Head out on safari with experienced park rangers in open vehicles and spend time tracking elusive tigers. This famous national park is the best place to spot wild tigers in Rajasthan and is one of the best locations in India to see the majestic predators in its natural habitat. The tigers can be easily spotted even during the day, busy hunting and taking care of their young ones. The park is made up of 1334 sq km of wild jungle scrub hemmed in by rocky ridges, and at its centre, is the 10th century Ranthambhore Fort. Scattered around the fort are ancient temples and mosques, hunting pavilions, crocodile-filled lakes and vine-covered chhatris.
