W I N E & W H I S K E Y T A S T I N G
This Friday, September 23, The Beuke Couple once again exceeded our expectations, during a festive and very interesting meeting, proposed by our President Luciana
As always, the parties at the "Casa Branca" ( White House) always bring us intense moments, lots of laughs, good conversations, as well as

which even knowing that we are going to gain a few more pounds does not make us feel
reunions brings that feeling of communion

fullness
Just like me, the associates and their husbands and wives, feels like being in a family gathering, where we would prefer that the time pass by very slow
Luciana prepared with great care a Wine/Whiskey Tasting and, with the delicate and magnanimous heart as always, donated the drinks for this special Polio campaign event which we carry out and participate each year.

W H I T E H O U S E
Poliomyelitis still scares, and our Club considers it very important to collaborate and continue looking for alternatives in order to raise funds to contribute to this cause as an act of love
The delicacies prepared by each of us were really satisfying, Bernadete Zagonel took care of the sweets, Angelica Abram Blakely brought a delicious quiche in addition to a salad to give the perfect balance, Vera Schafer brought fruits and cheeses, Marli delighted with the pies and kibbeh. I settled on hummus/almond and a colorful and not "diet" fruit pie, many licked their lips.Francisco Pessoa being pragmatic brought a renowned Whiskey, much to the delight of the men who love the refined humor of our funny friend, who is a connoisseur of the universe of 'Spirits,' and also brought a wine appreciated by all
The group of associates was not large, but we had the presence of special guests and among them the porcelain doll called Sophia, a baby who brought a lot of grace to this divine party
Aloysia Vasconcellos had an emergency, Marina and Gustavo Couto missed an excellent meeting as well and when they see the photos without a shadow of a doubt they will silently think they can't miss the next meeting, but we only record them here so they know how much they were missed, we all know how busy they are.
The Heizer couple, for reasons also important with the governorship, missed this harmonious and well intentioned moment Janne Gesudo, who for personal reasons together with her husband were unable to attend and are mentioned with affection and we send positive energy for Janne's speedy recovery so we can have them with us soon.
In addition to the associates, we had the opportunity to meet the invited couples of the President, Bianca and Peter Fontenelle, Melanye Fontenelle, Sophia Serozini Fontenelle (baby)and Delmir Serozini, among them thecouple Rosagela and Luis Mattozo who recently arrived from Massachusetts
We were also happy with the presence of the futuremember Fagner Moutinho, he is pleasant and very excited which shows that he is determined to participatein this select group Luciana's idea, as always,is to keep everyone connected, as well as to put our Rotarian affairs in order, after all, each of us leads a busy life with so many commitments, it is good for everyone to count on these "relaxmoments" The first wine tasting that took place last year at the White House, with the same purpose, which anyone who remembers knows was a success Luciana our President "3D" decided to increase it even more this year, also including Whiskey tasting, everyone approved and each one of us "purchased numbers for the raffle "organized by the astuteLigia", an easy task to accomplish, as even the most well intentioned would like to have the numbers drawn in their hands, however, whoever won the spectacular box containing 3 imported whiskeys donated by the hosts, it was Sophia's "lucky"dad, who retired early Delmir Serozini confessed before leaving that he didn't know much about Rotarian actions, but he was happy to be part of a well intentioned moment, in this way participating in transparent moments where associates demonstrate how privileged and fortunate they are, which is in line with my conviction that, without a doubt, being a Rotarian is an acquired privilege, and he Delmir was the lucky one to have the most coveted award.
Engagement in Rotarian campaigns is always welcome, and for humanity it is of equal value, for those who receive the benefits is definitely a blessing, but in our meetings we bring to the attention of the guests how much we do good without looking at whom and this is contagious And we make the necessary clarifications of how much eradicating POLIO was and continues to be necessary
The second draw was the rose wine, which
once again was the most preferred of many, the rose, which in my opinion, has a highly refreshing nature that brings sympathy to the tasting, that attracts so many people to this style of wine and last night it was Mr Blakely "Bob" Angelica's husband who had the privilege of taking home this gem
Zoe, the furry daughter of Casal Beuke, always kind and playful, was very well behaved, like a princess that she is, and as always she bewitches everyone showing how smart and loving she is.

I don't know about the other partners, but I was already missing these White House meetings, what was clear is that everyone who was there knows how delicious it is to participate in a group of people linked by goals and dreams so similar and so important and being able to enjoy betweengood conversations, exquisite wines, flavors of diversified delicacies, hugs and bonds of this friendship is priceless, aware that at the end of the night, directly or indirectly, we will be touching lives, who do not necessarily know us or will know us, but through this affectionate act, we will be collaborating so that many lives are not visited by the hidden enemythat is called POLIO

May the success of the project that led Rotary to prioritize the eradication of polio remain firm and strong, and may each of us feel useful in this journey always remembering that together we are stronger
Having friends is too good, sharing projects, ideas, and a full table delights us, counting down the days to the next meeting

This is about summit learning opportunities to every Rotarian in Zones 33 & 34, and many Rotarians have already registered
Each session has been developed to showcase knowledgeable presenters and to assist Rotarians in developing programs, creating partnerships, and acting with impact

As a continuation of the Zone Impact Summit, we are bringing to you four (4) opportunities to delve more deeply into specific topics. Each of these initiatives are led by experienced, passionate Rotarians and you are invited to join the discussion, learn more about the issues and identify action steps for you, your club, or your district
