BENEFITS AND INCENTIVES FOR ROYAL RESORTS MEMBERS

JULY 2023

Overview:

To inform our members about all their membership benefits and create a differentiator that will motivate prospects to purchase a membership.

Objectives:

1. List all the benefits and incentives that Royal Resorts members are entitled to in a single source.

2. Promote the value and benefits of membership.

3. Share this information with all staff for reference and use in the different areas of the company.

4. Identify areas of opportunity to create differentiators.

5. Once they are identified, established and listed in one source, it will be easier to update them, change expiry dates, terms and conditions, etc.

1.-GUEST SERVICES

1. Early check-in (subject to availability).

2. Late checkout (subject to availability).

3. Members with European Plan (Room only) stays who invite visitors to the resort pay US$25 per visitor per day.

4. MEMBERS LOUNGE: Access to an exclusive members-only area where they can enjoy services and additional amenities.

2.-SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

1. Royal Resorts members are entitled to 10 percent off on all activities with an additional charge (arts and crafts and Kids Club evening activities).

3.-HOUSEKEEPING

1. US$1 discount for every wash or dryer service in the laundry (for a complete cycle the discount is US$2).

4.- REFINE ALL-INCLUSIVE

1. The All-inclusive plan is optional for our members; it is mandatory for non-members.

2. Valid when purchasing the package at the Front Desk, through the Thomas More Travel and Reservation Center call centers and Signature Club – Royal Resorts members and their guests are entitled to a preferential ALL-INCLUSIVE rate:

Adults 18+ years old

Teens 13-17 years old $61

Children 4-12 years old $25

Infants 0-3 years old No charge

3. Valid when purchasing the package at the Front Desk, through the Thomas More Travel and Reservation Center call centers and Signature Club – The minimum purchase at the aforementioned rate is four consecutive nights.

4. ACCESS TO SPECIAL PROMOTIONS: 6x7, purchase the Refine All-inclusive package for six nights and get the seventh night free.

5. 15% off surcharges.

6. 16oz drinks (instead of 12oz drinks) and canned beer that is not included for non-member guests.

7. 50% off premium drinks that are not included in the Refine all-inclusive package.

5. FOOD AND BEVERAGE

1. 10% off in Los Murales, Kinoko, Hacienda Sisal, Club Bistro and Veranda del Mar.

2. Half-price domestic drinks in the snack and pool bars from 3 to 6 p.m. every day. Imported drinks are included for members only. The Royal Haciendas.

3. Happy Hour (domestic and imported drinks) in the lobby bar from 6 to 9 p.m. The Royal Haciendas.

1. Member discount of 10% for Royal Resorts logo wear on sale in the Boutique.

7.-RESERVATION OFFICES

1. Preferential discount on published room rates only.

2. The ability to rent rooms in European Plan (Room only) in resorts where the Allinclusive plan is mandatory.

3. Members receive Royal Resorts Rewards for rentals made through internal channels (Royal Reservations website or the Royal Reservations call center), provided that the primary member has signed up for the Royal Resorts Rewards program and has activated his/her account. 8.-MEMBERSHIP AND SALES OFFICE

1. Discounts and special promotions for members interested in expanding their membership portfolio.

2. Golf course benefits and discounts (Concierge Guide).

3. Concierge service.

4. Members may make restaurant reservations in advance.

5. Members receive a courtesy call two weeks before their arrival to help them with any special needs they may have.

9.-RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS

1. Advance bookings for restaurants, according to the benefits offered by their membership type:

• Royal Resorts members in general - 30 days in advance

• Signature Club Platinum members - 35 days in advance

• Signature Club Elite Select members - 40 days in advance

• Signature Club Elite Premier members - 45 days in advance

• Signature Club Elite Royal members - 50 days in advance

• Signature Club President’s Circle members - 60 days in advance

Advance reservations apply for the first three nights of a member’s stay for dining in specialty restaurants and must be made through the Golf & Restaurant Reservations Center via phone or an email sent to restaurants@royalresorts.com or with the Concierge.

2. 10% off or other benefits in restaurants listed in the Concierge Guide.

3. Golf tee time reservations with no penalty (members are not asked for their credit card details when they make the reservation).

4. Round trip transportation to the golf courses, provided that a minimum of two players make a reservation (subject to the policies of each golf course).

10.-ROYAL MARKET

1. 10% off for online Kitchen Starter Kit orders.

11.-SPORT SERVICES

1. Members are entitled to the complimentary use of boogie boards in Sport Services.

2. Members may reserve tennis courts and kayaks up to two days in advance. In the case of kayaks, reservations are weather permitting

12.-SPA & GYM

1. Exclusive member discounts are available. Members can ask Spa sales representatives or receptionists for details.

2. The use of the gym is included for all members from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

13.-TELEPHONE SERVICE

1. After they have paid their bill, members may still make calls to toll-free 800 numbers at no cost; non-member guests make a deposit and pay a service charge of US$3 (subject to approval by Management).

14.-BABYSITTING SERVICE

1. For the babysitting service coordinated by the Telephone department, Royal Resorts members have a preferential rate of US$7 per hour. Non-member guests pay US$10 per hour. For each additional child the member rate is US$1, non-member guests pay US$2.

15.- THOMAS MORE TRAVEL

1. Royal Resorts members earn Royal Resorts Rewards for every service they book with the travel agency. Members earn 1 Reward for every dollar spent on Thomas More travel services whereas non-members earn 1 Reward for every two dollars they spend.

2. Members are also entitled to 10% off house tours such as Xcaret, Chichén Itzá, Xel-Há, Jungle Tour. (Not valid with other promotions).

16.-ROYAL RESORTS REWARDS

1. Royal Resorts members earn 1 Reward for every dollar spent when activating their account in the program. Check the terms and conditions at royalresortsrewards.com

2. Members receive Royal Resorts Rewards every time they dine at Royal Resorts restaurants, including Hacienda Sisal, Club Bistro, Veranda del Mar, Los Murales and El Faro Grill and Flor de Canela in Grand Residences.

3. When booking tours with Thomas More Travel, for spa treatments and massages and for purchases in Royal Market and La Paloma Gift Shop.

4. For eligible stays and products booked through the Royal Resorts Reservation Center (call center and websites).

5. For purchases of Life Extension products and Skymed memberships.

6. For referring friends and family through the Royal Resorts Referral Program.

7. Members can use Royal Resorts Rewards to:

• Pay their annual Club Service Fee

• Pay their resort bill on their next vacation

• Make a donation to the Royal Resorts Foundation

• Redeem their Rewards to pay for eligible stays and products booked through the Royal Resorts Reservation Center (call center and websites).

Members’ guests can also receive Rewards by registering in the Royal Resorts Rewards program.
