MORE THAN AWARENESS...

ACTION PREVENTION & EDUCATION SERVICES

EVERY TEEN COUNTS (ETCs) The Advocates’ ETCs are healthy relationship peer educators and influencers who inspire teens to use their voice, stand up, speak out, and create positive cultural change. These paid interns, representing four local high schools, are leading the charge against emotional and physical abuse in their schools.

GREEN DOT BYSTANDER INTERVENTION The Green Dot intervention program empowers students to be proactive bystanders, and provides them with safe, effective strategies to intervene when they witness violence, bullying and abuse. 97% of students who complete the program commit to positive change.

BECAUSE OF YOU, PREVENTION IS POSSIBLE.

ACTION

The Advocates’ prevention staff and peer educators teach community members, children, and teens how to build and maintain healthy relationships with their families, peers, and partners. We believe that knowledge and respect are powerful tools and that, when shared, create safer communities.

Our new Transitional Housing can provide over

24,000

nights of safety a year.

MORE THAN A HOUSE...

TRANSFORMATION More than just a safe place to live, it’s a space to THRIVE. Transitional housing is a step between our crisis shelter and permanent housing for those who are working towards independence. It provides a supportive environment where residents overcome trauma, build community, and create a better future for themselves, their children, and pets. We are seeking funds for Phase II—the six-unit apartment building. When completed, we will have 22 housing units; 4,500 square feet of on-site client and program support services; and a community meeting room. Your support transforms the lives of survivors and ends the cycle of violence in our community.

BECAUSE OF YOU, INDEPENDENCE IS A REALITY.

TRANSFORMATION

The Advocates’ transitional housing apartments opened in October 2019. The three-story, 12-unit complex in the heart of Hailey provides an affordable place to live for survivors of abuse and their children.

BECAUSE OF YOU...

WE SAVE LIVES & CHANGE FUTURES - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Asking people to support an organization whose work is often unseen is a challenge. We work every day with people who feel they have something to hide. At The Advocates, we offer tangible support in the form of shelter, homes, and education. But what we truly provide extends beyond services. Freedom. Support. Empowerment. Action. Transformation. HOPE. With your support, these are the intangible results of the journey we undertake with our clients. Whether you see it or not, your support touches people in our community more than you know. Visit our website to see our list of supporters at theadvocatesorg.org.

THANK YOU FOR GIVING GENEROUSLY.
