CO2CRC LOGO

CLEAR SPACE

MINIMUM SIZE

A minimum 10mm clear space should be applied to all sides of the CO2CRC logo. This gives the logo greater emphasis. It is important not to crowd the CO2CRC logo with other logos in the layout.

In all versions of the CO2CRC logo, the logo must be at least 30mm wide.

TAGLINE

CO2CRC logos can be downloaded from https://co2crc2. sharepoint.com/CO2CRC Design Resources, or contact your project eader if you don’t have access to CO2CRC Sharepoint.

CO2CRC’s current tagline is “Building a low emissions future.” It always appears in uppercase text below the CO2CRC symbol. Please use the artwork provided and do not reset the tagline.

LOGO USAGE GUILDLINES

INCORRECT USES OF CO2CRC LOGO

In order to establish consistency and build recognition for the CO2CRC logo, it should always be shown in corporate red and blue with the black tagline, or can be shown in white, reversed out of a solid field of color. Color consistency is key to building and maintaining a solid, recognisable brand identity for CO2CRC (see CO2CRC color palette on page 4).

Please do not attempt to:

CORRECT USES OF CO2CRC LOGO All versions of the CO2CRC logo must be used correctly, see below. The prefered layout is the stacked version. Where this layout is not suitable for a particular application, please use the in-line version.

›› change logo colours ›› distort the logo elements ›› change logo typeface ›› re-create an alternate logo with primary logo elements ›› alter the spacing between the letter in the logo artwork provided, or

›› make a pattern by repeating the logo or use as a decorative element.

COLOUR PALETTE

COLOUR VALUES

The following are the corporate colours for CO2CRC, and should be used as the base colour scheme for reports and other CO2CRC publications. These colours can be used at 100% of their value, and as lighter shades (tints).

RGB values, CMYK values and Pantone numbers are different methods for defining a colour. If you are using Microsoft Word, you will only need the RGB values. If you are using other page layout software or sending material to a graphic designer, you may need the CMYK values or Pantone numbers.

Primary colours, blue, red and green should be used predominantly in all CO2CRC communications. Secondary colours can be used for items that require differentiation, for example, within charts and graphs, or for updates or callout buttons in digital applications.

TYPEFACE Helvetica Neue 45 Light

Helvetica Neue 55 Roman

Typography is a strong extension of CO2CRC brand identity. We have designated Helvetica Neue as our primary typeface. This simple, modern typeface helps portray CO2CRC image effectively and professionally. Since this typeface is not available in all applications, we have selected alternate typeface – Calibri for CO2CRC internal publications such as reports, letters and faxes.

The background image has been embedded into the slide master of each PowerPoint template. Should you wish to include the background when printing handouts of your presentations, select the colour option in your print dialogue box – even if you are using a black and white printer.

FONTS The only font used in CO2CRC presentations should be Calibri. Calibri has been chosen because:

›› It is easy to read ›› It is a system font, and should be on all computers as a default font.

Presentation title should be written in black, Calibri Light 36pt, maximum two lines. Slide title should be written in black, Calibri 32pt. Heading level 1 should be written in red Calibri bold 24pt. Body Text should be written in black, Calibri, 20pt. If necessary, your body text can be reduced to 18pt,

OTHER LOGOS Should you need to include other logos, they should be on a white background, placed at the bottom of the screen to the right of the CO2CRC logo (see samples below). Please ensure sufficient clear space is given to all logos.

POWERPOINT TIPS

There are two types of slide layouts available in CO2CRC PowerPoint templates; two-column layout and blank layout as shown below. The two-column layout has been set as default, however the blank layout can be used when multiple images or detailed diagrams are required. To apply the blank layout to your slide go to Home > Layout > select blank layout from the drop-down menu. Please note that images or diagrams used in your presentation must not overlap the footer area.
