Ages: 16+ Are you feeling creative and want to take an art class but don’t know where to start? Art for the Extreme Beginner is a crash course in a small sampling of different art media. Try your hand at painting, clay, printmaking and more. A different material will be introduced each week. Absolutely no art experience required! Students should bring a small sketchbook and drawing pencils. Beginning Watercolor

Drawing Basics
Ages: 16 + Drawing Basics is the perfect starting point for students who have little to zero experience. The foundations skills and techniques will be taught and demonstrated through observational drawing exercises. Drawing Studio
Ages: 16 + Students learn the fundamentals of drawing through instructor technique and skill demonstrations and lots of practice. Students draw from still life motifs using graphite and charcoal. Beginners work from simple arrangements while experienced students work one more complex compositions and subject matter. Class materials are not provided. Landscape Painting in Plein Air Active Aging Week One Day Workshop
Ages: 55 + Plein air is “open air”, meaning that students paint outside in the elements and experience of nature all around. Students paint from observation, making small paintings. Students will address issues of light, color and landscape form. All skill levels of painters are welcome. Wirewrapping for Jewelry

Ages: 16 + Enjoy a creative alternative to standard jewelry. This class requires minimal tools, no soldering and is completely portable. Each class will complete a project involving wire only and/or with another object, including plastic, glass, minerals or polished stones. Wire is provided for first class only. $3 materials fee due to instructor
