In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Zarelli Space Authentication for the Conrad signed stamp, and by 11 of the original German-language biography cards. 390. Roger Chaffee Signed Photograph. Naval pilot and astronaut (1935-1967) who was one of three crew members to perish in the Apollo 1 command module fire on January 27, 1967. Rare official color glossy 8 x 10 red-numbered NASA photo (S-64-31447) of Chaffee in a handsome formal pose with pilot’s wings on his lapel, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “To Harold, best wishes, Roger B. Chaffee.” Reverse bears “A Kodak Paper” watermarks. In very good to fine condition, with several noticeable creases. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Zarelli Space Authentication.
