EDUCATION means: A top-ranked academic program featuring individualized attention from award-winning faculty and staff. A picturesque lakeside environment with weather that is so consistently beautiful, classes are often held outdoors. Access to some of the world’s preeminent thought leaders, Nobel Prize winners, poets laureate, activists and artists who we routinely bring to campus for dialogue and discussion.

While you can certainly discern a lot about Rollins by reading about us online and in brochures like this, to really get to know Rollins, you will have to visit campus.

COME SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT.

COME

ONE...

Individual visits can be planned through the Office of Admission. Information sessions are available every weekday and on occasional Saturdays. DURING YOUR VISIT: Meet with students and professors to discuss academics and extracurricular activities. Tour our classrooms, labs, residence halls, theater, athletic facilities and library. Dine with students in the Cornell Campus Center and enjoy grilled salmon, braised beef short ribs or hand-rolled sushi (you can’t really order wrong at one of the top 50 most delicious college campuses in America, according to TheDailyMeal). Sit in on the class of your choosing (two weeks advance notice required).

...or  COME ALL. Twice each fall, we host “Discover Rollins” days designed specifically for prospective students and their families. These open houses will allow you to get to know Rollins in a group setting where you will: Learn about the admission and financial aid processes, including opportunities for merit scholarships. Meet with faculty, admission counselors and students. Tour campus. Dine with both current and prospective students.

THIS  LOOKS

EVEN BETTER IN

PERSON.

We are located in Winter Park, Florida, on 70 acres of lakelush greenery. Your campus tour will include views of our Mediterranean architecture, Spanish moss-covered walkways and beautiful Lake Virginia, not to mention the breezes that come with it. You will be within walking distance of the many shops, restaurants and galleries on Park Avenue and within driving distance of all the cultural opportunities that a major metropolitan city like Orlando affords.

STOP IN AND SEE OUR SCIENCE CENTER The Bush Science Center contains 38 teaching and research laboratories, an observatory and a separate twostory psychology wing that features a sleep lab. The building itself is trimmed in travertine marble, which 5 is the same stone that was used to build the Colosseum in Rome.

CAMPUS.

BRILLIANT FACULTY.

During your individual visit to campus, you will have the option of sitting in on the class of your choice. And with a faculty that’s been ranked 8th best in the country by RateMyProfessors, you might have a hard time choosing. Whether you observe physics with Professor Thom Moore, a history course led by Associate Professor Julian Chambliss or genre fiction with Associate Professor Dorothy Mays, you will have landed in the classroom of an award-winning expert and will be sure to learn something new. You will also get a sense for how passionate our faculty is about teaching, how closely they work with their pupils and how invested they are in student success.

SEE WHERE YOU’LL LIVE. More than 70% of our students choose to live on campus in one of our 17 residential facilities, which include apartments, sorority and fraternity houses and traditional residence halls. Living Learning Communities (also called LLCs) bring first-year students together with upper-class mentors as they pursue common academic interests in a shared living and learning space. Many of these facilities feature views of the lake, outdoor volleyball courts and quiet study spaces. One of them even hosts a residentsonly lagoon-style pool.
