A g r o u p c a l l e d Supplies to P o l a n d ( S T P ) was formed at I C follow i n g M r C o l i n C o o p e r ' s letter i n F E L I X G03 a p p e a l i n g for help. The S i ! g r o u p has been m e e t i n g r e g u l a r l y over the past t w o weeks a n d wilt have a large m e e t i n g today at 12:45pm i n the U n i o n D i n i n g H a l l . Their i n t e n t i o n is to collect v i t a l supplies for P o l a n d a n d transport th e m v i a sea a n d r o a d over the Easter v a c a t i o n . The g r o u p has a l r e a d y g a i n e d s u p p o r t f r o m o r g a n i s a t i o n s i n t h e B r i t i s h Isles a n d a r c p a r t i c u l a r l y pleased that the C o l l e g e is a l l o w i n g th em facilities lor a t e m p o r a r y base. The R e c t o r stressed that the C o l l e g e gave its support o n l y if it was clear that this w o u l d be a totally c h a r i t a b l e a n d n o n - p o l i t i c a l venltire. Irish stew in the name of the law Former ICU President Mr John Passmore and C&GU Vice President Mr David Foreshow appeared at Mary^ilebone Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with causing criminal damage.

M r Passmore c o m m e n t e d that he d i d not think that this was t y p i c a l b e h a v i o u r a n d later confided that he a n d M r F o r e s h a w h a d possibly h a d " o n e o r t w o over the o d d s " in a reference to their slate of i n e b r i a t i o n .
