President’s Message Fellow Rotarians, Every month we exhaust ourselves in projects only to find the strength to rise for another. Single-minded devotion with the desire to achieve another milestone, for the betterment of our club and community drives us, and it is this drive which is evident in the projects, events and activities month after month. And to make it happen, requires a team which shares the enthusiasm and dedicates itself to the cause, without fear of failure. Although, it may not be easy to find people who share your idea and passion for the activity you may desire, but if the cause is good one, is pleasantly surprised to find support from unknown quarters, and in the process you discover another friend.

Medical Service Breast Cancer Awareness Week Rotary Club of Nagpur participated with various other organisations in two different events on 14th and 25th October to create awareness on Breast Cancer. On 14th October; Academy of Medical Sciences in association with NOGS and ASN organized the PINK CME at Hotel Centre Point. A scientific session was conducted initially with stalwart experts Dr Sudeep Gupta; Director, ACTREC, Tata Cancer Hospital, Mumbai, Dr Mandar Nadkarni and Dr Hemant Tongaokar Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai who spoke on the current updates in managing breast cancer. The highlight was an interesting Panel discussion for general public about creating awareness of breast cancer in which 250 ladies and their family members participated. Rtn. Dr Meena Mishra was the Moderator and the panelists were Dr Subodh Gupta, Dr Sushil Mandhaniya, Dr Amol Dongre and Dr Murtaza. This Program was organized In association with PUBLIC AWARENESS SEMINAR Rotary Club of Nagpur, Lions Club of Nagpur Medicos, JCI Nagpur Medicos. Rtn Dr Harish Warbhe, Pres. Kapil Bahri and Hon Secretary Rtn Nilufer Rana graced the occasion. On 25th October " Breast Cancer Awareness” was celebratedin a very unique way in an EVENT: FLAVOURS OF HOPE; A fund raiser dinner at Hotel Radisson Blu. • 5 breast cancer survivors :Rtn. Dr Meena Mishra, Mrs Sunita, Archana Das, Anupama Pradhan and Khushboo took charge of “Radisson blu Kitchen” and prepared mouth watering dishes under the guidance of Radisson Master chef. PINK decorum was maintained to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. • Pink bangles were distributed free to all along with information regarding early detection of breast cancer. • Survivors were honoured and proceeds collected from RTN DR. ROTEX CLUB Team 2018 -19 RID 3030 ROTEX Club has recently been founded for District 3030; It acts as a social and support group for exchange students involved in Youth Exchange. DG Rtn. Rajiv Sharma graced the installation ceremony which was held on September at Hotel Centre Point. The ceremony was full of enthusiasm from the new committee members and Rotex members and received a lot of appreciation from the inbound exchange students of district 3030. The initiative was a success due to the support from the exchange committee of RID 3030. PRE DIWALI CELEBRATION AT ADASA OLD AGE HOME Festivity is in the air and Senior citizen committee decided to share it with 86 inmates of Adasa Old age home . On 19th October, 3 pm , the team started from Poonam Chambers to reach there in time for tea, coffee and light snacks. Since it was a Pre Diwali celebration, we decorated the place with rangoli, diyas and flowers. The whole place was looking ready to welcome our senior citizens. After Rtn Ragini Sahu welcomed all for the evening, Rtn Shweta Singh came up with innovative and interesting games, which the residents played with lots of enthusiasm. Prizes were distributed. For their entertainment, to add cheer to their otherwise monotonous life a Lavni dance had been organised. These artists from Nagpur presented solo and group dances on popular Marathi numbers. Everyone was cheering and

enjoying the show to the fullest. Our club members contributed wholeheartedly for the project. Rtns Hira Mulani and Rajan and Jaya Mulani brought navvari saris and pyjama kurta sets for all 86 members living there. Rtns Rina and Amitabh Sinha sponsored Sweet boxes. Rtn Maninder Singh donated toiletries; Rtn Davandeep Dhingra gave away towels and handkerchiefs, Rtn. Manoj Moryani donated fruits and Rtn Timmy Bawa distributed juices and Butter milk packs. A special dinner for the residents was arranged for by Rtns Neerja and Navneet Shukul. Grand finale was bursting of fire crackers : phuljhadis, anars and chaklis sponsored by Rtn Rakhi Bhutani. It was a beautiful and satisfying evening. Members then visited famous Adasa Temple followed by dinner hosted by President Rtn Kapil Bahri at a dhaba on our way back. 20 Rotarians and 7 IYE students attended the project. Organising a gratifying and huge project 50 km away would not have possible without active support of each and every member who attended the event. Our sincere thanks to all.

Enviromental Service Gorewada Wild Life Week The Only Forest Festival in the country is back in its second avatar. Celebrating the wildlife week with a view to preserve the flora and fauna and to bring the forest into the busy lives of the Nagpurians. Organized jointly by the Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra and the Rotary Club of Nagpur, Gorewada Forest Festival has created a place in the hearts of all nature loving Nagpurians. The first event of the festival was a forest run which was organized inside the 16 km track of the Gorewada Forest reserve. At the break of dawn, enthusiastic runners lined up to take part in the run that would take them through the verdant forests. Though there were more than 500 people, but the only sounds audible were the sounds of the forest. The gentle breeze with a hint of cooler temperatures delighted the runners as they ran through the forest tracks, seeing a peacock on one side and a startled deer on the other. The next event a couple of days later was yoga done at a clearing near the gate of the forest at 6:00 am. The meditation and the yogic kriyas were so much more soothing in the midst of serene surroundings.And the most exciting was the MTB cycle race and photowalk both of which started at the crack of dawn.The drone could actually catch the cyclists in action snaking through the forest and the lensmen trying to catch those fleeting moments.All throughout the week night safaris were conducted for enthusiastic nature lovers and some were lucky to have made a leopard spotting. The finale of the week was on Sunday 7th October, starting with a nature walk at the crack of dawn and in the evening FDCM OFFICIALS WITH THE PREZ followed with two events Jungalbandi and the Mowgli Parade, one for the kids and the other a musical extravaganza, a total festival and a carnival for the city at the Gorewada International Zoo. Little kids danced to the tune of the jungle book songs and the grown ups enjoyed the music competition..a beautiful finale to the most awesome Festival !! Youth Service 26th September 2018 New Team at Dinanath High School The incoming team was installed by President elect Rtn.Parag Paranjpe , Hon Secretary Rtn Nilufer Rana , Rtn Anjuli Minocha and Rtn Ritu Jaiswal. 29th September 2018 Installation of Rotaract Club of NIT Installation started with the lighting of traditional lamp and prayer. All dignitaries were welcomed by college management with gifting of plant saplings.IPP Ujwal Admane presented a report of last year’s projects. New board was installed; President of new team Shreyansh Shahu spoke of his future plans and the projects to be undertaken in the coming year. RCN President Rtn Kapil Bahri gave a motivational speech in which he briefed about Rotary as one of the largest social organization and the wonderful work done by Rotarian; this was followed by speech by Principal Dr Nilesh Singh Thakur who inspired the students to not only be good in studies but also in public life. PP Khushnoor Chugh oriented the students regarding ethics of Rotary and contribution of Rotaract clubs. Members present were Director Rtn Navneet Jain, Chairpersons Namita Sharma, Shweta Singh, Fatema Akolawala and Meeta Shaw. The function was conducted by Teacher in charge Dr Vijay Kalpande. Life skills Workshop A wonderful motivational life skill session was held at St Micheal’s School, Sadar on 13th October at 10 am by Rtn. Rajendra Jaiswal. The session was well attended and hugely appreciated.
Youth Service Rotaract Activities Dr. Ambedkar College 1 st October Rotaractors took up an activity to spend some time with the specially challenged children by conducting fun activities. College Band *The 20’s Tram* performed and entertained the children. Snacks were served to all children. A Drawing competition was organized for them and prizes distributed to winners. 2nd and 7th October Rotaractors volunteered in Gorewada Forest Run organized by Rotary club of Nagpur. 2 nd October DM IMS Rotaractors volunteered in the Gorewada Forest Run. They manned water stations and were marshals on the route.

THE SECRET TO WEIGHT LOSS President Kapil called the meeting to order and after the customary greetings & announcements the topic “How to lose weight effectively & quickly” was debated upon, Dietitian Meghana emphasised on the importance of diet in weight reduction and control. She was of the opinion that only exercise wouldn't give one the desired results; correct eating habits were necessary. Pinky Sheth of Mickey Mehta Fitness Centre opined that exercise is the best way to weight control and reduction.The session was moderated by Rtn Aniruddha Raich. 15 th October 2018 ‘SPAGHETTI WARS' WAS THE END OF THE GAME Presided by Pres Elect Rtn Parag Paranjpe and Hon Secretary Rtn Nilufer Rana, Weekly Thursday meeting held on 25thOct 2018 was a super entertaining one. Rtn. Zohra Master with her Partner Yogita proposed to the members, a game of creativity, skill, patience and above all Team work. The members in attendance were divided into groups of 5 members. All the teams were given 18 spaghetti sticks, a reel of tape, a reel of thread and a piece of delicious looking marshmallow each (which they were not permitted to eat).The teams were given a challenge to create a selfbalancing structure using the fragile spaghetti sticks and the tape and thread as reinforcements and the marshmallow had to be placed at the Top of the structure. The team creating the tallest structure in 18 minutes of given time slot were declared as the winners. Some succeeded, some failed. The structures were a representation of our attitude towards life itself. How sometimes our fragile selves are not able to balance the GEETA RAO AT SOUTH POINT SCHOOL weight of our ambition represented by the marshmallow on top and the importance of our support system, our family and friends as represented by the tape and thread to which the structure was attached.The team comprising of Rtns Nakul Malani, Parag Date, Ragini Sahu, Davandeep and Dr. Grishma Dhingra won and was applauded ( with little bitterness if I may candidly say so)The game brought about child like enthusiasm in all the participants and one thing which was common to all the Rotarians in the room was, if the structures represented “Life” however big or small, pretty or not, broken or mended, Each one was in love with their own. Badminton Tournament The First Inter Rotary Club Badminton Tournament was organised under the aegis of Prem Raj Gupta Memorial Inter Rotary Badminton Doubles Tournament on Sunday 28th October at Subhedar Hall. Inauguration was by the hands of DG Rtn Rajiv Sharma, DGN Rtn Shabbir Shakir and President RCN Rtn Kapil Bahri. 60 players from 8 Rotary clubs participated with teams from Nagpur and Yavatmal. The various categories were Mens and Ladies Doubles and Mix Doubles. The organising team led by directors Rtns Rajiv Javery and Navneet Jain and chairpersons Rtns Harshit Jain, Parag Date and Nitin Alshi did a commendable job in “making Sunday a Funday” INAUGURAL CEREMONY We are grateful to Chief Sponsors Mr. Rakesh Gupta and Mrs. Rashmi Dhar and to Lakshmi Sports of Rtn Bhawna Arora for the shuttle cocks.

Diwali Fellowship Punjabi Dhamaka Diwali Fellowship was held at Hotel Centre Point on 21t October with Punjabi tadka as theme. At the onset a group of Rotarians with dholwale lead by President Kapil set the mood for the celebration. This was followed by Jago dance, Gidda & Bhangda performed by our Rotarians and Rotary anns. HB team of artists performed the traditional Punjabi dances and got the gathering together on the dance floor.Traditional Punjabi Boliya were sung on dhol for board members, past and present . The team left no stone unturned to bring full Punjabi swag on the floor that night. Team worked tirelessly day and night under the guidance of Chairpersons Rtns Sonia Khurana and Rakhi Bhatia. KARMADAAN The Rotary Foundation Seminar was held on Sunday 14th October at Hotel Ashok, Laxminagar. Rotary Club of Downtown was the lead club. Rotary International Director Elect Kamal Sanghavi graced the occasion. In his address he stressed upon continuing to contribute to the Rotary Foundation irrespective of the fact that our District 3030 was banned from receiving Global Grants. DGN Rtn Shabbir Shakir spoke on Stewardship; he specified that there should be transparency in the application, which would not invite any queries etc from the RI. Rtn Ashok Mrig spoke about Global Grants; he highlighted the fact that RCN has to date completed 23 Global grants; the highest in District 3030. The last one being the watershed project at Yevatmal, which has paved the way for many other NGOs too to take up this initiative to help solve the water crisis in the region and provide some relief to the farmers. Our club was represented by 15 members actively participating in the session.

Musings and Meanderings Grief is Grief I read posts on Instagram from folks after losing their pet. “I have no words or tears to describe how much she meant to me. May she run free with the pack of cats that are already waiting for her in cat heaven.” Another paid tribute to her dog who once jumped into the Hudson River and swam a quarter of a mile just to join her on a paddleboard. “I cried that day at how much he loved me. And, today I’m crying because of how much I loved him,” she wrote. When a pet passes, it may be expected that we downplay our grief. After all, it's not like you lost a member of your family or a best friend. Except...you kind of did !
Pets provide us with something invaluable . It’s unconditional love. They don’t judge you, they immediately forgive you, and they make you feel good about yourself because there is this sense of Ilove-you-for-who-you-are . In a world where we’re constantly judging ourselves and unfortunately, as a result, judging others—it is such a unique and special relationship to have. It’s now a few days since my little Tom cat departed this world for the great litter box in the sky and yes, things are improving. I still expect him to show up at the cat bowl like nothing is wrong and my mind tricks me into thinking I can hear him meowing occasionally, but you know what they say about time’s great healing powers. Right now, I’m hoping it will heal.
Our pets become a part of ourselves. They connect with us, they comfort us, they don’t talk back to us, they don’t complain; sure, they may whine a little...but they’re really there for us when we need them.
Grief is a normal reaction to a loss. If you lost something important, it’s expected for you to grieve. I miss my little Misha a lot.

Rotary Flash Back When Things Were Done King-size !! The District Conference of our late PDG EC Eduljee was held in Hyderabad in the year 1952-53, just 8 years after the formation of our club in 1944. DG Edul managed to get the then sitting RI President Bru Brunnier and his wife to come for the conference !! They graciously accepted the invitation and were taken to the conference in true regal style seated on an Elephant’s back!!The First Lady of RI in that year was none other than Ann Brunnier, whom we have referred to before as one of the two original Anns from whose names the term Rotary-Ann was emerged! If Edul Eduljee could get the Amriki incumbent RI President to come for his conference, there’s no reason why we can’t have our Desi RI President Sushil Gupta come for DG Nominee Shabbir’s Conference in 1920-21 ! On The Board Successful people are not gifted, they just work harder. This line truly applies to one of our own. It was a real pleasure to spend time, meeting and interviewing this Rotarian. He joined Rotary 4 years back. His dedication, determination and always ready to help attitude projected him towards the position of Director. He dislikes injustice, casualness and lethargy in the organization and was appropriately nick-named 'The Angry Young Man' of our club. I am sure by now you all must have guessed who I'm talking about. He is our very own Rotarian, Navneet Jain, Director of Service lV (Youth and Community Service ll). Navneet is a true Cancerian. Born on 15th of July, he is generous, compassionate and the most reliable person you will ever meet. Our C.M. Mr. Devendra Fadnavis was lucky to do his schooling from the same school as Navneet Sarasvati Vidyalaya. After grooming at Hislop College, he completed his B.E in Mechanical Engineering from YCCE in the year 1996. Immediately after finishing his studies, Navneet started 'Reliable Minerals' which dealt in trading of minerals. Being a multitasker, he is also a Registered Portfolio Manager at Angel Broking Ltd. However, Navneet's charisma is completely over shadowed by his better half, the queen of the palatial Jain mansion - Archana Jain. Archana hails from Raipur and got married at a very rightful age of 19. She was blessed to be married to a liberal and broad-minded husband and in a family who not only encouraged her but also supported her to complete her graduation with a B.Com degree. Business runs in her blood too and now Archana is running a successful clothing line from home. The Jains are blessed with 2 beautiful, dutiful and studious daughters Arshyia and Ania. Arshiya, just like her dad is very
active in her Interact Club of Centre Point School, Katol Road and is also a Director of Vocational Services. I learnt from her that she is working for IAYP i.e. International Award for Young People. It is the most adaptable and successful youth empowerment program. Navneet is not just about business, family and rotary. He is a well-rounded personality, plays badminton, table-tennis and loves flying kites. He is a well-travelled guy who has travelled and seen the soul of our country and as a big time foodie has also tried new cuisines and dishes. That explains why he is such a good cook! Now guys, the angry young man is not just a theory as I was amazed and zapped when I heard about his passion and I bet so will you be. “Air guns�! Yes, you read it right. He has a vast collection of air guns which shows his passion for shooting. So here comes the warningPlease don't mess with our Director. All said and done, his dedication towards Rotary is reflected through the awards he has won since his induction which includes Best Rotarian award under 3 years in 2017 and Best Couple award above 3 years in 2018. When asked about his goals as a Director, he emphasized on quality of projects over the quantity. As a director he wants to involve more new members so that they get the opportunity to learn and understand the events and projects. His vision for the growth of our club is that it should grow independently, fearlessly and monumentally. A democratic model. Col. is full of moral based ideas and stories which he has gathered in his army tenure from 1971 to 2002, as Vetenary Doctor.He has participated in Bangladesh war in 1971,stayed in field in Nepha, China border, Kargil,Leh and other India-Pakistan borders.Col.comes from Satna in Madhya Pradesh. He migrated to Nagpur after retirement and to keep up the good work of giving back to society joined Rotary and our Club in 2017-18.He is very active and gives talks on Life skills to lead a good and balanced life. He is fond of talking and interacting with children .Has conducted International exchange for youth when in army and is proud to see the participants doing very well in life with the experience of cultural exchange.His hobbies are Travelling, Singing,Playing Golf and talking to Children.His wife a perfect companian,is a homemaker and a lovely cook who makes delicious dishes apart from daily cooking. CA Rajiv Chand is the Promotor of the bGeneral Eduinfra Pvt.Ltd and has more than 14 years of expertise in Cost Optomisation...ie improving efficiency,controlling cost for various Industries,Corp orates,and educational Institutions.He was inducted as a member in 2017-18.He chose to join Rotary Club Of Nagpur,as this is the oldest club and finds it to be very organised and systematic....compliments.He has already participated in few fellowships and enjoys them alot. He is desirious of involving himself with the service for needy and underpriviledged projects of the club.He believes in being Fit and that is his hobby. He expressed that there should be more sports related activities for members which will help them keep fit and young at heart all time. His wife Meena is an Advocate and practices in High Court since past 20 years. She deals with family court matters to Prevention of sexual harassment at work place or in society. She conducts programmes for general awareness.They are blessed with two children. Son Ishaan is 12 years old and quite interested in Science.Daughter Soumya is 5 years old and very active and interested in cultural activities. both study in BVM.Both Rajiv and Meena aspire to be real Rotarians and not just members.

Sidharth is a Commerce Graduate and is the Managing partner for their firm Khosla Engineering. He belongs tyo Nagpur and has been trained to help society from very young age as active member of LEO club.He has been in BJP Sports cell.He has conducted Swatchta abiyan and programmes for specially abled children with various organisations. His reason for joining Rotary is to Give back to society. He joined our club as he finds it to be one of the most active rotary clubs in city and very systematic and disciplined.His hobbies are Travelling and Fitness. he is also a sportsperson and has been to Alaska and Everest Base camp.Sidharth and Bhawana are blessedv with a Son,Dev. He is 12 years of age and plays very good football. he has also represented on International level. to add Little Dev is an ardent Reader. Rann. Bhawana is MA in Sanskrit and English. She supports Sidharth in his factory. Her hobbies are painting and reading.She is interested in the service projects of our club and is ready to participate and contribute in any best way.

Vinod is Works Director at Raymonds LTD.and stays in Raymonds colony in Sausar.He commutes daily to his Nagpur office at Civil lines.The couple belong to Kerala but now have become pure Nagpurians as they wish to settle in Nagpur post retirement.This is one of the reasons for joining Rotary.Rotary means meeting people,and working together for social upliftment of underprivileged,for them. Vinod is happy to have joined our club as He says there are few people and organisation to be with in nearby areas of Nagpur. He being so far from city makes sincere efforts to attend regular meetings sometimes but is hopeful to devote more time in projects in future.His hobbies are Reading, Travelling and watching movies.They have Two children.Elder daughter Sneha is a MBA and is working in Mumbai.Their younger son Anish is a Civil Engineer with MBA and is working in Barodara.Ajita Is a home maker.She is very active and social ..and an expert Cook ,loves gardening and now is interested in making new friends in Rotary to work together in social work.

I experienced my first Rotary Monsoon Fellowship on Sunday the 9th of September 2018 at Hotel Ashok, it was Such a mesmerizing show of colours and team spirit with so many people participating to perform both dances as well as sung songs. I made so many new friends and met many acquaintances but the star of the show was the Kids’ dance which was so well presented, I too wish to perform like a star kid one day.I truly had agreat time. Thanks to Rotary Club of Nagpur for organizing such a wonderful colourful event looking it was such a beautiful musical evening. Thank You... Rotary Club of Nagpur !

Travel’ure MESMERISING MEMORIES Trek to the Valley of Flowers and The Hemkund Saheb Gurudwara Continued from the last issue..... Day 4 - Every morning our ‘Chai’ expert Alok used to prepare refreshing ‘Adrak,Dalchini wali Masala Chai’ for all of us. After having Chai-Nashta, we all got ready with our trekking gears for trek to the Valley of Flowers. The Valley is a natural bliss, a heaven on earth and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora. We were on cloud nine and wondering that how on earth could nature be this beautiful and that too without any human efforts. It is declared as a National Park. Valley usually opens for tourists in the mid of may & closes in last week of September. This day also we did a total trek of about 15 kms. After reaching back the base camp, we all were again in the queue for the father-son’s foot massage service. Haha!! Day 5 - Next day we had planned for Hemkund Saheb Gurudwara, the highest in India at 14500 feet from the sea level. It was a real uphill task but actually worth the climb. Some of us took a holy dip in Hemkund Saheb Lake which was freezing cold and I was the one to initiate it!! Uui maa.. the water was spine chilling!! After watching me still alive the remaining males gathered the courage to experience it. After which we had the sumptuous prasad of garma-garam khichdi & hot chai. We had Darshan at the Gurudwara. The soulful chants grips you and fills you with devotion and you just don’t feel like asking anything more from life. Thrill, spirituality and peace of mind; I had a rare mix of feelings. At the end of the day every part of my body was aching after the irksome walk and yet I was encompassed by a sense of calm and fulfilment after all I had trekked to Hemkund Saheb! One thing was very much appreciable on the entire trek, we could see the best efforts put in by the administration for practicing Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. The plastic products here had already been banned 8 years ago. The trekking routes are clean & the washrooms too are kept very clean and hygienic. Day 6 - Last day of our trip, the weather was clear and we had an option of taking chopper ride back to Ghangharia, where our taxis were waiting for us. Fortunately the helipad was just 200 meters from our tents… hum sabki nazaron se nazrein mili & everyones’ eyes were saying pls pls pls no more walking, lets go back by helicopter ! Finally we got our boarding passes. To our surprise the ride to Govindghat was of just for 4 to 5 minutes; which took us 7 hours to climb. Day 7- After a drive from Govind Ghat we took a night halt at Kirtinagar, which is halfway from Govindghat to Dehradoon. As our trekking expedition was coming to an end, we spent the last evening recalling the funtimes we had on the trek. We took an evening flight from Dehradoon to Nagpur. This was a trip that will be with me for my lifetime. It was truly soul rejuvenating and gave me lovely bonding opportunities with friends and beautiful yet challenging experiences which dared me to test my limits. I may sound a bit filmy but being a Bollywood fan I would like to add my favourite movie dialogue: Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor): “Kahin pe pahunchne ke liye kahin se nikalna bohot zaruri hota hai”. So friends if possible try it once coz ZINDAGI NAA MILEGI DOBARA ….. Aur ye yaadein mithai ke dibbe ki tarah hoti hai … Ek baar khula toh sirf ek tukda nahi kha paoge.

Vocation Tell-A-Tale So seeing myself as a professional photographer is not something I dreamt about or even thought about, it was just one of those things that happened and so has everything since then. I am a visual storyteller which basically means that I make photo stories, other than that I am an Architectural and Interior photographer which is a lot of fun. Even though I do have creative freedom and it is a means for me to express myself as any given day I would prefer to be behind the camera with 20 people in a room than without it, but there are still some rules to abide by specially in photo documentaries and obviously client briefs are specific and to be followed but don’t let that stop you from exploring things for yourself as you can always do both. Photography is not much different from other professions, it is very difficult at times like every other thing worth having. I personally have faced a lot of difficulties getting to where I am right now and it’s not even half way through my goal, but even with all that photography is a part of who I am, it is what I do, what I am fairly good at and it’s just me in a way. Photography is a very vast field and you never know what might be your thing so I suggest try everything and anything, don’t be scared to fail or make bad photographs because that is how one learns. I myself have made some fairly embarrassing sets of work which are in some deep dark corners of my hard disk but I learned and really grew from them. People think that everyone with an Iphone is now a photographer but I don’t believe that. I do believe that one’s vision trumps equipment because what good is equipment worth lacks if you have no vision. So do make photographs, make them constantly but know why you’re doing it.
