This project was designing the interior of a hotel room. The concept of the hotel room developed with maximizing or adding new space and minimizing or subtracting the clutter in the room which is often the case with compact spaces. The spaces had been divided into modular grid; out of which objects were either added or subtracted; such as openings which were subtracted or extra storage space which was added. The aim of this sort of design was to make the space as airy and open as possible.

ANTHROPOLOGY AND ERGONOMICS STUDY

This project explores the urban setting of Kuala Terengganu and how it can be enhanced. Upon 4 days analysis, it was found out that Terengganu has the longest coast among other states of Malaysia but is barely used by the people because its hid behind the shop lots and is inessible due to trafďŹ c. Hence, it was enhanced by the nodes the historic walk explaining the history of city to its people and creating urban intervention elements.

1:20 PHYSICAL MODEL OF THE PAVILLION

The Bilgi student bridge lies next to nearly clogging Halic river. It provides an access to the other part of the river over the Halic which was otherwise a long route. The building adopts its shade from the adulating scape of the site and sorounding and continues into the bridge to the eastern part of the site. As part of the renovated campus of Bilgi University, the student center uses similar materials and form to provide consistency and it holds it together. The green bridge provides a nice ambiance and an efficeint watch bridge to not just cross, but walk around hang out and have a whole experience of its own.

The concept of the hotel is derieved from people, culture and economy of Kuala Terengganu. Tourism is the most booming industry of terengganu and it is because of the natural landscape surrounding it and not the city itself. Among others which stood out the most is the beautiful dense forest of Terengganu and its beaches. The hexagonal shape provides the nature’s most repititive dense form and the adulating heights gives a sense of living in a tree.
