This space is a contrast to most scenarios. Where most spaces feel more dangerous at night, the lighting strategy of the concourse makes what is quite a dark space in daylight feel very open, comfortable and visible. This area is lit significantly better than other spaces on university 87 campus, such as around the Information Commons, potentially because this has previously been identified as a problem area.
