OTHER STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
Tech
Talks/Lunch and Learn
Invite faculty and students to bring their lunch to your product display and technical presentation – best held on a Friday for a uniquely Rose-Hulman reason.
Product Development Presentations
Rose-Hulman students love nothing more than hearing about how science and engineering led to the discovery of a new idea and the design iterations necessary to bring it to market. Share one of your company’s recent success stories and give a glimpse into the technical developments of what might be coming next.
On Campus Interviews
With four dedicated interview rooms in the Career Services & Employer Relations office suite, you can interview a host of candidates any time of year. The day after the Fall Career Fair provides a dedicated Interview City in our repurposed fair venue.
Tabling Sessions
The most basic of recruitment events: inviting students to stop by a table in the Mussallem Union or the academic complex to drop off a resume and discuss employment opportunities at your company.
ACADEMIC ENGAGEMENT
Capstone Design Projects
Engage with students and faculty while you move a project at your company off the back burner and into reality. Project scope: deliverable expected of a single scientist/engineer at your company over a nine-month timeframe. Only costs to the company are the material costs of the project and one hour a week to oversee progress.
Equipment/Technology Donations
Shape the technical knowledge of Rose-Hulman graduates (and serve your future talent needs) by donating software, equipment, or other technology for student use in one of our academic lab spaces or innovation centers. We’ll ensure you are able to claim the immediate tax benefits while also establishing your company brand on campus.
Faculty Sabbatical
An eager collection of Rose-Hulman faculty is granted time each academic year for sabbatical. These experiences are meant to drive course and program development in our academic majors. If you have capacity for a one-year contract agreement with a Rose-Hulman professor, and you would like to help determine the educational outcomes in engineering and science, this is an opportunity to shape the coursework completed by future Rose-Hulman graduates.
