Info & Trip Planning If you are interested in reading about the “great outdoors,” you can browse through dozens of magazines and newsletters in the ARC lounge. Planning a trip? The ARC has a variety of reference materials which can make trip planning easier. The ARC has information on areas both within and outside of Illinois. If you are unable to stop by during office hours, you can call or fill out an information request card, and we will research the areas of interest and mail you the information.

www.reccenter.siu.edu

Take the challenge by climbing the wall at the SRC. The 28-foot high indoor rock climbing wall has adjustable handholds which may be repositioned to alter the difficulty of the climb! You don’t have to be familiar with rock climbing or have your own equipment to use the Climbing Wall. All the equipment is provided. Climbing is allowed only when supervisors are present. Climbing instruction is available Monday-Thursday, 7-9:30 pm.
