1.0 INTRODUCTION The Big Bang brand is the core of who we are—it is the foundation from which we tell meaningful, relevant stories about our solutions, products, and services. Collectively, our brand is both the way we look and the way we sound; it’s how we express who we are as a company and it represents Big Bang’s unique combination of reliable and innovative Brand is our audience’s perception of what we do, what we stand for, and what makes us relevant. Big Bang, originally named Big Bang Labs and then known as Big Bang Networks, was founded in 2016.

The name Big Bang is taken from the Fujita scale of ratings for tornado intensity, where Big Bang is the most intense. Our Big Bang red ball glows brightly from our hardware that’s housed in data centers across the globe.When the elements of our brand identity— how we look and how we sound—are aligned with what we do and what we say, we can connect with our audience in a way that is authentic and meaningful.

1.1 CORPORATE LOGO Because our logo represents us at the very highest level, it is vitally important. Together, the wordmark and the crest act as a signature, an identifier, and a stamp of quality. To maintain consistency and professionalism as we use our logo, follow the few simple guidelines in this section.

Our primary logo is used for most applications and contains two basic elements: the wordmark and the crest. They should never be separated or adjusted. Contact the Office of Communications and Marketing to request digital files for the logo.

Primary Logo The Big Bang logo is the foremost representation of our brand; it is a visual summation of who we are. To maintain its strength and integrity, use it consistently and appropriately according to these guidelines. Always treat the Big Bang logo as our company signature rather than a design element. It should appear on all Big Bang materials.

The logo is in Big and Band Dark Gray on a yellow background. Only use solid black or gray versions when color is not an option. The yellow logo is our most universally recognized asset.

The standard text of the logo on templated print materials (white papers, datasheets, and other collateral) is pages or smaller. For larger materials, the logo should be scaled proportionally .

1.2 LOGO WITH BACKGROUND The logo is in Big bang Band Dark Gray on a yellow background. Only use solid black or gray versions when color is not an option. The yellow logo is our most universally recognized asset, and to aid comprehension, we use that version wherever possible. The correct logo has a capitalcase under foreground circle “BB�.

The full-color logo is the most common version, consisting of the primary Bethel colors. If printing restrictions are an issue, use the simpler one-color version. One-color versions of the logo should be used only if printing restrictions demand it. When placing the logo on a colored background, it should be reversed out in one of the ways shown at right.

2.0 LOGO CLEARSPACE AND COMPUTATION The basic stationery items shown were carefully developed into a system. The typing format is an integral part of the total design and, when followed, complements and completes the design of the stationery items. Templates for all stationery items are available in the UNDP Tagline Portal on Sharepoint.

The logo is always surrounded by a minimum amount of buffer space in which no other graphic elemen may intrude and where its legibility must be at a minimum, regardless of the background used. The amound of buffer space required is proporional to the height of the logo and the logotype together.

To ensure that the Big Bang logo is always legible and accurately reproduced, the minimum size for print is 0.5”. The minimum for web is 45 pixels. The standard size of the logo on templated print materials (white papers,datasheets, and other collateral) is 0.625” for 11”x17” pages or smaller. For larger materials, the logo should be scaled proportionally to the piece.

3.0 CORPORATE TYPOGRAPHY The typeface family “Montserrat” has been selected for the lettering of the logo and the company name, and is also the typeface for all stationery and for headlines and titles on printed materials such as covers and posters. “Montserrat” is available in a range of weights and works well in text and display sizes.

3.1 TEXT HIERARCHY Text Hierarchy is an essential part of the Big Bang brand. Used consistently, typography plays a significant role in reinforcing the brand. Source Sans Pro is sometimes used as the titling face for Bigbang. Bigbang only uses the Bold weight Source Sans Pro. It is choosen because it is contemporary, simple and dynamic. Montserrat choosen as the text face of Bigbang. This family is available in different fonts and weights, some of which are institutional used.

4.0 CORPORATE COLOR To ensure color consistency, please adhere to these specifications and use qualified vendors and reliable reproduction methods. Use the PANTONE速 Color Matching System as a reference to ensure accuracy when matching colors for printed materials.

While the formulas on this page serve as an important guide, whenever possible the printer should be given a colour sample to match. JPEG and PNG files are typically specified RGB and are recommended for use in presentations including PowerPoint

4.1 SECONDARY COLOR Please refer to the chart for the colour specifications for Big Bang yellow when reproducing the logo. Final printed colours can vary considerably depending upon paper stock, the amount of ink applied, and the printing process used.

Depending on the application and a system of how to use huse color to identify one product line from another, each of the following colors can be used to compliment or accentuate the Bigbang brand.

6.0 LOGO PLACEMENT Try to make sure that the Big Bang logo should appear in the lower left-hand corner, in full color, on a white background. The proper placement in this location for communication purpose helps to build Big Bang brand-awareness. How do you measure the proper clearspace?

Clear space from the bottom and right or left edge is minimum 1� as illustrated in the demo below. If the logo placement is not applied in the lower right corner, an alternate placement can be applied in the top right corner. Please make sure that it have clear spaces to breath.

LOGO PLACEMENT Proper placement of the logo increases the visibility of the brand. The Big Bang logo is typically anchored to the top or bottom right of collateral, with at least one logo height (x) of space from the edge.

6.1 CORPORATE GRID SYSTEMS The standard Big Bang document page is divided into 12 columns. Two columns may be combined to create a grid with one wide column and one narrow column. Do not combine all three columns. This makes the line length too wide for a comfortable reading experience.

The Big Bang logo should be positioned in the upper right corner of the first page of Big Bang documents. If the logo persists in interior pages, it should also appear at the upper right. The Big Bang logo with the tagline should be positioned in the lower right corner of the final page of Big Bang documents.

Big Bang uses editorial photography to support the complex subject matter of technology. A sense of movement supports the idea that information never stops—even when we are still.
