Hello We are designers Nata and Keti, born in Tbilisi, Georgia in Spring , 1981. Studied together at Tbilisi Academy of Arts on Interior Design faculty. After the graduation we founded a company Rooms. We live in Tbilisi, have a nice studio and work on lots of local interior and product design projects. We are proud to be the first Georgian designers, whose work was also presented at the international exhibitions and at Moooi showroom, as they decided to produce our Position lamp. Though we are completly busy with our interior projects: like hotels, restaurants shops, and private apartments, our successes on the international market motivated and challenged us to be part of an international design industry . We started to use our products in our own projects, international exhibitions helped us with good press and sales. The first product was The Dressed Chair in 2007, which is still topical and demanded product. As we are from the country, where we had to live in different eras: Soviet childhood and the era of changes, passion for independence and development, mix of Asian and European cultures, one can feel an influence on our design ideas. ... And then our profession started to exist, which is inspiring our life. At last and at least we would like to introduce you with our products that were manufactured locally in Tbilisi, also included here some of the sketches of the ideas for our new products prototypes. We agree that design is about a good idea. .. Our products are part of us. We give them a special mood, function and the lady’’s touch. Thank You
Rooms Hotel 2012 Kazbegi (Caucasus Mountains) Georgia The mountainous environment and the existing structure of a former tourist center from soviet times were considered when creating the mood of the hotel exterior and interior design. The wooden facade,balconies and room dividers built of metal create vertical and horizontal lines, giving the entire building a natural, easy geometric Kazbegi mountains, one can feel the calmness everywhere. The use of natural materials like old oak boards create “mountain hotel� style, guests feel themselves immediately at home. The ambiance of the lobby is cozy and friendly , with a considerable degree of luxury. The sense of intimacy and relaxation creates the concept of the library, comfortable leather armchairs, linen sofas combined with the elements of industrial design and the chandeliers with candle lights.Bookshelves divide the space and create comfortable zones with the privacy encountered in a living room.
11/11 2012 Restaurant with the “New American” kitchen. The brief was to create a modern design with classical retro accents that would amplify the drama of the history in the best spirit of the vintage design as the time goes by. As the space is located in the old part of Tbilisi, we were enhanced with the existing area “Sololaki” and the building itself. We wanted to create an atmospheric and inviting place, space were one can feel our nostalgic feelings of old times. Therefore we used natural old wood, vintage style design furniture, lighting and some accessories The concept of the restaurant was created by the subconscious images leaves our memories. Images of old objects, furniture, entrances and the spirit of a “strict interiors “ appeared very interesting and attractive to us now. We added eclectic, glamorous touch, mixed European and Asian attitude and interior turned into a warm and a welcoming place.
Holiday Inn Tbilisi 2010 Tbilisi Georgia The building was built in Soviet period (1974). In 2010 Rooms designed a new concept for the interior of The Holiday Inn Tbilisi. usual Holiday Inn hotel chain, Task was to create comfortable, stylish and high quality space – in the project were used furniture and lightings by famous brands. Rooms made a concept for the pool garden also. There are some playful details in the design – for example Rooms lightened columns in the hotel by using lighted numbers on them, like marking the meeting points in the hotel - “lets meet at column 8 “
Grato 2012 Tbilisi, Georgia Comme De Garsons women’s wear space for department store Grato . The aim was to challenge the way fashion items and accessories are displayed and the same time keep the style, which Comme de Garsons brand carries. Rooms used geometric shapes in the concept, Hexagon lighting on the ceiling combines with Rooms custom made Blossom rug

in glass containers and containers like cage. Most elements where custom designed for the project.
Iveria Launge Bar 2011 Radisson Blu Batumi, Georgia
Taking into consideration Batumi seaside landscape, Rooms design solution was to make a delicate and light interior. During Daytime cafĂŠ is light blue, while night by changing its color, space transforms into a comfortable and cozy lounge bar. Task was to have a projection on the wall, which required a plane, white wall. Hence Rooms invented portable metal net walls with lights aside,that partially covered that white wall and gave the space much wormer atmosphere.
Cloud 9 2011 Cafe/Restaurant Cloud 9 is located in the seaside town Batumi in Georgia. Architectural part of the project, which includes the unusual outside belongs to J.Mayer H. Rooms created interior design concept for this space. Inspiration came from Buckminster Fuller’s work. The seaside atmosphere is very white with geometric textile clouds hanging in the ceiling, ‘dear ingo’ lamps by Moooi, Rooms Pharmacy like cabinets are giving the space a bit of a laboratory feeling. Some accented colors are scattered around like the bar in reddish orange, chair cushions in fuchsia and Blab Italia yellow tiles in bathrooms. Konstantin Grcic’s ‘chair one’ is used throughout the space, which again is connected to the theme of futurism.
Loft 2011 Tbilisi, Georgia Interior design for the new American restaurant “Loft” is democratic, with industrial elements.Yet the space doesn’t have a cold atmosphere, on the contrary -it’s quite cozy and homey.
The Dining Room 2010 Tbilisi, Georgia The interior captures the spirit of the soviet era, simle dining areas at our homes. Unique pieces include products by Rooms: the wallpaper “ No War” and the commode “Upside Down”.
Fashion shop Prive 2008 Tbilisi, Georgia Rooms used their Ghost Wallpaper and Dressed Chairs to enhance the interior with nostalgic and poetic style.
Dirk Bikkembergs 2008 Tbilisi, Georgia The shop of Dirk Bikkembergs is located in one of the old streets of the city Tbilisi. There are many old brick houses in one row and there is Bikkembergs vitrine in one of them. Rooms partially kept the old brick walls as
Vong / Asian fusion 2008 Tbilisi Georgia The interior design of the restaurant Vong is divided into three different spaces: day and night, dining room and the lounge. The guiding principle was to catch the Asian spirit and show it in a different way.

ROOMS HOTEL 2014 Tbilisi, Georgia Former industrial building of an old publishing house transformed into a contemporary 5-足story hotel. The essence and history of the building is retained, capturing the raw post-足industrial and offbeat bohemian vibe that has come to define this part of the capital city.
Rooms Philosophy: We love to experiment and mix different styles and time periods. It’s not easy to do, we think, but exactly this challenge makes us cosmopolitans.
