When Breedlove set out to create a guitar that would surpass the classic big body sound of the dreadnought, they didn’t just want it to be loud. They sought to bring out more tonal complexity, and to offer a much more comfortable playing experience, too. A new guitar shape created to elicit more volume than a classic dreadnought, and more lush, complex tonal resonance in a comfortable body shape that feels just right. Loud, textured, and supremely satisfying. The Concerto has a more pronounced waist, making it comfortable to play while sitting and approachable while standing.

The Concert is Breedlove’s most popular body shape, favoured by players because it is well-balanced, compact, comfortable to play and offers all the qualities of a great sounding guitar. It generates a wonderfully articulate range of tone with an ample low end that is never boomy, but always felt. The Concert works well when played fingerstyle, as vocal accompaniment, or at a full strum.
CONCERTINA SCALE LENGTH 25”
Introduced in 2018, the concertina is Breedlove’s small body guitar, delivering a surprisingly clear, crisp, loud sound. It’s 12-frets to the body design make it a joy to play. Extensive Sound Optimisation™ engineering has resulted in a body shape that has a bigger sound and is more comfortable to play than a traditional parlour.

Historically, serious guitar players on-the-move have faced a rather tough dilemma; contend with the challenges of traveling with a fullsize guitar or settle for a more convenient, smaller instrument with traditionally reduced sound quality... The travel guitar. Travel guitars. They’ve become ubiquitous. An instrument that’s perfect for a campfire, a guitar to keep in the office or a gift for a niece with a musical bent. The Artista Series BREEDLOVE ORGANIC ARTISTA SERIES TORREFIED EUROPEAN SPRUCE - EXOTIC OREGON MYRTLEWOOD High Energy and Balanced Tone of Myrtlewood.
Myrtlewood grows in Oregon along a 90 mile stretch of the Pacific Ocean coast. It is Breedlove’s favourite tonewood for back and sides as it delivers surprising energy and extraordinary tonal balance in additional to its highly varied colour patterns, which is extenuated by a thin UV Natural Shadow Burst finish. To further boost the high energy sound Breedlove have chosen a hard rock maple neck, which is denser than mahogany, and an African ebony fingerboard and bridge. Of course, the top is torrefied European spruce for the rich, aged sound of an acoustic built decades ago. Nothing has been spared, including brass inlays, gold frets and tuners and Breedlove’s Natural Sound electronics. Each model is supplied with a deluxe Breedlove gigbag.
