Regina’s Best Liquor Stores ryandillard786.weebly.com /blog/reginas-best-liquor-stores
Liquor stores are generally pretty basic, they offer the same products, their store layout is similar so overall your shopping experience never changes. We are in liquor stores and offsales daily shopping for our customer’s liquor delivery orders and we have found 5 liquor stores and offsales in Regina that really stand out and offer a unique shopping experience.
1. Sobeys Liquor Store Sobeys Liquor Store is unique because it is one of the first private liquor stores opened in Regina. This means that the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming (SLGA) doesn’t regulate what needs to be in the store. Sobeys takes full advantage of this by offering very unique products that us Saskatchewanians generally could only get in our neighbouring provinces that have private liquor stores such as Alberta. Sobeys encourages customers to try these new products by always offering samples. Sobeys also supports local breweries by offering growler refills in store. Have you ever brought home wine that just didn’t satisfy your tastebuds? At Sobeys liquor this isn’t an issue due to their wine tasting bar where you can try before you buy.
2. Willow Park Wines & Spirits Liquor Store Willow Park Liquor store in Harbour Landing like Sobeys Liquor is also a private liquor store and that doesn’t have to follow the SLGA’s store regulations therefore they can stock new and exciting products. Willow Park is viewed as a “entrepreneurial success story” due to their Trusted Expert system. They not only offer their customers a huge product selection they also educate their customers and ensure their products are 1/2
sold at fair prices. They built this into their business model because they are passionate about being responsible and being a caring corporation in every community they operate in. Willow Park has created an endowment trust managed by the Calgary Foundation called the Vintage Fund. They use this fund to take part in community projects. One of their major community successes include building Willow Park on the Bow which is a senior carefree living facility for 150 seniors built in 2010.
3. Victoria East Liquor Store SLGA Likely seen as the busiest liquor store in Regina due to it’s location being right behind Costco. Victoria East liquor store is provincially regulated for products. This store is huge and has a HUGE selection of wines, rums, beer, vodkas and coolers. The friendly staff are always eager to give out frequent samples of new products that the SLGA has brought in. The SLGA has been very supportive of local breweries and wineries by including them in their range of products you can find brands from The Farmery to Last Mountain Distillery products. Victoria East also offers growlers refills, all you have to do is bring in your empty growler and they will happily fill it. This is the most dependable liquor store in Regina for product selection. For liquor delivery Regina we recommend all three of these fantastic liquor stores! Lets us know what you need for your liquor delivery!
