美創建有限公司為香港企業，其總部位於香港，生產基地位於 深圳市，由我方協作伙伴，深圳市龍西嘉林有限公司之廠房負責製 造、安裝和監督，以確保達到安全且優秀的生產品質。
2020年，深圳市龍西嘉林有限公司取得SGS發出的ISO:9001:2015

About Us Established for more than 40 years, Chun Fung Construction Limited provides a wide range of construction services for various residential and commercial projects in Hong Kong, Macau and the mainland. Their installation works and projects include aluminum panels, glass bars, glass curtain walls, clubhouses, residential lobbies, theatres and hospitals. Chun Fung has participated in some notable clubhouse and lift lobby projects such as Double Cove in Wu Kai Sha, Grand Promenade Grand Waterfront Plaza, The Gloucester, The Reach, The Hemispheres, Parker33, Wellesley, Emperor Cinemas, Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, Nathan Hill, Novum West, Alto Residences. With a great deal of experience and high-quality service, Chun Fung has a good reputation among its peers in industry. To keep up with new construction technologies and demonstrate the firm’s commitment to high-quality services and meeting customer expectations, Chun Fung established MeCheung Innovative Construction (MIC) Limited in September 2020, providing onestop services for modular integrated construction (MiC) method which includes design, construction, and installation. With its headquarters located in Hong Kong, production supported by Shenzhen Longxi Ka Lam Company Limited takes place in Shenzhen. Chun Fung’s partner is responsible for the manufacturing, installation and supervision of the plant, ensuring safe and excellent production quality. In 2020, Longxi Ka Lam obtained the certificate of SGS ISO: 9001:2015 (Provision of Design, Administrative Works and Manufacture of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) of Building Structures). Meanwhile, it also obtained the entry of MiC systems to the Buildings Department (BD)’s Lists of Pre-accepted MiC systems (steel). Chun Fung upholds the concept of innovation, environmental protection and aesthetics, and continues to provide customers with high-quality, safe, reliable and innovative construction solutions.

■■ 是指將預製組件廠房生產的獨立組裝合成組件，組件早已完 成飾面、裝置及配件的組裝工序，再運送至工地，再裝嵌成為 建築物
■■ 三種常見的 MiC方式：鋼筋混凝土組件、鋼製組件及混合物料 式組件。項目或包括單個組件或多種組件的組合可涵蓋單一
立體組件，或組成一層標準樓層及一幢建築物的多個組件，包 括相關標準結構及連接細節
香港的發展
■■ 設計須符合《建築物條例》及其他有關規定，例如《認可人士、 註冊結構工程師及註冊岩土工程師作業備考》及程序
■■ 為了促進私人樓宇使用，項目採取屋宇署已設立預先認可機
制，原則上預先認可「組裝合成」建築法，預早處理設計及建造 事宜，以及簡單評估設計和所用物料是否符合《建築物條例》 條文所訂的最低標準
■■ 除屋宇署外，機電工程署亦致力制訂及更新相關的建築物內 安裝及供應電氣及氣體裝置指引，即《電力條例》 、 《氣體安全 條例》及《能源效益(產品標籤)條例》

What is MiC? THE ROLE OF MIC WHEN SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS BECOME A TREND LEAD ■■ People feel amazed that those quarantine centres/camps could be established in such a short period of time during the fifth wave of pandemic. Thanks to modular integrated construction (MiC), it enables the construction of a large number of quarantine units within a very short period of time in a safe manner ■■ MiC has been widely applicable to various projects safely
BACKGROUND ■■ MiC as a new concept emerged due to the collaboration between the Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Development (CICID) of The University of Hong Kong and the Development Bureau (DEVB) of the HKSAR Government. Encouraged by the government since 2017, many notable projects were finished, namely InnoCell in Hong Kong Science Park, public housing in Tung Chung, quarantine camps across Hong Kong
DEFINITION OF MiC ■■ An innovative construction method that allows the building is substantially completed off-site ■■ Refer to a construction that free-standing integrated modules completed with finishes, fixtures and fittings are manufactured in a prefabrication factory and then transported to site for installation in a building ■■ 3 common types of MiC: reinforced concrete modules, steel frame modules and hybrid modules. Projects may cover a single volumetric module or a combination of various modules to form building blocks including the associated standard structural and connection details
THE DEVELOPMENT IN HONG KONG ■■ The design needs to comply with the Buildings Ordinance and/or other relevant requirements for example PNAP ADV-36 and procedures ■■ In order to facilitate the use of MiC in local building developments, the Building Department has set up a preacceptance mechanism, aiming to resolve the design and construction matters of MiC system, and assess whether the design and materials used meet the minimum standards set out under the provisions of the Building Department
■■ Apart from BD, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) is committed to facilitating the implementation of the MiC method in Hong Kong. It has prepared and updated relevant guidance notes on electrical and gas installations and supply of electrical and gas appliances, namely Electricity Ordinance, Gas Safety Ordinance and Energy Efficiency (Labeling of Products) Ordinance in buildings which adopt MiC method ■■ MeCheung Innovative Construction Limited is a qualified contractor to engage MiC services in Hong Kong
