“The response from the community and everyone that was involved has been very positive,” said Lisa Kemp, the city’s program coordinator of spe- cial events.

“Attendees have expressed that they appreciated the unique opportunities that the event series presented from watching national performing artists at AnvilTheatre to experiencing gold panning and trying out a circus activity.”

Earlier, the festival had offered entertainment and activities related to other regions of Canada: British Columbia (Jan 21); the Prairies (Jan 28); East Coast (Feb. 18); Northern Canada (Feb 25); and Ontario (March 11)
