“When I need a break, I go to the lake!” That’s the cheery slogan my sister painted on a ceramic plaque that hangs at our family lake house. I always feel like I need a replica of the piece at home as a reminder. After all, by the time I’ve pulled up to our place on Lake Hamilton, unloaded the bags, and walked past the sign, the fact that I “need a break” is already in the rearview mirror; mentally, I’m on the dock with a book and beverage before I’ve even left town. Sentimental word art aside, there’s some truth to the sense of calm I can only find by the water. Other vacations involve a level of logistics that a trip to the lake does not, so even packing has that easygoing rhythm of tradition. Once we’re there, the slow mornings are my favorite: Sipping coffee on the screened porch followed by a cruise on the pontoon boat. It’s serene, it’s familiar, and it’s restorative. Whether you feel your best at the lake or somewhere else special, I hope you get the break you are looking for this summer.

Latest This summer, retailer HOWSE moved its Little Rock store from the Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center to a new location at 16105 Chenal Parkway. The Bentonville-based home furnishings brand has had a presence in central Arkansas since 2015. In the new store, shoppers will find a gallery-style display of the “Art HOWSE” collection featuring original and reproduced pieces by Arkansas native Buddy Whitlock (pictured above). Visit thehowse.com for hours and more information. Four sisters in Stuttgart realized a shared dream when they opened Sugartown Mercantile in May. Owners Michelle Jacobs, Andrea Jacobs Knight, Brooke Yelvington, and Taylor Yelvington renovated the storefront at 425 S. Main St. to create what they hope will become a true destination for locals as well as visitors to their hometown. Sugartown Mercantile’s shelves feature gifts, art, home décor, kitchen goods, and a curated selection of antiques and vintage finds, all in a down-toearth shopping atmosphere. Visit sugartownmercantile.com for hours and, coming soon, an online store. Little Rock locals Tabietha Dillard and Laurie Miller, owner of design business The Velvet Boxwood, have teamed up to create a curated online garden and entertaining shop called Gloriette. Their first “seasonal capsule collection,” which recently dropped, includes linens, pottery, dishes, glassware, gardening tools, and terracotta planters, all influenced by the owners’ love of the South. Visit shopgloriette.com to browse the collection.

Calming Trend Designer Laure Antonetti Schutze brings color and order to a Little Rock family’s kitchen

ears ago, fate brought designer Laure Antonetti Schutze and her clients Kim and Charles Glenn together when Kim reached out to an online service for a den makeover. While the entire exchange took place over email, she and Laure soon figured out they lived just 10 minutes from one another. Needless to say, a relationship formed and when the Glenns were ready to renovate their kitchen, they already had a local designer in mind. One of the couple’s main concerns with their

22 At Home in Arkansas | July 2022

previous U-shaped layout was how it confined the kitchen. “The peninsula that divided the spaces also housed the cooktop, so it ate up a lot of the workspace,” Laure says. Removing this wall of cabinetry and reconfiguring three adjoining spaces—the kitchen as well as the back entry and laundry—allowed for a more suitable traffic flow in all areas and made room for a center island. “The island has made the kitchen so much nicer for gatherings because you can get people around it,” Kim says. Along with seating for three, it also has a convection microwave, pull-out spice cabinet,

CENTRAL STATION

A space previously occupied by an antique buffet is now a built-in beverage station with workspace and storage. “We wanted this area to relate to the kitchen but also have its own feel,” Laure says, pointing to the copper penny backsplash that pairs with the same countertop, cabinetry color, and hardware seen throughout the rest of the kitchen. An ice maker and fridge create an instant bar area when the couple entertain.

trash bins, and roomy storage for large items such as platters and small appliances. “Every square inch in there is available to use for something,” Laure says. In terms of style, Kim was immediately drawn to color. “She called and said, I’m kind of thinking color, and my heart started fluttering,” Laure says with a laugh. “We’re more eclectic and I like pops of color, so when it

came to doing our kitchen, it was the obvious choice,” Kim adds, pointing to the cabinetry hue, which was the jumping off point for the design. “I wanted it to be bright but also neutral enough that I could pair other things with it. Almost anything I put in here—from copper and orange to blue and purple—goes with the space,” she adds.

METAL MIX

“I really like mixing metals, and I knew from the beginning I wanted to do that here,” Kim says, noting the pull-down brass faucet and hammered copper sink, which blend effortlessly with the stainless steel appliances.

2

ON THE SURFACE

One of the first purchases the Glenns made were the “Fantasy Brown” granite countertops. To complement their laidback lifestyle and love of nature, they opted for a matte, leathered finish that allows the contour of the stone to be both seen and felt.

TEXTURED TILE

A subway tile with a handformed look covers the backsplash, bringing in texture rather than additional pattern. “I didn’t want to overwhelm the area with something too busy. This has a really cool look that brings in some personality,” Laure says.

MINT TO BE

The cabinetry color (“Sea Salt” by Sherwin-Williams) can read blue, green, or gray depending on the light. Clean-lined brass pulls stand out against the hue.

Ben likes to serve baconwrapped dill pickle spears as an appetizer on burger nights, while seasoned pork rinds are a flavorful side.

Like many a Southerner, Ben Adams’s love of cooking is an inherited one. “My grandmother was a great cook,” he says, recalling summers spent staying over at his Mamaw’s house just outside Keo where lunch plates were piled high with ham and beans. Back at home, Ben also saw his mother’s knack for cooking. “She would just throw stuff in and the meal would come out perfect,” he says. “That’s where I get my love of cooking—from the two of them.” Today, Ben continues the family tradition at his own home in Little Rock, where he’s often at the helm of a Blackstone griddle. The inspiration to transition from indoor cooking to outdoor was twofold: “I saw someone making a smash burger and thought, Hey, I could do that on a skillet, but I could only make two at a time that way,” he says. Meanwhile, COVID had just hit and he found himself home for more meals than ever. Adding the flat-top grill to his repertoire not only allowed him to cook more in quantity, it also opened the door for all sorts of creative possibilities. “That’s when things really ramped up,” he laughs, noting it was around this time he started posting his creations on Instagram as the Bearded Chef Guy (@bearded_chef_guy). With two willing taste testers (his wife, Tiffany, who also happens to be managing editor of At Home and their 5-year-old daughter, Martha Ann), Ben turned their back deck into an experimental food lab. After working through the usuals, including that smash burger he’d been wanting to try—which uses a burger press to “smash” the patty very thin— he started to explore the versatility of the flat-top. “I’ve cooked biscuits on it, pizza, pasta, fried rice … basically anything you can cook inside, you can make outside on the griddle,” he says. And, like his mother and grandmother, he’s found the real joy comes from sharing these meals with others, both in person and online. “If you make something for somebody and you can tell they’re enjoying it, that’s more fun than actually cooking it,” he says. For this issue, Ben offers three variations on a classic summer smash burger. Turn the page to find the fixings for his Tex Mex burger, barbecue burger, and the locally influenced “Dew Baby.”

TAKE FIVE with Ben FAVORITE SEASONINGS Coarse black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. I’m also an ambassador for PS Seasoning. They make barbecue sauces, taco seasonings, a beer can chicken rub—I haven’t found anything they make that I don't like. FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR TO BE AT THE GRILL

Anytime. Even during the big snow storm last year, I was outside cooking. I particularly like it when the days are longer and you can spend more time out there after work. BEST COMPLIMENT SOMEONE CAN GIVE YOUR COOKING A clean plate. SOMETHING YOU HAVEN’T TRIED ON THE GRIDDLE YET I’ve been seeing octopus at Costco. I

don’t really know if it’s on the list, but maybe! FAVORITE LOCAL BURGER (WHEN DINING OUT!)

David’s Burgers are at the top of my list.

Northwest Arkansas has become a veritable mecca for cyclists over the past decade—particularly with the opening of the Razorback Regional Greenway, a 36-mile trail connecting the downtown areas of Bentonville, Fayetteville, and everywhere in between. Check OZ TRAILS (oztrails.com) for the latest information from the region’s cycling community, including new routes and current trail conditions.

OK, this one is technically inside— but if you’re looking to get active while taking a break from the sun, an indoor pickleball court is the place to be. If you’ve been practicing with the paddle for some time, you might be ready for the SPA CITY CLASSIC INDOOR PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Beat the Heat LEARN A LITTLE HISTORY

Housed inside the former AtkinsonWilliams Warehouse, the location of the FORT SMITH MUSEUM OF HISTORY (fortsmithmuseum.org) is itself a historic artifact preserved for future generations. Visit the educational center and take in the frontier city’s history through exhibits outlining the region’s intriguing past—and don’t leave without a milkshake from the museum’s 1920s-era soda fountain!

Kaitlin moved to Bentonville in 2018 to join The Momentary as a curator two years before the museum opened. “It’s super exciting to know I get to help shape something new, which is not an opportunity a lot of contemporary art curators have today,” she says. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, she appreciates how her new home is evolving while staying true to its Natural State roots. Here's how she's living her best Arkansas summer.

FAVORITE EATS Bar Cleeta. As a curator I’m always taking artists to dinner, so it’s nice to have a restaurant that changes their menu seasonally and reflects the region. ON HER PLAYLIST Coming from the West and now living in the South, I do a lot of driving. I love listening to Waxahatchee because she’s an incredible songwriter with a truly modern Americana sound. What’s more Americana than a cross-country road trip? FAVORITE WAY TO GET OUTDOORS My fiancé and I both own canoes so we do quite a bit of canoeing. We love to go to Beaver Lake and other lakes around Fayetteville. BEST WAY TO BEAT THE HEAT The Bentonville public pool. I love to go there on Sundays because it’s not as busy; I joke that it’s my church! CURRENT CULTURAL TO-DO LIST Live music at The Momentary. I’m definitely biased, but our spaces are so unique—no matter the size of the audience, you have a close connection to the artist performing.

FAVORITE HAPPY HOUR The Meteor. They have amazing natural wine and happy hour specials, and they’ve got a nice patio. It’s cool because most people who go there are walking or on bikes. It’s very Bentonville. GO-TO ROAD TRIP Kansas City. I love to go see the museums there, and it’s an easy 2.5 hour drive from here. THIS SUMMER, YOU’LL FIND HER… Outside at The Momentary. Half of our current exhibit is outdoors, and the artist, Esteban Cabeza de Baca, has a site-specific living sculpture titled “Host” that’s both an artwork and vessel for Arkansas native plants. Over the next several months the plants will grow and evolve along with the seasons. My whole team has been obsessed with these monarch cocoons, and there’s milkweed and strawberries growing in other parts of the sculpture. “Esteban Cabeza de Baca: Let Earth Breathe” is on view at The Momentary through September 25. My dad would rent a cabin during the summers, and we had a flat bottom that we’d go out on and fish. Other than that, our neighborhood was filled with kids, so it was nonstop basketball, bike riding, days at Wild River Country, and nights at the original Maumelle Pizza Hut.

A contemporary lakeside home offers its owners a true escape from day-to-day life

ON THE CLIMB

“We were all on the same page about the floating stairs,” Heather says of the concept for a main stairwell that is visible from the entry and the living space. To bring interest below, a wicker console speaks to the causal lake setting. “In contemporary design, the trick is to bring in texture to keep it from getting cold,” the designer says. Heather printed photographs of the couple’s children wakeboarding for personal art on the ascending walls while black-and-white abstracts lead the way to the primary bedroom downstairs.

hen the owners of this Hot Springs home found an empty lot on the shores of Lake Hamilton, they jumped at the chance to create a vacation home they could enjoy with their two children as well as friends and family. With two directives in mind—a modern structure and four bedroom suites—they reached out to Chris Milligan, residential designer and owner of design-build firm Dwellings, and interior designer Heather Fuller of Fuller Design Co., who worked hand-in-hand on the new build. “Chris came up with the vision for the house and the design evolved from there,” Heather says, noting he has the mind of a designer and the capability of a contractor. “The whole thought was they live in a traditional home in Little Rock, so let’s make this feel like a true vacation getaway,” Chris says. To accomplish this, they opted for a style that was a direct departure from the primary residence. Heather, who had worked on that home and been friends with the couple for years, knew the feel should still be warm and inviting even

though the bend was modern. “She is very practical, and it is so easy to work with her,” Heather says of the homeowner. “I have really come to know what she likes, and that makes the process easy.” Speaking to this practicality as well as the setting, Chris and Heather selected materials with durability and a natural appeal. For example, Arkansas limestone and ipe wood are introduced on the front exterior and carry through the home. “Ipe is the hardest natural wood,” Chris says. “It’s also resilient to bugs, and you can treat it just once a year to richen its color.” The versatile material can be found everywhere from the primary bath to the platform for the dining room light fixture. The mix of wood and stone are also complemented with touches of contrast. “Houses are going back to color,” Heather says. “When a space is this open and white, you’ve got to bring in that depth and warmth,” she adds, referencing the kitchen island as well as the bedding and accessories that provide a dose of coziness throughout the home. AH

July 2022 | athomearkansas.com 41

NATURAL CHOICES

The blend of limestone and wood first introduced on the exterior continues into the open-concept living room along the fireplace wall. Built-in cubbies are a style feature that break up the expanse of stone around the gas-burning fireplace, while floating shelves and cabinetry offer media storage as well as display space. Rather than heavy window treatments, Heather opted for blinds that rise all the way to the tops of the windows to maximize the natural light.

WARMING UP

“I really pushed for color in the kitchen to make it feel cozier,” Heather says, pointing to the island. Simple, clean-lined cabinetry with minimalistic hardware mixes with the rest of the home’s woods to keep the focus on the view outside as well as the people inside.

Large-scale porcelain tile runs throughout the ground floor, resulting in a look that’s equally lowmaintenance and chic.

ROOM FOR A CROWD

Knowing the retreat would play host to family and friends frequently, Heather worked with HOWSE to create a custom ironand-wood table that can seat up to 10. Abstract artwork elevates the feel of the space while adhering to the cohesive palette. Underfoot, a bound-carpet rug further defines the space.

WOODSY RETREAT

In the primary bedroom, hanging sconces stand out against an accent wall. All four of the house’s bedrooms feature floating bedside tables and king-sized beds for comfortable stays. In the adjoining bath, Chris brought in the ipe wood on a feature wall and deck that set the tub apart from the shower. When coupled with the view, these features have a treehouse-like effect. His and her floating vanities line the opposite wall.

“We thought, let’s keep it really simple here,” Heather says of the upstairs bunk room. Four built-in beds with storage space underneath for overnight bags are a favorite spot for the kids and their friends. Playful bedding and pillows add to the kid-friendly feel.

In the evenings, the sun sets right over the water at the home’s back entrance, making it a favorite spot to gather after a day on the lake. “The kids can swim in the cove and adults can relax in the pool,” Heather notes. With the push of a button, a built-in television rises from the countertop seen behind the fireplace, an ideal feature for enjoying game days.

HELLO, FRESH

In the entry, a series of framed botanicals and chairs upholstered in a preppy striped fabric complement an antique rug and Empire chest. “These pieces create a nice moment when you come in the door and really clue you in as to what the rest of the house is about,” Kevin says. The lamp seen on the chest is custom made from a blue and white urn. An upholstered settee leads into the adjoining dining room.

READY FOR GUESTS

While the breakfast nook is the preferred spot for quick meals, the dining room stands at the ready to host more pulled-together soirées. Kevin notes the hand-printed look of the patterned wallpaper “adds personality without being distracting,” while an indoor/outdoor rug and fabric panels on the interior of an antique cabinet soften the room’s formality.

L

ike so many people, Kevin Walsh’s clients began dreaming of a getaway when the pandemic hit. Wanting to be near friends in Hot Springs, they found an ideal retreat on the shores of Lake Hamilton and immediately brought the designer in to orchestrate a refresh of the home’s main spaces. “We wanted to give the house a new lease on life,” Kevin says. Having worked with the clients on their primary home, the designer knew they leaned traditional in terms of style and would want a similar feel here. “She came to me with the idea of using blue and white, something very classic but with a twist since it is a lake house,” he says. With minimal updates needed, including fresh paint, new lighting, and a dose of character to suit their personalities, Kevin fast-tracked the project, installing just 6 months after the purchase date. “They were eager to be in but they also wanted to get the design right,” he says. To accomplish the calm yet elevated style, cues were taken from the natural surroundings. “The blues

and greens you see outside blend in with the interiors rather than distract from one another,” Kevin explains. The palette flows throughout, linking the rooms while taking on different interpretations through pattern and variation in shades. “The foundation is traditional but all the rooms have their own flavor,” he says. With two bedrooms, two baths, and ample gathering spaces on the ground floor as well as two additional suites upstairs, the home has plenty of room to host weekend houseguests or entertain for an evening, both of which the couple enjoy. Taking the lake into consideration as the property’s major draw, Kevin accounted for wet swimsuits and low-maintenance upkeep with performance fabrics on the sofa and banquette, rattan chairs in the casual dining area, and indoor/outdoor rugs in several spaces. Using new upholstered pieces alongside antiques creates an aesthetic that appears more curated, as well. To this point, many of the accessories act as agents of character. “I’m a big thrifter, so there are a lot of baskets, pottery pieces, and doodads I mixed in throughout the house to make it feel very personal,” Kevin says. “Fringe has been around forever, but this one is such a fun take that it feels fresh and updated,” Kevin says.

POINT OF VIEW

“The living room is all about the view, so I wanted to maximize it,” Kevin says. Roman shades were traded for blue-and-white patterned curtains that open easily to fully reveal the windows and lake beyond. “When you open the drapes, it’s almost like being in a treehouse,” Kevin says. A French chair with a cerused finish is covered in a performance fabric velvet that is both an elevated and durable choice for a vacation home.

56 At Home in Arkansas | July 2022

CASUAL DINING

The breakfast area overlooking the water is the most-frequented dining spot with a banquette that allows many to gather in the cozy nook. “The chairs have the look and feel of bistro ones but the back is a little lacy, making them a little more girly—and my client is a girly girl, so that’s fun,” Kevin says. They are paired with a wicker tulip table and maritime-inspired pendant, another subtle nod to the home’s waterfront setting.

July 2022 | athomearkansas.com 57

PLAYFUL PATTERNS

In the primary bedroom, a Colefax and Fowler wallpaper mimics the home’s treetop setting while also adding to the design’s timeless appeal. “The wallpaper is super traditional but the block-print quilted bedding and the Swedish-style armoire bring everything down a notch,” Kevin says. Works by Little Rock artist Zac Woodiel hang over the bedside chests.

In Their Own Backyard Amy Baker Designs maximizes the potential—and personality—of a family home on Lake Hamilton WRITER & STYLIST STEPHANIE MAXWELL NEWTON PHOTOGRAPHER RETT PEEK

W

ith five children between them and a love of entertaining, Miki and Bryan Hiller knew they would need to find someplace special when they started looking for a waterfront home in Hot Springs. “We wanted a really great view and deep water, but also somewhere quiet enough that I wouldn’t have to worry about the kids swimming and boats coming by,” Miki says. When this house in a quiet cove came on the market, they didn’t care what it looked like—they jumped at the opportunity for their dream location on the lake. Recognizing the residence would need a major overhaul, the Hillers brought in Rusty Rogers of Rogers Construction to help transform its outdated floor plan into something better suited to their family and style. The improvements included bumping out one wall to allow for a larger kitchen as well as an open floor plan that’s conducive for both school nights and social gatherings. For help finishing out the interiors, a mutual friend connected Miki with Hot Springs designer Amy Baker, who also lives full-time on the lake. “They’re a younger, kind of hip family, and we ended up hitting it off because we’re in similar places in life,” Amy says. When designing the interiors, Amy was tasked with

combining Bryan’s love for all things contemporary with Miki’s more transitional style. She started with a simple black-and-white palette and sprinkled in wood tones and glam accents throughout to add warmth and character. “There’s been a black-and-white craze, and with this house being traditional in shape, we could make modern selections without it being stark and cold,” the designer says, noting elements such as the primary bath’s white oak cabinetry bring a subtle softness. “My personal style is more of a rustic modern, so I love a touch of wood to warm things up.” With children spanning ages 9 to 14 and three dogs, practicality was also top of mind throughout the process. To this end, wood-look tile flooring provides a durable base upstairs. “There’s so much water coming in this house that tile seemed to make sense, but I wanted it to look like wood,” Miki says. Additionally, the children needed a casual hang-out spot where everyone could bring a friend or two. The solution took the form of a bunk room downstairs; with two sets of four queen beds, there’s enough space to accommodate 16 during sleepovers. The result is a place where the whole family feels at home while being able to fully enjoy the setting—wet bathing suits and all. AH

July 2022 | athomearkansas.com 61

WELCOMING VIBE

Because Miki and Bryan love to entertain, a nook near the front door was the perfect place to situate a bar. Here, white cabinetry and streamlined hardware carry over from the nearby kitchen while the space takes on a style of its own with black leathered countertops and a glimmering backsplash. The entry, which can be seen to the right of the bar, is wrapped in wooden slats and LED lights—a creative solution to the area’s low ceilings that wound up being a point of interest as soon as you step foot in the home.

“Tricorn Black” Sherwin-Williams

LIVING EASY

The home’s minimal palette makes a bold statement in the living room, where the all-black fireplace also helps disguise the TV. The paint treatment was chosen with forward thinking in mind: “If they ever get tired of the black, they can easily lay a product, like white stone, on top of it,” Amy says. A comfortable sectional and blue swivel chairs provide a cozy gathering spot that can accommodate the whole family, while X benches are easy to move around to create conversation zones.

MODERN SIMPLICITY

“Pure White” Sherwin-Williams

When thinking about the home’s remodel, one of Miki’s highest priorities was maintaining the view of the lake. Therefore, she selected commercial-style windows and doors to provide unobstructed views while also playing into the industrial slant of the home’s modern style. A round, whitewashed table has plenty of space for the family of seven as well as guests. “When we have parties, this is always where we end up at the end of the night,” Miki says.

July 2022 | athomearkansas.com 63

“The plan was to keep it sleek and simple, and artistic in a way.” —Amy Baker, designer

64 At Home in Arkansas | July 2022

FORM MEETS FUNCTION

In the kitchen, Amy used the same black color seen on the fireplace on the island and range hood for continuity. Cowhide barstools and “White Pearl” quartzite countertops speak to the home’s natural setting while balancing the stark color palette. In lieu of a backsplash tile, Royal Granite & Quartz carried coordinating slabs up the wall. “I wanted a lot of stone in there, and they did a great job matching the veining,” Miki says. Overhead, glass pendants further the room’s sophisticated feel while keeping the space open and airy.

Stainless steel appliances from GE’s Café collection balance the warmer tones of the lighting and hardware. A pantry beside the refrigerator provides additional storage as well as a sink and dishwasher, so it’s extra easy to keep the kitchen counters uncluttered.

A CALMING NATURE

With a grasscloth accent wall, tailored draperies, and an upholstered bed, the couple’s bedroom has the softer feel Miki craved for their suite. “I told her, this room is an ode to you,” Amy says. “The blue grasscloth just felt like the lake. It’s natural and makes you think of water, which is calm and relaxing,” she adds. Shimmering thread runs through the decorative trim on the curtains, which Amy says is another nod to Miki’s tendency toward a touch of glam.

July 2022 | athomearkansas.com 67

NATURAL CHOICE

A picture window offering a view of the lake is a favorite feature in the bathroom. Whereas the black-and-white palette throughout the rest of the house could be softened with furnishings, Amy used white oak cabinetry to play this role in the bathroom. “When we picked this out it seemed very California,” Miki says. “I had never pictured doing wood this color, but I’m so glad we did.” Globe-shaped sconces over the vanities mimic the bubble-like fixture over the tub, and porcelain tile flooring in a concrete color continues the home’s modern feel.

MEET THE ARTIST

Lisa Krannichfeld The supportive art community and the state’s everevolving mix of people from different backgrounds. “Diversity in representation is a big theme in my work as a result of growing up here.”

Her Art Mixed media figures and portraits using ink, watercolors, acrylic paint, collages, cement, and resin.

Favorite Subject “Almost all of my paintings have to do with women. You paint what you know, right?!”

Dream Project A second mural. “I created my first mural in downtown North Little Rock last year, and I am itching to do another one. It doesn’t matter where, but if I could pair it with a cool trip to a new city that would be great!”

Pieces with Purpose “I love hearing how collectors connect with my work and where it finds a place in their lives. A lot of my work ends up in women’s professional spaces, inspiring ambition and confidence. I also love hearing when collectors hang my pieces in their daughters’ rooms.”

Creative Must-Haves Snacks and comfortable clothes. “Loud music used to be a must, but most times these days I have a sleeping baby [Lisa is mom to 2-year-old Julien and 5-month-old Ruby] snoozing in my studio, and I have started to like the quiet.”

GIVEAWAY Watch our Instagram (@athomearkansas) in July for a chance to win a 24- by 24-inch print of Lisa’s “Alpha.”
