KEY OBSERVATIONS:

ACTIONS:

• April continued The Forge’s successful 2020 eclipsing the statistics for March. 3697 users hit the site compared to 3167 in March.

• TBA

• Despite improved visitation, the session duration metric settled back down to be 2min 37sec for April. • 55.6% of users accessed the site via a desktop or laptop, this result is most likely due to the COVID-19 isolation scenario. • Furthermore, the ‘Not Set’ DRN locality metric fell to 8th in the ‘city’ rankings highlighting that more users than ever are accessing the site via an open system and browser (to the overall benefit of The Forge). • Canberra took top spot in the city rankings displacing Sydney. • Internationally, Pakistan jumped into the Top 10 for the first time of countries accessing the site. • For the second month in a row, four (4) articles were published to The Forge resultant of improved governance around submission tracking and editing. • Lyndsay Freeman’s article Understanding the Women, Peace and Security Agenda - garnered 366 views in April making it the single most viewed author submission since November 2019.
