SPRING AWAKENINGS DAY ONE

DAY ONE Upon your arrival in the Twin Cities, arrive at the Northern Clay Center and learn about the wide variety of ceramic art, the techniques and equipment used for making pots and sculpture and conclude with an artist demonstration. After your tour, you’ll head to Roseville and check into your hotel. Tonight, come and cheer on the Minnesota Twins at Target Field in Minneapolis. Target Minnesota Twins Field is the ultimate fan experience, offering great amenities and fantastic views of the Minneapolis skyline. After the game, head back to your Roseville hotel to celebrate a Twins victory!

DAY TWO Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and depart to FOCI Minnesota Center for Glass Arts for an experience like no other. Join a professional glass artist at FOCI to discover the basic glass techniques to create a one of a kind takeFOCI away piece of glass. After your glass experience at FOCI, you’ll head to Surly Brewery for a tour. Surly Brewery’s new $30 Million facility will leave you in amazement as you sample a variety of beers and enjoy lunch in their beer hall. Soak in the sights after your Surly Brewery tour at the Mill City Museum. You’ll learn how the Washburn A Mill was once the world’s largest flour mill and learn about the flour industry, the river and the city of Minneapolis. Tonight, after dinner in Roseville, become an artist while enjoying beer and spirit samples of Roseville’s own brewery/distillery. Your group will head over to Bent Brewstillery, the only brewery and distillery in Twin Cities and Bent Brewstillery experience Bellotti’s Beer and Brushes. Your group will create a painting with an award winning artist who will instruct you step-bystep and help you re-create a work of art to take home!

DAY THREE Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Before you depart, your group will receive complimentary farewell roses, courtesy of the Roseville Visitors Association. Next, have a theater arts experience you’ll never forget! Your group will head over go the Guthrie Theater and learn the Art of Stage Combat. Learn choreography techniques that actors learn without getting hurt! Afterwards, you’ll journey home and take back wonderful memories of your Arts, Crafts and Drafts adventure in the Twin Cities.

Upon your arrival to the Twin Cities, come see bloom at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. Travel through the many gardens as you explore this historic treasure. A Como Education will provide you with a tour of the gardens along with up-close animal encounters in a classroom setting. After your tour, depart and check into your Roseville hotel. Tonight, spring into action at the Brave New Workshop and experience an evening of an Improv workshop. The Brave New Workshop is the oldest comedy theatre in the US and is world renowned for their improvisation sessions. Have fun with your group and embrace your creative spirit!

DAY TWO Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and begin your morning with a spring in your step as you take a walking tour of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden which includes the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry and showcases more than 40 works from the Walker Art Center’s renowned collection. After your tour, you’ll explore the Cowles Conservatory and the Alene Grossman Memorial Arbor and Flower Garden. Enjoy lunch in Minneapolis. This afternoon, travel back in time during a Segway Magical History Tour™! Your guide will take you to various historic sites along the scenic Mississippi River.

This evening, enjoy a dinner and theater production at North Heights Lutheran Church. North Heights offers memorable production with a large cast, amazing sets, uplifting music and much more.

DAY THREE Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Before you depart, your group will receive complimentary farewell roses from the Roseville Visitors Association. Next, depart for Historic Fort Snelling and go behind the scenes at the state archeology lab to meet an archeologist to see and handle some of the original treasures unearthed at Historic Fort Snelling Fort Snelling, one of the largest excavations of a military outpost in North America. Afterwards, relax and enjoy your journey home.

HOLIDAY DELIGHTS DAY ONE

Guthrie Theater

Begin your adventures with a behindthe-scenes tour of Bachman’s, one of the Twin Cities’ largest floral, gift and garden centers. After your tour, you’ll head to Roseville and check into your hotel. Tonight, enjoy dinner and then head down to the Guthrie Theater for the classic production of “A Christmas Carol”.

DAY ONE Start your crisp fall adventure with a boat excursion aboard the Padelford Riverboats. Enjoy the magnificent fall colors as you journey on the timeless splendor of the mighty Mississippi River. Debark the Padelford and head to Roseville to check into your hotel. This evening, enjoy a true culinary experience at Cooks of Crocus Hill on Grand Avenue. You’ll create an unforgettable meal with direction form one of their professional chefs. Truly a treat for all!

DAY TWO After breakfast at the hotel, head to Saint Paul and find out when Saint Paul was “rotten to the core” during the Saint Paul Gangster. Your step-on guide will take you past the most infamous gangster hideouts and famous nightclubs. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at the Wabasha Street Caves, which used to be an underground nightclub in 1933 called the ‘Castle’. After lunch, depart for Pine Tree Apple Orchard Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake. The Jacobson Family welcomes you to their orchard where they grow 25 different varieties of apples. During your visit, you’ll enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at a working orchard and then take a scenic wagon ride through the orchard. After your tour, it’s time to kick back and have a beer at Big Wood Brewery. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the newest tap rooms in the Twin Cities. After your tour, discover the unique shops of downtown White Bear Lake. This evening, enjoy a theater performance at one of our popular theater venues, including the Channhassen Dinner Theaters, Hennepin Theatre District or the Ordway Center for Performance Arts.

DAY THREE

Renaissance Festival

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Before you depart, your group will receive complimentary farewell roses from the Roseville Visitors Association. Next, depart for the Renaissance Festival, one of largest Renaissance Festivals in the United States. Journey back to the fictional 16th Century and enjoy a feast with kings, a royal joust or an abundance of activities to choose from. After your full day at the Renaissance Festival, head home with wonderful memories of your fall adventure.

DAY TWO Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and depart for Minneapolis to find out what it’s like to be “A Day in the Life of an Elf” at Macy’s Santaland. Afterwards, head off to the American Swedish Institute and enjoy a festive holiday lunch followed by a tour of their annual holiday display of lavishly decorated trees, tables set for a Christmas meal and hand crafted ornaments from Scandinavian countries. After your tour, it’s time to head over Saint Paul to discover the Alexander Ramsey House. Decorated for the holidays, the Alexander Ramsey House is one of the nation’s best preserved Victorian-era homes. Afterwards, head up to Grand Avenue and start your holiday shopping. Grand Avenue boasts an eclectic and inviting atmosphere with quaint shopping.

Guidant John Rose MN OVAL

This evening, enjoy dinner in Roseville and depart for the Guidant John Rose MN OVAL for holiday skating and enjoy the holiday lights of OVALumination, over 75,000 holiday lights that sparkle in the night sky.

DAY THREE Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Before you depart, your group will receive complimentary farewell roses from the Roseville Visitors Association. Before you venture home, don’t forget your holiday shopping at Rosedale Center, one of the Twin Cities’ premier shopping destinations. Rosedale Center features more than 160 retailers, AMC theatres, seven full service restaurants and much more. After shopping, relax and enjoy your journey home.
