Implantation Having established the bridge, the objective is to understand what could be the program of the research center in the middle of the public space.
To assess which kind of researchers are active within the center, it was necessary to define which study fields have to be innovated during chaos. Thus, a diagram on urban planning and diverse interrelated study fields was created.

As the main difficulty was related to the unique, zenithal, light source, the centrality of the project became basic. This staggered building, inspired by rice fields and having a carved façade, allows harmony with the sunlight all day long as well as a multiplication of the enlightenment surface.

SMCC San Marino Civic Center
SMCC is an international contest of ideas for the revitalization of Mount Titano located in San Marino.
The republic is isolated in the heart of Italy and protected by the UNESCO.
Special attention was thus required for the symbolic importance of the site.

The civic center of San Marino is a project which is defined in a sectional view.
Indeed, the section incorporates on the vertical plane an authentic cliff in front of a beautiful view and whose area of holding is currently a parking lot.
The idea is to create a reconnection by gigantic steps between the panoramic viewpoint and the rock. These steps will be crowned by a botanical garden attached to the cliff. To emphasize the dreamlike quality of the place, the stairs will be covered and dominated by stone blocks extruded from the cliff, as sculptures both solid and ethereal at the top of the steps.

RVCP Restoration of the Visconti-Castelli’s Palace
RVCP is a restoration project of a seventeenth century palace that belonged successively to two renowned Italian families.
This building is located in Canegrate, a small town about twenty kilometers from the center of Milan.
Canegrate was once the hot-spot of the Milan bourgeoisie, but it became gradually depopulated and impoverished.

The most important element of the restoration is the vault located on the first floor between the two wings of the palace.
Therefore, we made an analysis of the structural conditions and a thorough study of the superficial damage through an assumption of the materials which originally composed the vaults.

Project for a new entrance
As the project aims a revival of the palace and its environment, we proposed an action that linked both, the enhancement of local artisanal and a strong brand image.
It is an exhibition area around a new head office of the famous Italian shoemaker «Fratelli Rossetti,” who was not yet present in the Emilia -Romagna.
APAE Analysis of a Post-Apocalyptic Europe
APAE - Analysis of a Post- Apocalyptic Europe - is a planning study for the creation of a system to decrypt the urban entities and their relationships. In a climate of rising sea levels, this research project is divided in two parties. It aims on the one hand a description of the area and on the other hand a critical view on contemporary European cities.

PROGRAM System
For this project, in order to establish a study area and an imaginary environment for an openness to create, the possibility of a 60 meter sea level rise was chosen, equivalent to the total melting of the ice cap. As a consequence, a large transboundary line of coastal territory should be restructured and the creation of an adaptable system for each zone will be needed.

Advantages of the floating cell
For this study, the question of a framework made of floating platforms was discussed as the basis of a study for the reinterpretation of the urban fabric.
In fact, it offers the possibility of a superposition of a new, standardized and reorganized urban typology above the destroyed areas.

After analyzing the various urban, components included in the legend, by averaging, a reorganization of the activities on a new floating frame can be made in all rationality.

Matrix analysis of different scales
Example of implemented urban functions At a more architectural scale, to determine the size of the platforms, a study of various urban typologies in different situations was conducted. This study allows determining an average to assess the surface area suitable to reconstruct each of the urban morphologies on the new urban fabric.

HLBC Have a Look Behind the Curtain
The last part of this portfolio, HLBC, presents in two parts the other elements of my universe. Photography and sketches, two tools that, in my opinion, are more than an integral part in the practice of architecture, an essential tool of expression.
