President’s Message August has been a busy month for the club. What with “Pinkathon” organized by our very able Ladies Committee pulled off a coup in organizing it in 5 weeks flat. We had a great Monsoon Nite and Joint Installation of Interact and Rotaract Clubs followed by acceptance speeches in individual schools. Its now time to move on to celebrate service projects. Lets do good and look around for new means to serve our communities. It pains me to experience that members of our club are unable to come out with newer ideas for serving the community. As we continuously look for bigger, bolder and brighter projects, I urge our members to look around and see what your fellow citizens need and discuss, analyse and do projects with a helping hand of our club. Its my earnest request to each one of you. Our Club is now registered with Roster on
Wheels, a super initiative to enable all Rotarians to get connected online and would be a wonderful tool for all of you to be connected. We have also initiated our members to get connected via Linked in and see many members getting connected. I again urge all members to connect with these online tools, so that you stay updated with each other and also with activities of the Club as well as Rotary International. As the year progresses, we need more willing hands, more caring hearts and more bright minds to move our work forward, which everyone applauds. I definitely think that our Club has skills, talent and character to make our community better. I request all our members to join us in doing that. Our Melghat project will be implemented in coming weeks and diagnostic camps followed by surgeries are being planned.
Complete overhaul of our website with many new features are being incorporated to make it self sustainable. I also see increased activities in some of our Global G r a n t s P r o j e c t s a n d Wa t e r s h e d Management projects. So, many good work by the Club to look forward to. -Alok Goenka
To Ponder... THE CURRICULUM IS SO MUCH NECESSARY RAW MATERIAL, BUT T H E WA R M T H I S T H E V I TA L ELEMENT FOR THE GROWING PLANT AND FOR THE SOUL OF THE CHILD..A TEACHER AFFECTS ETERNITY; HE C A N N E V E R S AY W H E N H I S INFLUENCE STOPS !!! In jest, my friend enquired the other day “ what do you get from your teaching career ? don't you get bored - the regular rigmarole of everyday.” And there I thought God 'she has definitely struck a wrong chord'- for its a topic on which I can berate her for her narrow perspective and personally write a thesis paper upon it. For the far distant viewers, teaching is a very unexacting and redundant profession with very little rewards. For me, rewards need to be redefined! returns or rewards for some mean monetary gains.,,.keeping
an eye on the new and updated pay scale commission and its whimsical changes. But the true payment is not materialistic at all . The reciprocation is wonderful! can you find a substitute payment for the devotion, attachment and approbation a teacher gets? The belief , the conviction the blind faith that a student has in his teacher. And in what profession besides teaching will the child come and touch your feet or will adhere to every word you say as if it is a law! For me , my rewards I have had and am having..just a simple call from USA from a student to say..” mam , my dream has come true..its all because of you that I am here today” or “ Mam your advices help me fight the demons in my mind” or “mam , when I am low down and lonely, your motivating words ring in my ears and I surge myself ahead.” its a blissful profession…being a
T E A C H E R … A F R I E N D ,PHILOSOPHER AND GUIDE.. A profession we should be proud of.. So a VERY HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY to all the teachers in our Rotary family. May we continue being the nation builders for the forthcoming generations and lead them to their paths of glory. -Durriya Akolawala

GHANANA GHANANA GHIR GHIR AYEE BADRA ---and there goes our very first monsoon fellowship with a Bollywood theme. Very well scripted and excellently executed by the able chairpersons Atul Gupta, Vinita Pasari, and Richa Sethi. We started with praying to the rain Gods for rains. As the Gods listened to our prayers we were blessed with good rains picturized stupendously on the LED screen matching every song .The scenes were scripted well to show the pleasure in the public eye as we descend from the state of drought to rains to the romantic mood of the public.

July 7th The whole show was mesmerizing with the participants expressing the joy as the Gods listen to their prayers. It was heart warming to see every participant taking immense pains in dressing up ditto like the characters in the original song. The first dance song ghanana ghanana was a kick start to the show where the participants enter the stage from the audience with full of vigour.. All age groups were involved, right from the Past presidents to the current President and also the children. As an audience not a single moment of the show was unnoticed. Each number was
choreographed with full energy. As we reached the end of the show the Taal team performed marvelously and with full energy plunged into the crowd and the whole Rotary Audience was dancing within a few seconds. It was mind blowing to see almost all 300 members dancing. We also had a special guest for the evening Ex model Mr Milind Soman, Iron man as he is called ‌but nothing dettered the crowd and they went on with their fun and frolic....au revoir till the next fellowship -Team Monsoon Fellowship

Meeting came to India. Gradually, those in Germany and China, were lost to the world as they were not allowed to pursue their own religion. Those who came to India, landed in Diu, where they lived in sheer poverty for almost 2 decades, till a priest saw a sign in the sky, which asked them to move. So they moved to Sanjaan, where they promised the king to merge with the locals as sugar with milk!
They adopted the Gujarati dialect, the Gujarati style of dress and started praying to the Sacred Fire. 300 yrs passed peacefully but in poverty. Then arrived the Europeans! The Dutch to start with. The Parsis, which they were now called, were a smart lot. They were educated and could converse with the Europeans. Their businesses grew. They built and sold ships, Traded Cotton. But their main trade
was selling Opium to the Chinese. Though illegal, this brought them a lot of money. The then Queen got the island of Bombay as dowry and a lot of Parsis moved to Bombay. They adopted, last names, according to their business and / or the place they lived in. The Parsis, could then indulge in property, cars and food! These continue to be their love in life, even today. But the one thing, the Parsis never forgot - was to GIVE! Even till this day, we enjoy, The Taj Hotels all over India and abroad, The Taraporewala Aquarium, T h e Ta t a M e m o r i a l Hospital to name just a few. The very word, Parsi brings to your mind, philanthropy, dhansak, vintage cars, pets, sprawling bungalows, beautiful furniture and of course the lovely garas and embroidered borders. Unfortunately though, this happy go lucky community is getting extinct! Rukshad Bhagwagar in his inimitable style shared this story at our regular meeting of August 11th. After the regular formalities, it was Rt. Ann Monica who introduced Rukshad, while Rt. Ann Meenakshi Sial proposed the formal vote of thanks. -Manju Shahani

3000 years ago, in a far land called Persia, now known as Iran, was born a saint, Zoraster. Zoraster was supposed to have met an angel, while wading across a river, when he was just 30.This angel told him about God. Before Zoraster, the Persians, were a confused lot and worshiped a lot of Gods or Ahuras, as they called them. It was Zoraster, who simplified religion and preached that there was only One God. He also spoke about an Evil force - the Devil. He inspired the people to help God fight the Devil by praying regularly. The people of Persia were God fearing and happy but very poor. Cyrus the Wise, ruled for a long time. He allowed the people to pray to whosoever they wanted. Women were educated and given equal rights. Even the UN recognizes the dicta of Cyrus as the then Bill of Rights. Then came the rule of King Darius. During this period, Persia was raided by Alexander the Great or Alexander the Accursed as the people of the land called him. Alexander, destroyed the land by burning it all down. Before the people recovered, came the Arabs, whose atrocities were beyond tolerance and almost 95% of the peace loving Persians had to flee from their motherland. They crossed the mountains and some went to Germany, some to China but the majority

TRF has identified specific causes to target, to maximize our local and global impact. At the same time, it understands that each community has its own unique needs and concerns. Through global grants and other resources, the foundation helps clubs focus their service efforts in the following areas: Peace and conflict resolution, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and sanitation, Maternal and child health, Basic Education and literacy, Economic and community development. Each month of the Rotary Calender, clubs focus their services in a particular area. The month of September is the Basic Education and Literacy month . What is TRF contribution in this field of service ?
TRF disburses grants to clubs to work for child education, child development ,adult literacy, teachers support, e-learning as well as Group Study Exchange(GSE) or vocational training(VTT) and scholarships. Group Study Exchange(GSE) now known as Vocational Training Team(VTT) GSE has been a very popular TRF program. We can proudly say that many of our Rotary members were earlier a part of this program and are today active Rotarians. Through this program they were inspired to give back to the society. In recent years, Vocational Training Teams were developed in TRF's New Grant Model to build upon our successful Group Study Exchange program. In VTT, the teams visit other parts of the world with an emphasis on training, either of themselves or of the communities they visit. The focus of the visit is around one area of work and training. These teams can be funded by from The Rotary Foundation. VTTs build on the Foundation's long-standing commitment to vocational training. Activities vary from one team to the next but may include training medical professionals on cardiac surgery and care, sharing best practices
Aug 25th on early childhood education, or explaining new irrigation techniques to farmers. District 3030 of which our club is a part is also trying to take advantage of such a global grant and is working on sending a VTT from our district to learn latest methods of water management and farming techniques to places with better know-how in this field. Such a VTT will in return help solve problems of our farmer-suicide hit communities and drought affected areas in our district thus improving the quality of life. Scholarships Grants from the Rotary Foundation fund scholarships for graduate and postgraduate studies in subjects related to one or more of the areas of focus of the Foundation: The scholarships are for study in a country other than that in which the candidate normally resides. Candidates should be planning to pursue a career also related to these areas of focus. In India, Rotarians have helped raise an amount of Rs. 3.07cr as of 31st July 2016, however grants disbursed by TRF are to the tune of 9.3cr. Three times more than what was given. This is the power of contributing to TRF......GIVE NOW. -Sapna Vastani

Recits de Voyage enough, as got to see the famous Flamenco dance by one of the best troops in the world. Our route stared off from (Spain) MadridGranada-Costa de sole-Marbella Having tasted the European elegance we moved further to Morocco. It has been on my wish list always, as far as I can remember. It was as if I have landed in the story of Aladdin or Tintin's adventure diaries. Soaked in fragrances of mint tea, Argon oil and culture, this place is certainly for the people who love to believe in legends and stories of prince and princess. Lucky to have a local guide by our side, we could indulge ourselves in local food, culture and history. Shopping in the old markets is a great way to explore this place. But remember to bargain and manage not to get lost or robbed. Morocco not only has camel rides in Sahara desert to offer, but also stunning beach cities, which has attracted many Hollywood legendaries like James Bond 007 to others. If you wish for more special treatment like God, say you are related to Shahrukh Khan!!

Goa come from. You will immediately feel related to this place and people. Wind mills, white-washed villages, blue water, sunny beaches, sandy sea breeze, they all tell you to feel lazy and laid back. Portugal is all about living easy and celebrating life. Play football with locals, indulge your taste buds in spices and sea food, drive around in local transport and you would want to live here forever. The moment you talk about Vasco Da Gama, you assure your brotherhood/sisterhood with that person. Absolutely friendly and picturesque, this country befriends Indians truly. Flavors of Europe Natural, picturesque, authentic, vibrant, this tour had literally all the colours of Europe as a beautiful painting. Being an avid traveler, I have always loved exploring the unguided paths, meeting locals, sharing their stories and tasting local flavours. Travelling with kids might slow down a bit of the whole journey, but I feel you cannot wait for the right age for them to come, as there is no such age! Three places with such varied culture, terrain, and weather, it's hard to believe they are neighbours. Starting off with Spain, driving down with my husband and two children, 15 day programme seemed too long. But the fear vanished, the moment we started approaching countrysides towards our destination. We had pleasure of visiting olive, cherry, almond and other fruit orchards along riversides. Southern Spain has premium long sandy beaches dotted with small beautiful fishing villages. Great architecture, beautiful castles, history, Victorian elegance add to the richness of this glorified country. Lucky

Aata Majhi Satakli HISTORY OR HER-STORY? Okay so Shobha De was made to eat her words by champions such as Sakshi and Sindhu. Okay so she was made the butt of jokes all over twitter and other social media. But has anyone ever given a thought to the possibility that maybe this was her way of egging womankind, especially Indian womankind, to achieve the impossible despite the seemingly insurmountable odds stacked against it in a country that suddenly found its “Betis” to have more b@**s than its “Betas”? Because this just wasn't a story of achievers. This was a fairytale of fantastic proportions where the underdogs, even in their own country, broke free of shackles their entire gender has endured since time immemorial. Since their births, they have a history of conquests and constant struggle. Right from the ultrasound that declared it was a “she”, to the overweight, unfit, selfindulgent sports officials who decided their sporting fate, they conquered all ... So it is no wonder they beat the competition to pulp when they stood in the way of glory! In a country where everything works despite the system, not because of it, these girls defeated odds from birth to victory. Allow me to list a few of the odds they faced....

On 12 th July Tuesday he visited Rotary Club of Ottawa West. They are one of the biggest club with 95 members and 35 committees. He exchanged flags with President Jean Begin and briefed about our club activities.
Youthful Yakkings learning, role playing, research and concept based teaching. To summarize, I would like to say that this exchange has made me a totally different person than what I was when I went for the exchange. Me - How would you encourage other students for the same? Nishka- I would definitely encourage students to take this opportunity because it was an experience like no other. I've grown so much as a person and I'd love to see them do the same. Jahnvi Jahnvi - If given a chance I would like to visit France, Germany and Italy. I would encourage the other students by sharing my experiences with the other students by way of presentations and by talking to them on different forums such as Rotary club meeting or orientation program for outbound students and school functions. Me - How were the host parents different from your family? Nishka- All my 3 host families were quite different in themselves and the equations I had with all of them differed a lot. All of them were very strict on me following the rules of rotary and treated me like one of their own if I failed to follow any rules of the house. I was especially attached to all 3 of my host mom's. They supported me in all I did I could confide in them. Jahnvi - The major difference which I observed was all of us would sit together and discuss our day and before the food we all prayed. We used to cook food for ourselves, help each other in doing the
work and the household work was always divided between all of us. They always treated me as a part of their family. There were no maids to help and therefore all the work was done by each one of us. Me - Any incident you would always remember.. Nishka - The various school level opportunities that I got while I was on exchange are ones I'd always remember.I played a field sport for the very first time and my lacrosse teammates became my family. We even became district champions and holding the trophy is one of my fondest memories. Jahnvi - The best memory which I will always remember is the 10 day long road trip which they had planned earlier but waited for me to join them wherein we all went to different places including the Grand Canyon. The whole family was there on our ride there we had a lot of fun, we were discussing about countries and their different systems and comparing them. Me - Any plans of visiting any other country for the exchange. Nishka - Now that I've come back and have met people from so many different countries I feel like I can go anywhere. My travel list is never ending and I wonder how my parents would finance my wanderlust. But as of now I just want to focus on my board exams. Me – Best Wishes for your future.

IYE STUDENTS INTERVIEW Had a chat with 2 Re-bound students (Long Term) Nishka Ajmera and Jahnvi Yashroy… Me - .Which country did you visit and what was the duration? Nishka Ajmera - I was in Oregon, USA for 10 months. Jahnvi Yashroy - USA and for Me weeks Me – How did you come to know about the program? Nishka - My dad (Dipesh Ajmera) is a Rotarian; he knew about the program and encouraged me to think about it. I had also seen a couple of my seniors go for an exchange and it inspired me to do the same. Jahnvi - I came to know about the program through the "Golden Orange" and through the members and the office bearers of the rotary club of Nagpur Me - Are you still in touch with your host family? Nishka - Oh yes i am, we keep exchanging emails and talk on FaceTime now and then. And i am especially close to two of my host sisters with whom i am connected on social media on a regular basis. Jahnvi - Yes,I am still in touch with my host family. We exchange emails, chat on facebook, talk on facetime and wish each other on special occasions. Me - How has the exchange benefited you? Nishka - Exchange has given me countless memories and unforgettable experiences. But most of all seeing so many different kinds of people I feel much more confident and outgoing and very adjusting. I feel I've got a wider perspective in general. Jahnvi - The exchange has benefited me by making me a confident and independent person. After being exposed to a totally new environment it taught me to be able to manage myself in such a situation and try and implement the 'Sanskars' imbibed from my parents, family and friends. I could also learn newer techniques of education after being exposed to the education system in that country which is quite different what we follow in India. There the emphasis is more on hands on

A book, if you believe, can change your life Every culture around the world insists on cultivating positive and healthy feelings since early childhood. Ever wondered why? We have often heard the phrase: “It's all in the mind”. But how many of us actually have tried to understand its meaning and implication. Well, I was one of them until I came across the book 'THE SECRET'. This book by Rhonda Byrne has changed and shaped life of

Ajinkya Saraf millions of readers across the globe. In this book, the author reveals a 'secret' which she claims to have been known for centuries, used by great achievers, applied by nobles and cherished by kings. In the words of the author, “It has been passed down through the years, highly coveted, hidden, lost, stolen, and bought for vast sums of money.” The very essence of the book is the importance of power of mind. It states that our mind has the capability to transform our life by thinking process. Everything that happens to us directly or indirectly is a result of our own thoughts. “Like attracts like”, meaning if we culture positive thoughts, positive things happen to us. The author explains this theory scientifically stating that our thoughts are magnetic waves and every person has a particular magnetic frequency, with which thoughts can be sent out to the universe, thus attracting like things and reflecting back to us. The author claims that prominent personalities such as Plato, Galileo, Beethoven, Edison, Carnegie and Albert Einstein over centuries have used 'The Secret'. Many
other great inventors, theologians and scientists have realised and used the secret to achieve success that would be talked about even after several generations. The book also helps us understand the importance of good deeds – the karma theory as we know it. It states that our deeds decide the course of our lives. The best part of all is that we are already aware of this. Consciously or subconsciously we have made some things happen by thinking about them. But it's the way in which the author explains every detail that hooks us to this good read. There are certain sections that do not believe this theory at all. But throughout the period when I was reading the book, I was nodding my head in approval of the theories discussed, realizing how true and appropriate each one of them is. All in all, it is a must read in order to discover our true self and to understand the power of greatest thing in the entire universe – our mind
Unsung Heroes He started a Ferro Alloy unit. The unit was still in its early stages, when it caught fire. The whole place turned to ashes. Naushad was in great depression. He had lost it all. A big investment, a partner, his bread and butter - all was gone. One day, on his way back from the MIDC, an inner voice guided his steps to the Untkhana. When there, he realised, what REAL problems of life were. He realised, how fortunate he was, to have a strong and complete body. He realised, What he HAD. His life changed. He started from scratch all over again, with a new zeal and new vigour. Today we all know, that he runs a successful business. But he has never forgotten to Count his Blessings! When, we all visit Hemalkasa, we help, in whatever way we can. Be it in the OT or the kitchen. The Langar or the school. This man, just keeps roaming around, by himself, taking pictures. When the rest of us come back, satisfied with whatever we did, Naushad's work begins. He identifies, a patient, who could not be operated upon, or who needed continued care or someone who needed to be treated in Nagpur. He takes it upon himself to do the needful. Tests, surgeries, treatment, medication, hospitalization, he manages it all. Thanks to Rotary and our Noble Rotarian doctors, Naushad manages to get them the required treatment at no cost to them. The doctors Do Not charge and whatever little he has to, he spends from his own pocket. He does this not only for
patients from Hemalkasa but also his work places, Katni, Bhandara etc. A lot of running around is required and with his busy lifestyle, this becomes difficult at times. So for the last 2 yrs. he has engaged a dedicated fellow, who does it all for him. A paid full time employee, Rahul, does it all sincerely and lovingly. He arranges food for the patient and his companions. A place for them to stay, all the medicines and whatever else is required. Close to their fire temple, lived a family on the pavement. The mother would take her daughters begging. Naushad and Tauby, convinced her that she could give her daughters a better life. They virtually adopted the 2 girls, put them in the Providence School hostel and they pay for whatever expenses. Tauby, is also very generous and has always supported Naushad in whatever he does. Naturally the genes have come to their kids. Both Chirag and Armaan have compassionate hearts. Chirag, helped a nearly blind man, set up a shed, all by himself and today that man has a successful business of seat covers. The Mantra this family believes - ' The more you give - The more you get'. Also you need this much and not more. I could write so much more.............. The world would be a wonderful place if we had more such families!

" In our world of big names, our true heroes tend to be anonymous. In this life of illusion, the person of solid virtues who can be admired for something more substantial than his well knownness often proves to be the unsung hero." Jovial and fun loving, friendly and helpful, this well versed Rotary Lord, is often seen with his camera, clicking pictures! But behind this happy go lucky, facade lies a heart which beats for the downtrodden. It was about 15 years ago. We were at a wedding reception. One of our Rotarians' son who was a spastic was also there. Everybody empathized and that was it. 10 minutes later I saw that the child was being fed ice cream! He had the boy in his lap and was patiently feeding him ice cream and wiping his mouth lovingly after every spoonful. I am talking about Naushad Bhagwagar! Somehow, that scene is etched in my mind, since. Hailing from a renowned Parsi family of the city, Naushad was exposed to philanthropy from a very young age. From the time he was a kid, he remembers his grandfather always giving and caring for the needy. His parents did the same. Still do, whatever and whenever they can. Caring for the underprivileged is like second nature to the family. As a kid, Naushad accompanied his grand father and parents but later got involved in other interests of the world - education, work, family etc.

Manisha and Anil Sawarkar Social service is not at all new for her. She has conducted many blood donation camps, surgical camps , free medical check ups under their family name, Sawarkars. Meet Manisha Sawarkar this tall, pretty and enthusiastic Rotarian. Daughter of an IPS officer, she has lived and studied in the interior most parts of Maharashtra. She is an athlete to say the least! A volleyball champion who has represented Nagpur University and has also played at the National level. (Yay for the lady athletes). She participates in Marathons, treks so we can safely say that sports runs in her blood. An M.Com graduate she left the numbers behind and is now pursuing her career in her next passion, interior designing. To be more specific she designs window curtain treatments and bed spreads. She met him on the volley ball field(where else right) and they fell In love. Anil Sawarkar her husband share the same passion for sports. To complete the family is her daughter Anoushka, who is studying Sports Psychology at Pune, and she in her own right is a champion swimmer. Manisha is absorbed in social service so much so that even their kitty party themes revolve around this instead of being just about food and chatter. Manisha has a lot of friends in our club and the primary reason for joining rotary is to give a bigger and better platform to pursue her endeavour for social service. Manisha and Anil welcome to our club where there is never a dull moment!!!!!

Harish and Monica Kriplani Harish Kriplani, one of our newer members is a businessman dealing in electrical goods trading. Introduced by Raj Shah, it took Harish two years before he actually joined Rotary for the simple reason that he wanted to be sure that he could dedicate time for the various projects and activities! It's like he almost studied the working of the Club and says that he's just in the infantile stage of understanding Rotary! He is taking it one step at a time, and his first step is to attend weekly meetings as regularly as he can. Working for rural development is one of his areas of interest, also he likes what the micro credit comm is doing, he sees himself involved in committees where there is rural upliftment. Harish is an engineer, done his BE in electrical engineering from Datta Meghe College. His life partner is Monica, who is an Arts graduate and has went on to do fashioning designing. They have two children Shrushti who is 15 and Manav- 10. Both study at the Centre Point School. Harish and both his children are a sports group, they love
tennis and squash and surprisingly not cricket. Monica is the silent spectator and supporter and not the player. She prefers devoting her time to her family and children! “Holi" was their first interaction with the fellowship part of Rotary, and they enjoyed it so much that Monica took part in this year's Monsoon fellowship. Good going!!!! Harish and Monica we look forward to seeing them in this large yet close knit family of ours!!!!!
On The Board During the tenure of PP Tauby he got involved with the Walkathon Project and thus understood the power of our club. The Walkathon was a Rs 2.5 lac project then with only around 1500 regist
rat ions .From 2.5 lac to 32 lac in 2016 has been Manish's vision and this is what he wants with other projects too. Manish Bhati has brought the Watershed Project under the purview of our club
which was a dire need of the hour. To understand and empathize with the farmers and bring a change in the life through Watershed Development program where according to statistics 10 farmers were committing suicides per day from the last 15 years due to failure in crop and debts. Actually we have lost more farmers than soldiers fighting against Pakistan. It is a development program which we are doing in association with Dilasa Sanstha and have given them a proper systematized way to doing the p r o j e c t e ff i c i e n t l y. T h e Watershed Project will bring about a huge change in the water table of the area assuring adequate water for irrigation. One should ''Connect with the Cause'' and bring innovative ideas, brainstorming and productivity to achieve the same efficiently with the set time frame. He believes RCN allows you to dream of a better society and the size of our club affirms that the dream looks achievable. The sheer energy in the club makes us want to do innovative things with the ideas that the members come up with. He appeals to all the members to come up with plans or ideas wherever they feel we should clout to bring about change in the society. We are with you Manish and wish you the very best in all your endeavors.

Manish Bhati "Work for a cause not applause, Live life to express not impress" This is my first impression of our present Club Secretary who is so elusive that rarely anybody would have seen him last year but his work speaks for him and makes up his absentia. Family of deceased Mrs. Sudha Pandit contacted Rtn Shiraz Doongaji through ad in Hitavada and their noble gesture to donate her eyes has given sight to two visually impaired people. Today evening Shiraz and me visited their residence and presented a memento as a gesture of gratitude for their kind deed. Another very encouraging news as regards organ donation. A young boy Satish Gupta sadly met with a road accident and his relatives contacted Rtn Shiraz Doongaji (once again through hitavada ad) to donate his eyes. However as Mahatme eye bank was approached we were informed that the boy has been declared brain dead and so Shiraz motivated them for Organ donation. After contact with MOHAN foundation and completion of legalities and required procedures Kidneys harvesting was carried out at O.C.H.R.I. RCN salutes the brave mother and family members for their magnanimous deed at this time of personal grief.
