ERASMUS+ PROJECT ON TECHNOLOGY BROUGHT MADEIRAN TEACHERS TO TURKEY Events and Activities during a week
Teachers from Madeira visited Turkey under an Erasmus+ project involving five schools from five different countries (Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Romania and Turkey), aiming at sharing experiences, educational practices and pedagogical ideas and the implementation of new ICT methodologies, and also bringing together students and teachers of different nationalities.

The last transnational meeting of the Erasmus + project "Let´s Conquer Tecnology for our Students" took place in Istanbul between 1 and 5 April 2019, which is part of the EB1/PE of Lombada da Ponta do Sol, with Célia Miguel, Sofia Freitas and Rosa Luisa Gaspar, project coordinator as participating teachers. The reception was made by the school Moda Primary School, Kadıköy, İstanbul, Turkey. There was the opportunity to learn a little about Turkish history by visiting important heritage sites where the Bahariye, Pera Galatasaray Museum, and the discovery of Kadiköy and the Bosporus were visited, says Rosa Luísa, project coordinator. "This mobility achieved the objectives initially proposed, and the experience was very fruitful for the participants, namely in the contact with another reality, another educational system, another culture and customs".
