidden throughout the monastery, captured the magical moment from different angles, making it a cherished memory. They celebrated their engagement with gelato and a boat ride along the stunning Amalfi Coast, marking the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
With the help of wedding planner, Ira & Lucy, Kaitlin and Will planned a wedding weekend that was a stunning fusion of elegance and rustic charm, perfectly themed “Cowboy Couture.” The festivities began with a vibrant welcome party at The Spur, where the couple embraced a full 70s vibe. Will sported a buckskin fringe jacket, Wrangler jeans and Tecovas boots, while Kaitlin wowed in a brown and cream Alemais skirt set inspired by cowboy boots, complete with a Stars and Stripes bag by Paco Rabanne, big hair and striking blue eyeshadow.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Remember that the best way to create a timeless wedding that you will always love, is to create a wedding that perfectly reflects the two of you as you are right now. What people consider to be ‘timeless’ at any given moment is, counter intuitively, usually what’s trending for that year. If you follow your own tastes, you're never going to look back on your wedding and think ‘oh that was so 2017!’ because it’s not, it’s totally you. And lastly, don't be afraid to take a risk! My friends thought I was totally crazy for wearing blue eye shadow to our welcome party but I loved it so much that my only regret is not wearing a bold color for the wedding ceremony too!”
The ceremony at The Lodge at Blue Sky was a blend of sophisticated fashion and meaningful personal touches. Kaitlin’s wedding ensemble, designed by Angela Kim, was a modular fashion statement that seamlessly transitioned from Parisian chic to Westworld elegance. She greeted Will underneath a chuppah adorned with autumn foliage, where they exchanged vows, beautifully blending cultural and personal traditions. The unique runway-style seating allowed guests to intimately experience the procession, enhancing the intimate feel of the event. Afterward, the reception dazzled with decor that paid homage to their engagement in Sorrento, Italy, and Kaitlin’s years in Hong Kong, featuring Italian chandeliers and giant paper flowers. The neon cowboy after-party was a highlight, with the couple in colorful Western attire and guests dancing the night away under pink lights.

VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND
Our wedding planner, Heidi with Ira & Lucy, made the entire process seamless!
Coincidentally, Megan and Logan’s love story began at a wedding, where Megan was a bridesmaid and Logan a groomsman. A shared glance sparked a connection that quickly blossomed into a whirlwind romance. Logan planned a fairytale inspired proposal by arranging a horseback ride through the stunning autumn landscape of Payson Canyon. As they reached a clearing, Megan discovered a banner decorated with pictures of their favorite moments and a tree carved with “Will you marry me?” Logan hopped off his horse, knelt down on one knee and Megan, overjoyed with emotion, said, “Yes!”
Drawn to Siempre’s breathtaking views from the top level, they planned a winter wedding celebration in Draper with the help of wedding planner Brooke Johnson. Megan shared a heartfelt moment with her father during a special dress reveal before he walked her down the aisle in a stunning, off-the-shoulder Galia Lahav gown. Reflecting on the moment, Megan shared, “I’m his only daughter and youngest child, and he’s been waiting a long time for me to find my person. This wedding was incredibly special for both of us, and I wanted to share a dress reveal with him. It was such a tender, emotional moment, we both cried and hugged and the photographer captured it all, which I will cherish forever.”

Highlight of the ceremony
“My favorite moment was at the beginning. Our officiant started the ceremony with a prayer. During the prayer, I opened my eyes to look at Logan, and he was already staring at me. We both smiled, put our heads together and quietly giggled. It was a calming moment for me and really helped soothe my nerves. The photographer captured that moment, and it’s one of my favorite photos from the whole day.”

VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND I couldn’t have done it without my childhood friend Brooke Johnson of Modern Event. She honestly was a godsend. I was living in Arizona while trying to plan a wedding in Utah and that in itself was a huge obstacle. She made everything so easy and seamless and I am super grateful to have worked with her.
Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury
Logan awaited her in a classic black suit with silk lining, trying to hold back his emotions. He recalled, “Seeing Megan walk down the aisle, standing at the altar looking at her, trying not to cry, that was the beginning of our lives together. It’s my favorite moment.” The day was a blend of magic and elegance, with snowflakes falling during the newlyweds’ portraits and twinkling lights illuminating the reception. The celebration was marked by unforgettable first dances and a lively photo booth, offering guests both entertainment and a keepsake to remember the evening.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“I think the biggest thing is learning each other’s love languages and communication. Dating long distance really forced us to communicate because the physical aspect of it wasn’t there. Relationships are not easy. But if both parties are willing to put in the work and earn forgiveness and unconditional love then you can get through almost anything.”

Taylor & Harrison
Taylor and Harrison first met at the University of Denver during Taylor’s sophomore year and Harrison’s junior year. At a lively house party hosted by the lacrosse team, Harrison, a player himself, couldn’t resist approaching Taylor to compliment her beauty, a moment that marked the start of their relationship. After nine years, Harrison was ready to pop the question. He proposed during a vacation in Santa Barbara, California, where he had planned a sunset bike ride to Butterfly Beach. With a photographer discreetly capturing the moment, Harrison led Taylor down to the water and proposed, creating a memory they would cherish forever. They went on to plan a laid back ski weekend in Deer Valley with the help of planner, Rachel Peterson with Canvas Events.

VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND
The weekend would not have been possible without the help of our wedding planner and she couldn’t have been a better fit for us!
Additionally, this had been a first time working with our photographer, Tippy Jordan, though I had been a long time fan. Tippy made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and she captured the day and the vibe perfectly. Cherisa, my makeup artist, who is so talented! I opted for a more natural look for myself and my bridesmaids and she and her assistant did a spectacular job on everyone!
“If we were to do things differently, we would have shortened the length of our engagement. We chose to wait a year or so before we started planning anything, and while this time was much needed given many other things we had going on, a shorter engagement would have given us less time to stress over everything.”
Taylor and Harrison’s wedding weekend kicked off with an après-ski welcome party, where Taylor sported a chic white ski suit amidst a festive, snowy backdrop. Friends and family gathered for a fun day on the slopes, followed by toasts to the soon-to-be newlyweds. The ceremony, held at the Goldener Hirsch, was a blend of elegance and intimacy. Taylor stunned in a Danielle Frankel gown, while Harrison looked sharp in a custom suit by Atelier Munro. To add personal touches, Taylor’s sister, Kenzie, officiated the ceremony, and the couple’s dog, Poppy, made a special appearance. To complement the overall vibe of the weekend, the festivities continued at High West Saloon in Old Town, Park City, where everyone enjoyed a casual evening without the formality of a seated dinner.
Combining rustic charm with personalized craftsmanship, Jon and Tracy Gossett of Fallen Sky Stone, a Western boutique in Tooele, brings a distinctive twist to wedding celebrations with their custom hat bar services. As Western weddings reach peak popularity, the hat bar not only offers a fun and fresh activity for guests but also provides them with a memorable keepsake, a custom-fitted hat that tells the story of the event. Perfect for welcome parties, receptions and cocktail hours, the hat bar adds a unique and interactive element to any wedding event.
The idea for the hat bar originated when a bride reached out to Jon last March with a unique request. She was planning a destination wedding at The St. Regis Deer Valley and wanted to include a hat bar at her rehearsal dinner or reception. She envisioned guests creating custom hats, even if it was just branding initials on them. Jon was excited to take on this uncharted territory and worked closely with the bride to plan her welcome party. They discussed hats, ribbon, feather choices and even had custom branding irons made for the occasion. The event was a huge success, marking the beginning of the Fallen Sky Stone Hat Bar.
What sets Fallen Sky Stone Hat Bar apart is the artistry involved in creating each hat. Guests can choose from a variety of materials, styles and embellishments, such as feathers, cards and custom branding, allowing them to personalize their new accessory. The hands-on experience of crafting their own hat, guided by expert artisans, makes this offering more than just a gift, it’s an interactive, creative journey that leaves a lasting impression.

NANCY & RON
Nancy and Ron’s love story began back in 1958 when they were just young teenagers. Over time, Ron, who often played sports with Nancy’s brother, discovered he had feelings for Nancy.
On Valentine’s Day in 1966, while they were watching TV on the floor, Ron proposed. They decided love couldn’t wait, and, just 19 days later, on March 4th, Nancy and Ron said, “I do!”
To celebrate 58 years of marriage, Nancy and Ron renewed their vows in a picturesque ceremony at Canyon Rim in Moab, a location they chose for its breathtaking views.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Probably the most important aspect of marriage is to establish and maintain good communication skills. Listen to each other, respect each other and forgive. Marriage is a journey and takes work. Make time for each other and laugh.”
