CHALLENGE YOURSELF! Organize the next STAR Management Week

STAR is looking for you! You acquire a lot of valuable knowledge during your studies. But what value do you have to offer employers if you don’t know how to successfully apply all these models and management techniques in a real and practical way? We are looking for ambitious students to organize this year’s STAR Management Week! The STAR Management Week is one of the largest student events in the Benelux. This week-long, nationwide showcase event is considered our annual highlight and takes place in October. It is a linking pin between students, academia, and our corporate network. Being a member of the STAR Management Week Committee is not only a sensational and unique social experience, but also a perfect way to apply your knowledge and improve your skills in (non)-commercial relations, networking, marketing, budgeting, and project management. Challenge yourself! We hope to welcome you as an active member at STAR! Jasperina de Vries Chairman STAR Board 2010-2011

Role as a committee As a member of the STAR Management Week Committee you are responsible for the complete organization of this large event. Because the week offers students a broad variety of activities, being part of the committee is a truly diverse experience. Every member of the committee of course has his/her own tasks such as finding companies to participate in workshops, convincing top international leaders to speak at the Annual Management Conference, or finding spectacular locations for a party or dinner. Nevertheless, working together as a team in the promotional and operational period is also essential for a successful Management Week.
