4554. Madonna: Blonde Ambition Tour Wardrobe Archive. Archive of costume and wardrobe material from Madonna’s 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour and her appearance at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards, originating from the collection of noted Hollywood costumer Rob Saduski, who served as Madonna’s longtime tour wardrobe supervisor. The archive consists of a large assortment of handwritten notes, receipts, and documents related to the tour’s meticulous and wide-ranging costumes and wardrobes, including rental invoices, budget revisions, expense lists, contact lists, copies of wardrobe sketches and measurements, costume department shipping sheets, and inventories of the extensive and diligently organized outfits for Madonna and her large cast of backup dancers. Includes 15 ‘stained glass’ invitations for Christopher Ciccone’s (Madonna’s brother) show at his Rue Vivienne boutique in Paris from July 8-26, 1990.
