HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR READERS
We hope that you have all enjoyed a happy and restful Christmas holiday and are now refreshed, ready for the challenges of a new school year. We apologise for the delay in publication of this issue, set back by last term‟s OFSTED visit. This delay enables us to publish the outcome of our recent OFSTED inspection. We are delighted that the school has been judged to be ‘OUTSTANDING’. Last year only 17% of schools, nationally, were given this accolade and, needless to say, we are all very proud. The report is a credit to the school‟s hardworking and talented staff and the positive attitude, pride and sense of ownership of the school by the pupils. The full report may be accessed via the OFSTED link from our school area of our website: www.rodborough.surrey.sch.uk
