Monday, August 10, 2020 POA Reminders and Updates As a friendly reminder, when using the amenities please follow the posted hours and rules of the amenities. Please remember to keep noise volume down as there are many homes that neighbor the amenities within the community. Kayak storage spots are still available! If you are interested in renting a spot, please contact Toni at the POA Office oremail her at toni.dowling@rosehillpoa.com. There will be a special Board work session on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 4:30 pm at the old Weichart Building. Recently, there have been many reports to the POA office of residents placing yard debris in common open spaces. Please remember to remove and discard of your yard debris via trash service or at the waste and recycling center located on Simmonsville Road. If residents are caught dumping or placing debris in the common areas, a fine of $200.00 will be assessed. Reminder that there is no parking on the Polo Field during/after a Hurricane. As always, please remember to pick up after your pets and when out in the community please keep your pets under voice control or on leashes! Thank you! Please remember to watch your speed within the community!

GOLF CARTS AND LOW SPEED VEHICLES (LSV’S) a. Annual registration and a Rose Hill decal are required for golf carts and LSV’s that will be operated on Rose Hill roadways. There is no charge for the decal. b. Requirements to obtain a Rose Hill decal are: • A current SC issued golf cart permit • Proof of liability insurance • LSV owners must provide a current SC registration and display a vehicle license c. LSV’s that will be driven only on private property are not required to provide the above documents to obtain a Rose Hill decal, but they are required to display a Rose Hill decal. d. Distinctively different decals will be issued to vehicles authorized for road use. Vehicles whose decal indicates the vehicle is for use on private residential property only will be stopped and subject to a plantation fine as determined by the Board if it is driven on the road. e. Operating restrictions: • A person operating a golf cart or LSV must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license per South Carolina Law. If an unlicensed driver is stopped by security driving on any road within the plantation, they will not be permitted to drive the vehicle home and a fine may apply •

The driver must have in his/her possession a valid driver’s license, valid state registration card and, if applicable, valid South Carolina permit and proof of liability insurance.


Committees The POA office is still taking applications for committees. Complete a committee interest form and return it to the POA office in person, via email, USPS, or the lock box.

Oak Terrace Current Hours of Operation: Serving Wednesday - Saturday | 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Happy Hour | 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. And Sunday | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. August 19th Keith Klaiber will be playing from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

August 28th The Summer Concert Series will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. There will be live music by Eddie and the Heifers.

Attendance will be limited to 5-8 people per session so everyone has ample opportunity to express thoughts, ideas, questions and collective wisdom with everyone there. If you are interested, please send an email to Kristin at the POA office Kristin@rosehillpoa.com. Space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If interest is large enough, additional dates will be added to ensure everyone has an opportunity to attend. As space is limited, and to be fair to all, one person per household, or lot, can attend. Every resident who expressed interest in attending a session will be given an opportunity to attend before any household/lot can attend a second time.
