ROX MAGAZINE
EDITOR’S WELCOME
editor’s WELCOME A s the nights begin to grow darker (much to my disappointment) so too do the pages of this AW19 ROX Magazine. In this latest offering we take a trip down memory lane to the glory days of Queen, The Beatles and Ozzy Osbourne. Except there’s one small twist, we’re in the 21st century and the rock star is a woman. Gone are the days of women being prim and perfectly pretty, we get into the nitty gritty edge of a woman that we all possess (after a few cocktails or two!) The ROX Star is the woman who swims against the tide, speaks freely and leads the way with great purpose - much like ROX itself - in the most stylish of fashion of course. We strip it back from your usual Christmas party glamour adding an essence of good girl gone bad to this issue's pages, because who doesn’t favour the sarcastically witty rogue in every movie? That's not all... We trend forecast this winter's hottest catwalk trends, meet real ROX couples and fall in love with their very own ROX fairytale, meet our designer Joanna Perrera who chats
all things jewellery and get to know Cosmic, the new high jewellery collection by ROX. We also brave the winter temperatures with street style blogger Lauren Grace and get tips on wedding dress shopping from industry expert Mirka Jankowska, and breathe. This issue signifies 10 stupendously thrilling years of the ROX Magazine, and what a decade it’s been. From the humble beginning in 2009 up until the glossy pages of our 2019 edition, it has been evolving with ROX year on year. Every year better than the last, every issue better than the last. The pages have held monumental memories over the last 10 years showcasing marvellous events with both customers and ROX Stars themselves. With that, I welcome you to delve into this nostalgic issue and enjoy all that it has to offer. Let’s raise a glass to 10 incredible years and raise a glass to your inner ROX Star.

THE BIG ONE OH!
ROX MAGAZINE
THE BIG ONE OH! This year, ROX Magazine celebrates a game changing decade of diamonds, timepieces, thrills and spills (where, luckily, the only spills were the odd glass of Moët…) words by Laura McCreddie-Doak
It’s hard to fully describe the shock and amazement I felt walking into the ROX Thrill Room in Glasgow for the first time. I was new to both retail and jewellery – the wet-behindthe-ears editor of UK trade bible Retail Jeweller, trying to learn about this complex new world. A decade ago, when jewellery or watch businesses would proudly show you to the part of the store reserved for customers who were going to splash more cash than the average, you’d have been lucky to find a Nespresso machine in there. And here were ROX co-founders Grant and Kyron gesturing expansively around a space that had more in common with world-leading luxury hotels. Natural light spilled in from the stained-glass windows above, catching the diamonds sparkling in display cabinets dotted discreetly about the space, which, along with acres of plush seating boasted a bar stocked seemingly with the most bottles of Moët & Chandon seen outside of Epernay. It was elegant, decadent and completely original. “We got the idea on a trip to a Munich trade fair in February 2009,” explains Kyron. “We had the perfect check-in experience. Instead of standing at the check-in desk, as soon as we arrived our group was seated on sofas in the lobby and offered a glass of champagne to relax. The check-in paperwork was brought to us to sign and our bags seamlessly brought to our rooms without having to ask who’s bag was who’s (I asked how they knew – they said they read the luggage tag!) “It made us made us re-think our selling experience, so instead of sitting 16
www.rox.co.uk
at a desk or counter, we came up with the Thrill Room lounge concept. We made a bold statement by devoting more space to lounge seating than display – everyone thought we were mad at the time.” Of course, it’s not all fur coats at ROX – the knickers are most certainly in place, with the finest-quality jewellery first and foremost. Its everexpanding and highly experienced team hand-select every pristine diamond for its scintillation, sparkle and above all beauty to create truly beguiling and mesmerising designs. From show-stopping collars that command attention in any room to effortlessly romantic engagement rings or a contemporary silver design, each perfectly crafted piece captures the essence of ROX’s ‘diamonds and thrills’ mantra. Not content with transforming the face of jewellery and watch retail, ROX has also ploughed its ethos and dynamic style into the world of print, by launching a magazine; the parent of what would become ROX Man and ROX Woman. “In this digital world, I think readers do still love magazines,” says Kyron, when asked why he went into publishing 10 years ago when everyone was predicting the death of print. “It is a visually appealing medium and also the opportunity to present the ROX lifestyle, with our unique tone of voice.” Of the numerous amazing covers that have graced the magazine over the past 10 years, Kyron cites the first cover star, Scottish model Amanda Hendrick as a special one especially as
this AW ROX Magazine goes full circle re-inventing ROX STAR for 2019, but he also takes credit for bringing the bearded hipster north of the border with ROX Man’s first cover featuring supermodel Chris John Millington and also for spotting a little-known bollywood actress Amy Jackson back in 2014 who has become a phenomenally successful actress with 7.7m Instagram followers to her name. It isn’t only the magazine that has been graced with celebrity. The Thrill Room is regularly used as an event space, hosting soirees for Scotland’s celebratti. But there was one that really stood out… “I will never forget Emeli Sandé playing an acoustic set in our Thrill Room in Glasgow in December 2011,” says Kyron. “After a chance meeting with her manager at the Scottish Style Awards, the stars aligned for us that December. I invited her to perform and she made time in her schedule on the very same night she was supporting Coldplay at the SEE Hydro. “The hairs still stand up on the back of my neck when I imagine that voice. Then, six months later she opened the Olympics in London.” A full seven years after that, and ROX’s star remains in its ascendancy. With identically opulent boutiques in iconic locations spanning Scotland and the north (at the time of writing, Liverpool ONE was about to join a roster boasting Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle and Leeds), plus the likes of Audemars Piguet, Hublot and Zenith populating the wristwatch vitrines, it appears the Moët will be flowing for many more decades besides.

At first glance, Serena Williams and Audemars Piguet don’t seem to be natural bed fellows, but it’s actually a relationship that makes more sense than you think. Words by Laura McCreddie-Doak.
S
he moves around an empty space, firing shots back to an invisible opponent, all power, muscle and focus. The words she is speaking are those of Rudyard Kipling taken from his poem “If”, a stanza of which is inscribed above the entrance to Wimbledon’s hallowed Centre Court. If it wasn’t powerful enough seeing a woman of colour transform the words of a white racist just by speaking them, it is the gender switch of the final line to “you will be a woman, sister” that sends shivers. It is such an inspired piece of film-making that you barely notice the watch on her wrist until Audemars Piguet’s oft-quoted slogan “To break the rules, first you have to master them” appears on screen. Serena Williams has been a force of nature since she came to everyone’s attention by beating her sister Venus in the 2002 Wimbledon final. This wasn’t just the fluke win of some ingenue – Serena had been playing tennis since she was four, gradually working her way up through the satellites using a 1995 wild-card entry to circumnavigate
age-eligibility rules taking part in the Bell Challenge in Quebec when she was just 14. “I started tennis super early, when I was three or four,” she says. “The training part I really excelled at because I felt like I wanted to be better and I know it takes repetition but I kind of enjoyed repeating and repeating and repeating.” That repetition has certainly paid dividends. Since her first professional singles title in 1999, when she beat French tennis star Amélie Mauresmo to win the now-defunct Open Gaz de France, she has racked up 39 major titles including 14 in women’s doubles and 23 Grand Slams, giving her the record for the most Grand Slam tournament wins in the Open Era. A term that refers to the current era of professional tennis that begun in 1968 when amateurs were allowed to compete alongside professionals, ending a divide that had existed since the origins of the sport back in the 19th century. Serena has earnt $29m in prize money to date and in 2019 was ranked 63rd in Forbes’s World’s Highest-Paid Athletes List; more importantly she

was the only woman out of 100 men. “I wanted to win multiple grand slams and to prove to myself that I could reach higher goals,” she explains. “I always like to look back and see ‘Ok. I served good, I moved well. But how do I improve? If I did good, how do I do better?’” It is this constant challenging and questioning that makes Serena the ideal ambassador for Audemars Piguet. That, and her willingness to break an (unwritten) rule by actually wearing

challenging the idea that dress watches are just for cocktail by sporting the rather formal-looking rose-gold Millenary complete with diamonds on the lugs and bezel and very unsporty alligator leather strap. However, the best Serena/Audemars Piguet moment, and the one that illustrates why she is the perfect ambassador for this storied yet still rebellious brand, has to be 2017’s Met Gala, which celebrated the work of legendary Comme

BUT HOW DO I IMPROVE? IF I DID GOOD, HOW DO I DO BETTER?’” a watch while playing; something few men do unless the watches are superlight, like Rafa Nadal’s trusty Richard Mille. Her watch choices on court are as bold as her outfits. For Wimbledon 2016, she wore an all-white (natch, you don’t want to break those sorts of rules) Royal Oak Offshore in quartz with a diamond bezel. Being able to accurately fire off a 128mph serve wearing some serious horological hardware wasn’t the most remarkable thing. Eagle-eyed watch lovers over at online magazine Deployant noticed the crown was at nine o’clock; a modification Serena had requested especially. The 2017 Australian Open saw her
des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo. Serena accessorised her sumptuous emerald green Versace gown with an Audemars Piguet secret watch. But not just any secret watch – she was sporting the spiked sensation that is the Diamond Outrage. 48 spikes covered in 9,923 brilliantcut diamonds and 354 baguette-cut diamond totalling just over 66cts. It was bold, beautiful and powerful. Just like the woman herself.

Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele has garnered a reputation for creating clothing, jewellery and watches that are unlike anything else. Laura McCreddie-Doak looks at this mercurial magpie’s history and influence.
H
eads as handbags, advertising campaigns featuring Greek gods alongside punks or Hollywood icon Tippi Hendren as a glamorously unsettling fortune teller, watches based on the front section of a skateboard – this is the weird and wonderful world that Alessandro Michele has created at Gucci. In keeping with the creative director’s magpie instincts, it is one that spans centuries, cultures and disciplines taking in everything from the Byzantine-style mosaics and frescoes of Rome’s Basilica di San Clemente and the flamboyant costumes of Bob Mackie who famously made Elton John’s outlandish stage outfits to Mickey Mouse, the graffiti of now-collaborator Gucci Ghost and the works of French literary theorist and noted semiotician Roland Barthes. Speaking to Another magazine back in 2018, he tried to explain how he managed to curate this strange Paradise. “My Gucci universe is inclusive. It fragments to recreate in a contemporary way. It tries to achieve chemical effects through the use of
different agents. It is a possible universe that sometimes uses an impossible language. I like being in this universe because it gives me more possibilities.” Michele, a man from Rome whose father was a technician for Alitalia and whose mother assisted a film executive, started to give free reign to these possibilities back in 2015 when the-then creative director Frida Giannini, with whom Michele worked at Fendi and under whom he was head of accessories, left abruptly. Her unscheduled departure left the newly-promoted Michele and the design team just five days to present a brand-new men’s collection. Described in Vogue’s Runway by Tim Blanks as “looks that will undoubtedly enflame anyone who carries a torch for Gucci’s jet-set legacy”. Gone was the slick, preened wealth of the Giannini era, replaced instead with androgynous models in pussy-bow blouses, brocade coats and grandma knits that could quite easily have been stolen from their girlfriend’s wardrobe. Months later he repeated the magic with his womenswear collection. Every seat had on it

a quote from the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben: "Those who are truly contemporary are those who neither perfectly coincide with their time nor adapt to its demands… Contemporariness, then, is that relationship with time that adheres to it through a disconnection." The new Gucci woman was, according to Nicole Phelps on Vogue Runway, an “ingenue with an eccentric side, one who looks as though she’s picked out her clothes at estate sales and vintage stores, and mixed them, magpie style with handfuls of heirloom 80

rings, chunky rimmed glasses, the occasional pompom hat and fur-lined horsebit loafers. Given that the accessories were as much a part of the final look as the clothes – Michele himself is a lover of jewellery, he sports ornate rings on every finger and even turned Harry Styles into the Boy with the Pearl Earring for this year’s Met Gala – it was only going to be a matter of time before Michele turned his attention to Gucci’s jewellery and watches. What a difference a year made. Gone were the bamboo bezels, horsebit bracelets and bland, dainty watches. It its places was the gorgeously fantastical Le Marché des Merveilles collection. Loosely translated as “the Market of Wonders” this certainly was a magpie’s delight. Hearts, stars, bees and lions adorned bracelets, hung from pendants and replaced indices on watch dials. The pieces were romantic, fun and full of hidden symbols – the bee is considered by some cultures to be a sacred insect that bridged the natural world to the underworld, and which, in Rome is the symbol of the Barberini dynasty, who were powerful in the 17th century. Its accompanying woozily shot campaign of ethereally beautiful girls resembled a group of bohemian aristocrats staging an impromptu production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in costumes raided from Granny’s attic – it was most certainly a gang you wanted to join, even if the only way of doing that was buying a necklace. Michele even found the perfect poster girl for this new incarnation: Florence Welch, who, with her eccentric opulence and otherworldly stage presence, was the ideal muse. Gucci’s ready-to-wear has continued to be entwined with its watches and jewellery, with the brand being one of the few to actually preview these accessories on the catwalk. It is a move that has seen Nato-style straps embroidered with the slogan “L'Aveugle Par Amour” (or blind for love), which featured heavily in the SS17 ready-to-wear lines, decadently floral G-Timeless watches echoing the sumptuousness of its Fall line and this year, echoing Michele’s fascination

with 1970s skateboard culture – the unisex Gucci Grip watch. Its unusual “weighing scale” case shape is inspired by the front section of a skateboard with strap options ranging from forest green to hot-pink snake skin. “My aesthetic philosophy is an uninterrupted flow,” Michele said to Vogue in 2018 about his approach to accessories. “This is no distinction between old and new things but there are only beautiful things.” The next beautiful thing on his list is his fine jewellery range, which has also warranted the opening of a standalone jewellery store on Paris’s famously luxe Place Vendôme. Unsurprisingly given, Michele tendency to err on the side of the dramatic, it is a sumptuous collection that combines the aesthetic of David Bowie’s alter ego Ziggy Stardust with 16th-century sensibilities. There are ornate and very Catholic crosses,
“MY GUCCI UNIVERSE IS INCLUSIVE. IT FRAGMENTS TO RECREATE IN A CONTEMPORARY WAY. IT TRIES TO ACHIEVE CHEMICAL EFFECTS THROUGH THE USE OF DIFFERENT AGENTS. IT IS A POSSIBLE UNIVERSE THAT SOMETIMES USES AN IMPOSSIBLE LANGUAGE. I LIKE BEING IN THIS UNIVERSE BECAUSE IT GIVES ME MORE POSSIBILITIES.”
cascading earrings that really could double as chandeliers and even brooches. It is made in Italy and uses sweet-shop bag of coloured stones, such as yellow and green tourmalines, violet sapphires, mandarin garnets and transfixingly mercurial opals. As is the way with everything Michele does, it is unusual – this is after all the man who made is partner a pearl-bedecked pendant comprising his own hair – seductive and desirable. And like everything he has created since taking the creative director’s seat, in a universe all of its own.

They have fascinated the likes of designers such as Dior’s Maria Grazie Chiuri who have mapped their constellations on couture gowns or were the first thing Coco Chanel looked to when, in 1932, she wanted to create her first collection of jewellery. And now ROX is taking its place in the firmament with its new Cosmic collection, inspired by the Aurora Borealis, far galaxies and also the astrological phenomena that career through our atmosphere. Their most ambitious collection to date, it comprises rings, bracelets and two incredible collars, which, alone, took 80 hours to make, all set with the most incredible G-colour diamonds.
Instead of the usual stars or moons, the inhouse design team at ROX has taken a different approach. The mesmeric swirl of far-flung galaxies are turned into rings and earrings, where stone-set tendrils swirl around a central diamond; shooting stars become dramatic spikes set together to create rings and earrings that are almost Art Deco in their aesthetic. It’s not just the designs that are ROX at its most ambitious, the way these pieces have been made are a showcase of superior craftsmanship. Rather than rely on usual settings, ROX has taken things further. The stones are set into a rub-over setting – an ingenious technique that involves placing the diamonds in a circle of metal, which is then folded around the stone catching the widest points of the stone and locking it in place. By removing the interference

of the traditional claw, the exquisite diamonds appear larger and as if they, and the metal, are one. The other way the stones are secured is with a grain of metal that is tipped to form a bead. A fine thread of these beads sits either side of these stones, framing them. It is this soft, rolled edge, which is smooth to the touch, that gives the jewellery an extra level of refinement. Despite being decadent designs dripping in diamonds, the bold forms and juxtaposition between hypnotic swirls and dramatic lines makes this collection incredibly versatile. Precious stones are no longer reserved for afterdark, or for occasions that require a dress code; the modern woman wears hers with everything from a plain white t-shirt and denim cut-offs to cashmere jumpers and wide-legged wool trousers. This collection from ROX is the ideal “everyday diamond”, wear one piece for a subtle sparkle or layer on a few pieces and go all out on the drama. Whatever you decide to invest in, you’ll be certain that these are pieces that are distinct enough to make a statement but discrete enough to grow with you; to, like the stars in the night sky, be constant companions as you chart your own course through life. CAPTURING THE MAGIC Not simply the home of Diamonds & Thrills, ROX is renowned as being one of the UK’s most forward thinking and dynamic independent jewellers. We caught up with designer Joanna Perera to find out more about where she gets her inspiration and what we can expect this season.
Tell us a bit about yourself I’m 24 years old, I was born in London and when I’m not designing jewellery, you might find me at an open mic or gig, at the gym or in an art gallery. I also enjoy walking and, having recently moved to Glasgow, I am now discovering the beautiful walking routes in the city and around the Scottish countryside. How did you get into jewellery designing? As a child, I was always a bit of a magpie, finding and collecting shiny objects. Over time, those shiny objects became jewellery and my collection steadily grew. I still wear many of those pieces - they have great sentimental value. I always loved receiving jewellery as a gift and so I began creating small items of jewellery for my family and friends.

When did you first realise you wanted a career in jewellery design? Before university, I was fascinated with both sculpture and fashion. Two exhibitions that inspired my design career were Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty show at the V&A and Richard Deacon’s retrospective at the Tate Britain. These very different exhibitions exemplified design at its best, while simultaneously bringing me to the realisation that I was torn between further exploring sculpture or pursuing a more fashion-led path. At this time, I was primarily working with small sculptures, but I felt constantly pulled back to my love of fashion and its intrinsic interaction with the wearer. For this reason, I began to explore sculpture on the body through body adornment and soon realised that the Jewellery Design course at Central Saint Martin’s was the perfect opportunity for me to combine my love of both sculpture and fashion. Whilst on
THE JEWELLERY EDIT
the course, collaboration projects with brands such as Swarovski and Chaumet reaffirmed this decision, with my inner magpie falling even more in love with the art of jewellery design . What’s the best advice you could give for someone who can’t decide whether a piece of jewellery is for them or not? Jewellery has a unique way of interacting with the wearer - it has a magical propensity to highlight and showcase our personalities. I would advise to look at the jewellery piece in person; hold it, touch it and wear it! In doing this, you can really get a sense of whether the piece matches your personality and style, how it feels on your skin and, more importantly, how it makes you feel. I find that when you wear a piece of jewellery, you can find yourself falling in love with pieces you never expected and even rejecting ones that you thought ticked all the right boxes. Comfort vs aesthetic – which is more important? I think that a well-designed and made piece of jewellery should perfectly combine both comfort and aesthetic. Jewellery is made to be worn, so there is no point having a beautiful piece if you never wear it. What’s your favourite gemstone? Although I love coloured gemstones, I feel that no stone can beat the brilliance of a diamond. Diamonds are innately classical, beautiful and timeless. Having said that, yellow and pink diamonds are so unique and rare, they really do catch my eye too. If you could design jewellery for anyone who would it be? I would love to design for Michelle Obama. She is such an inspirational woman and since reading her autobiography, I have gained so much respect and admiration for her! Plus, on top of all her accomplishments, she has great style and loves her statement jewellery. What is your main focus when designing for ROX? My aim when designing any item of jewellery is to produce a beautiful, unique and wearable piece that is treasured and stands the test of time.

THE JEWELLERY EDIT
Tell us a little bit about your upcoming ROX collections - where did the design inspiration for these stem from? I have two main collections that will launch this season. The inspiration behind ROX Cane was the versatility and strength of bamboo canes. Bamboo canes have a unique capability of being trained into almost any shape and retaining their innate strength, a feature making them one of the most versatile building resources the world can offer. The natural beauty, flexibility and strength of bamboo canes was therefore the perfect inspiration for ROX Cane; a range that transforms bamboo canes into link forms that offers the wearer customisable unique jewellery styles that range from your everyday jewellery look to key statement pieces.
“I WANT MY JEWELLERY TO BE AN EXTENSION OF THE WEARER AND A REFLECTION OF THEIR PERSONALITY” ROX Lox is a truly fun and customisable collection. Every piece can be personalised with charms or engraving, letting you mix and match according to your own style. Key features of the range include the new carabiner and padlock styles, 18K vermeil gold plating and the inclusion of ROX diamonds on some of the pieces. I believe that the versatility of the ROX Lox collection will allow anyone to start building a ROX jewellery collection that really reflects their own personal style, whether through layered neckwear, multiple earrings or small-engraved pieces. I hope that this collection will create an accessible luxury for any customer. Are there other collections in the pipeline? I have just started work on a new collection for next year. All I can say at the moment is that I’m planning to put a ROX twist on a classic jewellery symbol. How does designing for ROX compare to your previous work? I’d say the main difference is that I now have the opportunity to take creative control and truly explore my design ideas in creating my new collections.
ROX Cane
How do you want women to feel when wearing your designs? My favourite pieces of jewellery are ones that become part of my everyday look. They are the pieces I never take off and feel naked without. Ideally, this is something that I would like my jewellery to become - an extension of the wearer and a reflection of their personality. What’s next for ROX? I would love to see ROX grow and expand to become an international brand. I believe that ROX has a bright future and that we will continue to offer something new and exciting to the luxury jewellery market.

Aliya & A yaz ALIYA ASHRAF & AYAZ ASHRAF I grew up a tomboy and I would never have, along with many others, pictured myself having the wedding that I did. While growing up I was never the relationship type, I just didn't like the idea of having your world revolve around one person. Little did I know it’s about sharing your world with that one person you can’t live without, that person being Ayaz. Ayaz is the most respectable man I have met, he worked from a very young age to support his mum and feels he owes everything to her. A man who treats his mum well is one worth sharing your world with in my eyes. Ayaz, like me, wasn’t ever in any serious relationships until I came along and fate happened.
WEDDINGS
I was 16, Ayaz was 18 and I had been offered a job opportunity at Carphone Warehouse (where Ayaz works) which led to me travelling to Sheffield for training. I was fashionably late walking into a room full of people, Ayaz being one of those. We were drawn to each other, chat flowing on breaks, and just seemed to have a connection so we exchanged numbers. The training only lasted for two days so I didn’t think too much of it as I was only 16 and didn’t think I’d ever cross paths with Ayaz again – how wrong I was. I remember the moment Ayaz messaged me like it was yesterday, he reached out to catch up with me as he’d be in town, I suppose you could say that was fate. We chatted everyday and went on a date to see Paranormal Activity - romantic! Ayaz asked me to be his girlfriend, however, one year passed and we broke up. That wasn’t the end of our story though as something brought us back together, we haven’t parted since. Ayaz asked my parents for my hand in marriage, we went onto have the wedding of our dreams surrounded by our loved ones 10 years after we met, with a ROX ring! I chose a princess cut Love ring from ROX in Trinity Leeds, I worked next to the store and every time I walked by the ring just stood out to me. I love having a ROX ring as it’s a unique brand and it makes my engagement ring feel exclusive to me and my love story. www.rox.co.uk

CONNIE O’MAHONEY & CONNOR SCULLY I’m Connie O’Mahoney, a 20 year old sales assistant for ROX - Diamonds & Thrills. I was born in London and grew up in Aberdeen, where I met my one, Connor Scully. Connor is a 26 year old joiner and part-time semi pro footballer. We have just bought our first home with our nine-month-old daughter Milana, I’m living my very own fairytale! Myself and Connor were a modern day fairytale, having known each other already we fell in love partying together in Ibiza. We didn’t stop having fun every weekend since, until our little Milana came along to put a stop to the partying in March 2018. Milana was due two months after moving into our forever home but was fashionably late! Three and a half years down the line our life was complete, we were madly in love and had everything we’d ever dreamed of. Then came the proposal – Connor had planned to propose at a family event when I was eight-months pregnant, however, my mum stole the thunder and fell and broke her arm. Connor held off until our next big family occasion which was my sister's 21st. It was a great evening, we had a gorgeous meal and partied like old times (Milana in hand this time of course). Connor took Milana to get changed and swapped her little baby grow over to one that said ‘Mummy will you marry Daddy?’. He passed Milana back to me and after a while of not noticing I burst into tears, I had no idea it was coming. Of course, I said yes, it was the most emotional and amazing moment.

Connor chose my dream ring, a 1 carat oval brilliant halo set in platinum, F colour and VS2 graded clarity. Being a ROX employee I changed my ‘dream ring’ every day but the team at ROX were so professional and found out exactly what I wanted - me being totally unaware! I’m well versed in diamond quality and wouldn’t have wanted any other ring than a ROX ring, the quality is like no other. Connor put full trust into the team to get my perfect ring, trying to judge the sizing was difficult due to me being pregnant but they still nailed it. They have completed my fairytale, amazing service I can’t thank them all enough.

LUCY CONNELLY & CHRIS ALLAN I’m Lucy, and I run the street style and fashion blog Florals & Corals and Instagram @lucyflorals. I’m 27 and from Glasgow, Scotland. I live with my fiancé Chris, who works in IT consultancy, and this year we have some serious plans! Starting with our wedding in September, when we are due to get married in front of a small group of family and friends at The Peninsula hotel in Paris. Chris and I first met in our final year at high school and this August marks the 10 year anniversary of our first date (crazy when I think about it!). Throughout those 10 years, Chris has been there to support me through thick and thin and now, I can’t imagine life without him. We have really become inseparable. He's my best friend. We do everything together. Whether it’s travel, work or sitting in front of the TV with a series on; he is always by my side. Every day is full of fun, laughter and happiness from the minute I wake up in the morning to the moment I fall asleep at night. We both feel really lucky to have found each other and truly can’t wait for our wedding this year. Speaking of which, let’s talk proposals. Chris proposed in June of last year, whilst on holiday at the Grand Floridian hotel in Orlando. We were walking around the beautiful grounds in the summer sun before our
hris C & y c u L scheduled afternoon tea (my absolute favourite) when Chris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. As we holiday in Florida every year, I truly didn’t expect it. I was both shocked and delighted at the same time. I couldn’t wait to tell my family and as they were also in Florida at the same time it was amazing to be able to meet with them later that night and enjoy the celebrations. When we got back to the hotel room, Chris had arranged for roses, champagne, chocolates and a new pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes waiting in the room for me. The perfect end to the perfect day and I haven’t even mentioned the ring yet as I am saving the best for last. For our engagement, Chris chose the most beautiful ROX yellow cushion cut diamond halo. It was perfect. Let me explain why… I have always loved ROX, not only for the beautiful pieces they sell but the incredible service that they provide no matter what you are looking for. I feature them regularly on my blog so it was a natural fit really, and no doubt he knew I would have loved any ring from ROX.
As for the yellow, I watched a film many years ago that featured a yellow diamond necklace and I fell in love with coloured diamonds. I made a mental note to myself that day that if I was every lucky enough to own any diamonds, they would be yellow. Luckily for me, I have a boyfriend who pays attention…sometimes! Joking aside, I love the ring that Chris chose for me and wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s striking, unique and fits in with my style perfectly. Especially when I layer with other jewellery. As of yet, we haven’t decided on our wedding bands but I have tried on some beautiful ones in ROX that fit perfectly with my ring, as has Chris. This time, we get the pleasure of picking them together.

ROBYN MITCHELL & JODIE BIRD Jodie and I have been together now for three years and we are still going stronger than ever! Only recently we have just bought our first house together, shortly after getting engaged – it hasn't been the easiest doing two of life's most stressful things at the same time. We have a few extra grey hairs and have drank slightly more wine but we got through it! Most of our time is spent together either touring Yorkshire’s yummiest restaurants, sipping on cocktails or going to the gym. I would say ‘we’ are shopaholics but I think I would be insulting Jodie if I put her in the same category as me. And of course, we love to get away together whether it's to the Lakes or to a sandy beach abroad. Nothing beats some quality time exploring new countries/cities. We’ve hit the jackpot really, we are soulmates and best friends all in one (considering we are both Geminis). Robyn: Jodie and I first met at Leeds pride – slightly cliché I know! It wasn’t until a few weeks after that we met on another night out that we fell for each other – LITERALLY. Amongst a crowd of people in a foam party where we clocked eyes and like Super Mario Kart slipping on a banana, that’s how we ended up on floor. A few Nando’s dates later and here we are, three years down the line and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been! Jodie: We had booked to go to Mexico in the October 2018 and I had known for a while I wanted to ask Robyn to marry me. I wanted the proposal to be perfect and what better way than on the sandy beach of Mexico surrounded by the Caribbean sea. I had spoken with the resort (TRS Yucatan – amazing place!) before our arrival and arranged a private dinner for two on one of the evenings along the beach. I knew Robyn wouldn’t like any big proposal with a crowd of people so this was intimate and very special. At the end of the dinner and a few bottles of wine later, I suggested
92

us getting a photo together to capture the moment. I stood the camera at the end of the table, selected timer and positioned myself next to Robyn. After a couple of normal photos, on the third one it was time to swallow away the nerves as I got down onto one knee asking her to marry me. Luckily, my timing was on point and the camera caught the exact moment. Floods of tears later, I finally got an answer. Her face says it all! Robyn: Jodie had it easier than most partners, I knew exactly what I wanted... and I made this pretty clear to her by sending numerous photos every day! Although I chose the style, Jodie added her own special touch to it and individually chose my diamond... and the girl did good. The diamond itself is rare in quality and beauty, but the sentimental value just tops it. The whole concept of her choosing the diamond makes it so much more special than anything and it meant she was a part of the process. The whole bespoke service is the reason we chose ROX, not to mention the high quality in the handcrafted rings. I just love the idea of my ring being built step by step for me personally and it really adds that personal touch which makes it so unique.

I always knew I would want the classic solitaire style, but I like to be different, and I just fell in love with the Marquise shape when I first tried it on. It’s such an unusual shape that suits my finger. It was love at first sight (the ring). I later then bought Jodie an engagement ring for herself from ROX, and gave Jodie her own special moment that she gave me. She wanted something quite different to the typical engagement ring style, and rather wanted a baguette channel set. Both of our rings are completely different to each other but they both give us the same feeling – a reminder of our special moment we can remember forever.

ON TREND Wedding trends are unlike any other fashion trends – most of the biggest trends from the runways will stick around for more than just one season and some will even become classics. Taylor Brown catches up with the founder of the iconic Mirka Bridal Couture, Mirka Jankowska, to discover the hottest trends to come for the bridal world in 2020. Mirka’s attention to the finest details evidently speaks out through the beautifully crafted gowns that come out of her Kirkcaldy design studio. With experience spanning over 30 years, Mirka’s originality and authenticity is seen in every one of her designs. Mirka’s handmade dresses and her stunning signature handmade appliqués are one of the things she has come to be known for, earning her recognition at home and abroad. Her insatiable passion for fashion and love for all things comfortable led her to fashion design, and since then, she has never looked back. Mirka lets us in on the coming AW19 bridal trends that you need to know about.
THIGH-HIGH SPLITS Over the years many bridal designers have slowly been spicing up the runway with more daring gowns. Brides looking to show a bit of skin on their wedding day are opting for thigh-high slits in place of last seasons bare backs. The slits vary from the centre to the side on lace and crepe gowns, to a more daring hip high slit in flowing muslin fabrics with short, detailed underskirts

ALL OVER LACE The most romantic of all, the all over crochet lace is a true newcomer into mainstream bridal couture. We have seen this style over and over in smaller, independent brands and it is set to take over for 2020. Expect unique lace patterns and thrilling trims seen on form fitting and full gowns. The stretch and softness of it will be perfect for any bride looking for comfort on their wedding day, without having to compromise on the aesthetic.
ALL THINGS SPARKLY Bridal runways have been filled with sparkle this season - metallic fabrics, Swarovski crystals and shimmering tulles. This doesn’t end where wedding gowns start - crystal covered heels and veils are perfect for any bride who wants to go all out, don’t hold back! Our gown Celesta is a stunning off the shoulder mermaid gown that features all of the above. Made with a unique silver threaded fabric and illusion neckline, lined with dazzling Swarovski crystals. It’s a great option for brides looking to sparkle on their big day.
FEATHERS Brides who’ve been on the hunt for their dress will already be familiar with the feather trend as it came to light in AW17 catwalks. The trend being so popular with brides all over is staying with us for 2020. Feather gowns can go two ways - full old Hollywood glamour or delicate romantic style. Delicate feathers combined with ethereal frills add texture and softly move as you walk down the aisle - placed on the train and neckline. For a more glamorous look, go for full feathers, such a statement accent makes for a great juxtaposition with a plain crepe gown.

BESPOKE This by far has been the biggest trend at Mirka Bridal Couture, and I can only see it getting bigger in years to come. There’s something very special about designing your own gown, choosing the fabrics and watching it be made that no off the rack dress can compete with. Having a one of a kind dress is really what it’s all about. There is also the possibility to customise your gowns which a lot of designers now offer. It adds an extra special touch to the most important dress you’ll ever wear.
BE A BRIDE THAT'S ON TREND
IS IT THE ONE? You’ve found the one but now you’ve got to find the dress. Mirka helps our ROX brides understand when they’ve found the one. Choosing a wedding dress is undoubtedly the most difficult decision for a bride. After all, this dress will be the most important dress you will wear, there is no room for compromise here. You have to source a dress that ticks all the boxes, from fit to fabric and not to mention the price! Wedding dress shopping can be stressful, follow our simple guided (and your heart) on how to find the one. 1. It's the one You hear of brides having that moment, with their family surrounding them in tears and the feeling of it being ‘the one’. However, the majority of brides don’t actually have this moment - so don’t stress it. 2. You can’t get it out of your head If you have tried on a dress in a boutique and you just can’t stop thinking about it, it’s most likely the one for you. I couldn’t tell you how many brides come back a few days after their appointment to buy the one because they just couldn’t stop thinking about it - it’s not always that moment in the store! 3. Comparison You will compare every dress you try on to the dress you love. This happens so often - you fall in love the dress but you continue to try on more because you don’t want to make a mistake with such an important decision. You still go to every bridal shop trying on various options, but you compare each of them to that one. Don't hesitate any longer, it is the one! 4. Can’t wait until the big day It will be a struggle to keep it a secret from your partner. Tradition dictates that you must not show the wedding dress to your future partner before the ceremony. On this day you are to enchant and dazzle but above all, surprise them. However, when you find this perfect dress you will immediately feel like showing it off.
With experience spanning over 30 years, Mirka’s originality and authenticity is seen in every one of her designs. mirkabridal.co.uk
5. Trust yourself You are the first person you’re trying to please, not everyone else. Brides take their most trusted advisors wedding dress shopping, usually with the mother of the bride and close friends and family. You become overwhelmed with contrasting opinions and the dress shopping experience is no longer as fun as the movies. Ultimately it’s your wedding day so if the dress feels like the one, no matter what your friends and family say, it’s the one.

ICONIC BRIDES
ICONIC BRIDES Looking back over the last 10 years there has been some memorable bridal moments across the globe. From lavish extravaganzas to intimate nuptials we take a look at the most iconic brides since 2009.
2009 Mexican actress Salma Hayek married French tycoon Francois-Henri Pinault in Paris. They wed in the town hall in St Germain. A few months later the couple celebrated with a second star-studded ceremony in Venice Opera House. The guest list included names such as Bono, Penelope Cruz and Woody Harrelson who welcomed guests by singing “Over The Rainbow”. The nuptials cost $3.5million.
2011 Often described as the wedding of the 21st century, Prince William and Kate Middleton wed at Westminster Abbey in London. The fairytale nuptials reportedly cost $34 million, of which $32 million went into security. Kate wore a dress designed by British designer Sarah Burton who is Creative Director of luxury fashion label Alexander McQueen. The gown cost around £250,000 making it one of the most expensive dresses ever made.
2016 Singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson held a royal reception at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson were in attendance along with Earth Wind & Fire who introduced the couple. Ciara wore a one off Roberto Cavalli couture wedding gown with a cathedral length train handcrafted in Milan while the groom wore Giorgio Armani. Ciara’s ring is nothing short of extravagant, the round brilliant cut totals at 16 carats – and flawless.
2019 In quite admirable fashion Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz reportedly wed back in February of this year, two months after their engagement. The couple have yet to confirm their marriage however, obtained a confidential marriage certificate in California. The mystery behind their marriage makes it all the more exciting. www.rox.co.uk

definition and then fill in any sparseness with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder and an angled brush for the most natural, untouched bushy brow finish. Step 4: The eyes have it Create a wash of drama with matte shadows for depth and definition using the Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Sultry’ palette. Add a pop of shimmer on the lid centre for a rock star chic finish – not forgetting to line rim of the eyes with smokey kohl – my favourite is MAC ‘Smoulder’. Step 5: Nude Nineties Throw a nod to the sassy supermodels of the 90’s with a nude brown lip. Line the lips with a lip liner 1 shade darker than the lipstick and blend onto the lip for a diffused finish with no harsh lines. Add a slick of nude, brown lipstick – Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution lipstick in ‘Super Nineties’ is the perfect tawny-brown.
“MATTE DEFINITION, FULL, FLUFFY BROWS, KOHL LINED EYES PAIRED WITH DEWY, FRESH SKIN KEEP THE LOOK MODERN AND EFFORTLESS.” DRUNK ELEPHANT
Step 6: Finishing touch Contour and highlight with the must have duo ‘Filmstar Bronze & Glow’ from Charlotte Tilbury. The bronzer will slim, sculpt and give flattering matte definition, while the champagne toned highlighter will catch the light in all the right places – apply to the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupids bow. Bring life to the complexion with a pop of blush – keeping the tones nude and neutral, Charlotte Tilbury’s ‘Pillowtalk’ blush is the ultimate, universal shade to add an instant, healthy sheen. RED CARPET SKIN With party season just around the corner, we turn to Scotland’s premier aesthetic doctor Dr Nestor to get his professional opinion on how to look and feel our most glamorous.
W
hen the calendar flips over to the winter months, we can only think of one thing: party season! Yes, those months of gatherings, events and long-overdue catchups with friends, the most wonderful time of the year is almost back. But with a packed diary of events comes the natural pressure to look your best; understandable when you know that you’ll be appearing on dozens of friends’ Instagram feeds, or that you’ll be catching up with pals you haven’t seen for a long time. Everyone wants to feel confident in the way they look and step out over the party season feeling their most fabulous, after all. So, if you’re wondering how to step it up ahead of the most glamorous season, we’ve got
116
www.rox.co.uk
the insider advice for you. We sat down with previous winner of Scotland’s Best Cosmetic Doctor, Dr Nestor, to get his expert advice on the treatments and products you can rely on. Dr Nestor believes that it’s all about getting the basics right. “Great skin starts with great skincare,” he explains. “Makeup can only go so far, so if you want a truly great canvas for it, then it’s all in the prep. Poor skin health can create so many more issues that stretch beyond the cosmetic, like low self-esteem and confidence issues, so there are lots of reasons to look after your skin and treat it as best you can.” If you’re concerned about your skin and unsure what to do with it, the skin health doctors at the Medical & Cosmetic Centre can guide you, assessing your needs and then providing a tailor-
ROX MAGAZINE
made skincare plan of medical-grade products. “We use ZO Skin Health, there are so many products to treat various skin issues, and they are far more effective than high-street alternatives,” Dr Nestor tells us. “Whether you need to change your basic routine, or bring in some targeted treatments for a specific issue, we advise on products and a tailored regime to help you get the best from your skin.” For a quick fix ahead of the party season, Dr Nestor recommends his clinic’s most popular new treatment to help you get the glow back: The Carbon Laser Facial Peel. Sometimes referred to as ‘The Hollywood Peel’ because of its ability to give you an expensive-looking red-carpet glow, this quick-as-a-flash (literally) peel is great for when you want to rejuvenate, giving skin a fresher, smoother look and bringing back some radiance. “The carbon laser facial peel is a quick treatment that dramatically enhances the skin, and it’s perfect for parties and special occasions, as it requires no downtime and leaves no redness,” Dr Nestor explains. “The facial promises brighter and smoother skin, with tightened pores, improved texture and tone, and a reduction in blackheads, blockages and blemishes, so the skin is much clearer too.” Taking just 30 minutes to complete, we definitely think this is a fabulous facial to squeeze into even the most packed of schedules, to give you a radiant glow that will have everyone feeling envious. The clinic recommends a course of three to enjoy the full effects, but even just one will give you improved skin that you’ll want to show off. However, ahead of party season, we appreciate that it might not be just skincare that you’re thinking about. Injectables and aesthetic treatments have surged in popularity over the last few years, and in particular the demand for ‘tweakments’, giving subtle, beautifully believable
HEALTH & BEAUTY
results that nobody would second-guess, has become more popular. Dr Nestor specialises in ‘quietly enhancing’ his patients, using minimal and strategicallyapplied injectables to lift, refresh, realign or re-volumise the face, only where it’s needed. And he says that this is a great way to feel your best pre-party season: “If there’s an issue that’s been bothering you for a while, or if you feel like the face in the mirror isn’t ‘yours’ anymore, then injectables are (in the hands of a skilled, registered doctor), a safe, quick and effective way to make those changes.” “Fillers and wrinkle-relaxing injectables can be used in a multitude of ways to subtly enhance the face, without anyone being able to tell what you’ve had done,” Dr Nestor continues. “And often, you might not even know what it is that needs changing, but a skilled doctor will. I see patients who think that bigger lips will balance their faces, but really, some filler applied to the chin or jaw is what creates the equilibrium they’re looking for. It’s not about creating an ‘obviously done’ look; injectables should be minimalistic, allowing for a natural look with plenty of expression. I like to use them to soften areas and restore youthful features or proportions, where required. The best treatments are those that are barely noticeable, and the best kind of results are those where people comment on how healthy, rested or happy you look, that you look like the very best version of yourself.” And isn’t that what everybody wants this party season? www.drnestor.co.uk www.rox.co.uk

Moving on to open his own salon at 18 and with the help of Instagram Dom’s artistic work quickly became an internet hit with a GHD representative contacting him to attend Milan Fashion Week. Two days later he was on a flight and to the worlds most stylish extravaganza.

2009 Bangs and grunge textured hair Bangs and long choppy fringes were all the rage in 2009, as young hot Hollywood was the buzz. The rise in reality TV in popular culture meant that hair trends moved away from ‘done’ and ‘polished’ to sexier and edgier styles. Look to 2009 Mischa Barton for ultimate inspiration.
2014 Balayage First introduced by supermodel Giselle, the balayage hair look was inspired by Victoria’s Secret models and replicated the sun kissed beach-bleached style. With the introduction of brands such as Olaplex, which launched in 2014, celebrities became braver with hair colouring as demonstrated by Khloe Kardashian who famously went through a dramatic lightening transformation.
2016 Beachy long bob A lot of celebrities went from long hair to a beachy, textured long bob. Hair extensions were more readily available and this allowed celebrities and hair stylists to play around with length more freely and create a wider variety of looks.
2018 Half up, half down Half up, half down or better known as the Kardashian look. Inspired by 90’s throwback it’s a really versatile look as it can be styled so many ways: sleek, wavy and glam.
2019 Island Hair The island hair has an almost crimped look with a whispy texture it gives you that mermaid hair you’ve always dreamed of. Made popular by who other than the Kardashians and suits almost every hair type.

GET THE
ROX STAR LOOK Amy Hill, better known as Body by Amy, lets us in on the secrets to that ROX Star body. 1. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) HIIT is one of the most beneficial types of cardiovascular exercise you can do if you are looking to reduce overall fat mass. It consists of intense bursts of anaerobic exercise punctuated with a short recovery period before repeating. HIIT not only burns fat and calories during the workout, but for hours afterwards meaning it’s a great way to supercharge your metabolism which in turn leads to weight loss (if that is your desired outcome, of course). Longtime celebrity HIIT fans include Erin McNaught and Jennifer Lopez, both of whom are famed for their incredibly lean and toned bodies. At Body By Amy, each class lasts just 45 minutes but clients are only actually working for around 35 mins of that time, once we’ve warmed up and cooled down. 2. Boxing In recent years boxing has become one of the hottest workouts in Hollywood for a whole host of reasons. Mixing strength 120

and cardio, boxing gives you a full body workout while majorly improving focus and concentration - not to mention the crazy endorphin release at the end of each session! Loved by Victoria’s Secret models Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn to name but a few, boxing not only benefits your body but is proven to be a great stress-release while also working to combat anxiety and low self- esteem. Karlie Kloss said “It’s how it affects you on the inside that really motivates me and keeps me pushing myself further.” One piece of advice – be prepared to become an addict! 3. Weight Training One of the most common misconceptions about weight training for women is that it’s going to make you big and bulky… wrong! Weight training is one of the most effective ways to tone up and lose fat. Some of the hottest celebrities in the world credit “lifting” for their incredible bodies, including Kim Kardashian who claims its got her in

5 TIPS ON STICKING TO IT Taylor Brown catches up with Amy Hill on all things fitness and how to really stick to it. Amy lets us in on her five top tips to follow this winter season to keep in tip top condition for some winter sun. 1. Be accountable. Every Sunday map out your week based on what plans you have. Fit in your training time, prep your meals and track your intake along the way with an app like MyFitness Pal. It’s so much easier to make healthier choices and stick to your routine when you’re organised and prepped. Document your progress by taking photographs which will help to keep you accountable. 2. Power in numbers. Having someone to train with can mean that on the days you’re just not feeling it – or the days they’re not feeling it – you can motivate each other, or at the very least the guilt of letting each other down will motivate you! Lots of my clients come to my Body By Amy classes with their friends and use it as an opportunity to catch up whilst getting fit at the same time.
the best shape of her life following the birth of her first two children. She recently told E news: “I’ve been working out really hardcore with a bodybuilder for one year… I work out about an hour- and-a-half every single day, heavy weights. I don’t do a lot of cardio.” Some of my clients had never lifted a dumbbell before coming to me, in this case it’s really important to spend time working on your form before upping the weights. Nothing makes me happier as a trainer than building my clients confidence and watching them progress – so many of them are surprised by how much weight training can really help existing issues and injuries such as lower back pain. By strengthening your core, lifting weights will improve your posture too – particularly if you spend the majority of your day at a desk.
Body by Amy Hello@bodybyamy.co.uk 07500707389 @bodyby_amy
3. Set goals. Having a goal to work towards makes hitting the gym much more appealing. There is no better feeling in the world than when clients reach their goal. Once you’ve hit the first one, set another; they don’t need to big milestones. It could be something as simple as completing every workout you’d planned out that week, or upping the number of reps/weight on a specific exercise. 4. Credit where it’s due. A great way to stay motivated is by rewarding yourself – but only if you’ve really earned it. It’s important to recognise hard work and treating yourself to a dessert, a spa day or a night out with friends. It might mean walking to the train station instead of taking the car, or swapping your lunchtime sandwiches for a salad, but if you're committed to doing it then you’ve earned a treat! 5. Be realistic. It’s so easy to tell yourself you’re going to eat nothing but salads from now on, or that you’re going to work out twice a day five days a week, but not only would it take a lot of will power – and misery – to eat a salad three times a day, you’d need to have been training like an athlete for most of your life to be able to sustain it! Having an achievable target of three classes a week, or 10,000 steps per day, means it will feel like less of a chore and there’s also more chance of you sticking to it.

THE NEW BREED OF PARTY ANIMAL
RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME
Living your best ROX Star life is all about setting trends, not following them. It’s not about going to the hottest places, more about discovering them. Whether that’s the latest London underground club that no one knows how to get in to and an uber exclusive well-being resort in the Utah dessert that the glitterati like to escape too. The more obscure, the more private and the more top secret the better. When it comes to holidays nothing says cool like a hard to reach and even harder to pronounce destination. This year Mykonos is out and the Turkish Riviera is in. With hot hotels like the Ian Sharager’s all white Bodrum Edition or the brand new Six Senses hotel which has just opened in the resort town of Kaplankaya plus new developments popping up all over taking the scene up a level.
The modern day ROX Star still likes to party but for them it’s more about detoxing than derailing. Partying hard is one thing, looking good while doing it is another and party prep is key. Upping your cardio, tracking your calories and living on green everything in the run up to an event will make you feel and look great but those who truly embrace the ROX Star lifestyle will always take it to the next level. Think residential cleanses to help banish toxins and find your inner zen, intermittent fasting to shed pounds, elimination diets and pumping as much goodness as you can into your body to ensure that you glow from the inside out. www.rox.co.uk
