It is a conceptional project located in the heart of Istanbul - Istiklal Street. The brief aimed to design an agency facility that connects funds, angel investors, local authorities, start-ups, idea-developers, artists and most importantly citizens, in Istiklal Street, Ä°stanbul. Based on the analyses on place and local and global issues, the concept of the intention of the agency that turns the current local and global challenges into sustainable opportunities for Europe and Turkey was defined. The success of the proposal is related with how this agency foster new perspectives in local and global way and improve new economic, social, spatial and cultural collaborations.

DESIGN INTENTION My design intention was making sure that there was an ease of passage from both side of the streets; making it not only a mundane crossing path but rather a stimulating exhibition and square. T h e p a s s a g e u t i l i z e s a l l fi v e senses of a person; making it a sensory experience. T h e e x h i b i t i o n u s e s t h e fe e l i n g of touch and sight, the inner c o u r t y a r d i s u s e d fo r m u s i c a l p e r fo r m a n c e s hence stimulating the sense of h e a r i n g a n d t h e c a fĂŠ g a r d e n invites to the smell and taste of Istanbul. The ground floor is intentionally used to bring people together and create a sort of mini square where people can rest after walking through the istiklal caddesi. The main intention of the square was to create a space f o r s t r e e t a r t i s t s b e i t g r a ff i t i , m u s i c a l t h e a t e r o r v a r i o u s fo r m of street art and to institutionalizing the ever so irregular uncertain nature of street arts. My development agency provided the street artists with institutional recognition while at the same time keeping connected to its core, that is streets.

2.0 BUSINESS INN COMPACT HOTEL ROOM
Role: Concept formation, ergonomic study, rendering Professor: Aty Rosemary FALL 2018 The project required designing a compact hotel room in dense urban center of Kuala Lampur. I derieved my concept of the hotel room by maximizing or adding new space and minimizing or subtracting the clutter which is often the case with compact spaces. The spaces had been divided into modular grid; out of which objects were either added or subtracted; to keep it as compact as possible. Such that openings which were subtracted or extra storage space which were added. The aim of this sort of design was to make the space as airy and open as possible. The material used for the addition of space was dominantly wood; which refers to historical ties of Terengganu and its wood craft industry while the openings were predominantly glass.

3.0 TH E DEPARTU RE
Role: Indivisual project Professor: Mehmet Goren SPRING 2020
The departure is a parametric design project used as a bus station in the city of Istanbul. The location lies very close to Sabiha Gokchen airport in Istanbul and hence the concept of my design. The development of idea started from birds and its movements right before flight. The program used for this project is mainly grasshopper and Ladybug. The middle steel arc acts as a structural element and holds most of its weight while the waffle wing structure are made from light weight wood.

Role: Designing, model making, sketches Professor: Aty Rosemary FALL 2018
This project explores the urban setting of Kuala Terengganu and how it can be enhanced using a model of spacial intervention. Terengganu has a 40km long, mostly reclaimmed coast line which is currently used as a car parking space or dumping ground. Hence, this project reclaims the waterfront activities and makes it more pedistrian friendly. The connection to the city center was kept a priority and providing facilities for public through historical reminsce of the city. Sustainability of the public pavillios were kept in mind and a big celebatory node was created bringing people from all part of city together, making the pieces of the intervention as a whole.
