Part One

This is the first part of writing in my anthology. These pieces of writing are very basic and early pieces of work. This reflects how much I have grown in writing since the beginning of the year.

Crimson tide I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Here I was cheering on crimson tide. What better ways to spend an afternoon than watching the razorbacks lose?

Lazy As a symbol, I represent laziness. Everything I do I find a way to slack off or do it half way. At home all I do is play games, eat, and sleep. I even sleep at school. Being lazy has its ups and its downs. You don’t have to get up and do stuff, but you may feel the need to use the bathroom, or get something to eat.

Fitting in People find ways to “fit in in different ways. They may join a sport, join a club, or just hang out with a certain group of people. People may also act and maybe dress different if they feel the need to.

Greek god If I had to choose a Greek god I would like to be, it would be Poseidon. I love to be in the water, and to be able to control it and the things in it, would be awesome.

Part two In this second part of my anthology, I included some of my imaginative writings. They range from half a page to a whole page. This part, I would have to say, is my favorite part of my anthology.

Sandstorm All of the sudden everything was still. No one moved. It’s like life its self-had frozen. There hasn’t been a sandstorm in years, and many people thought there never would be. When all of the sudden, people panicked. They knew something was wrong. Strong winds began to pick up and blow sand everywhere. The sand covered everything and anything In its path.

Edge In the town of edge, there lived a dragon. This wasn’t a mean or cruel dragon, but more of a happy dragon. It was a peaceful day when it all changed. The birds were chirping, not a cloud in the sky. The dragon decided to take a nap on the street. Down the road a bit, was a traveler. He was a traveling merchant, and had the biggest, heaviest cart around. The traveler had not seemed to notice the dragon further up the road, or he would have stopped. But, he didn’t. he kept on going until he ran over the dragon’s tale. The dragon roared with pain. He shot up into the sky like a rocket and let out a fiery scream. He destroyed everything in his path. That day, that sunny perfect day, turned into a nightmare.

Grumpy man Long ago, in a forest unknown to man, there was a village. In that village lived very grumpy men. The reason he was so grumpy, was because a giant called ethan. This giant loved to be annoying, and drove people crazy. One day the man got really annoyed. He grabbed a stick and beat the crap out of ethan with it. But he beat him up in a good way. He helped him up. From that day on, ethan became more and more annoying.

Train I didn’t know where the train was going. After paying my fair, I simply stood on the platform waiting for it to take me away somewhere, anywhere but here. And that’s when it happened. A gun fired from the left. I looked over to see three masked men. I knew I had to get somewhere, and quick. But where? I headed to inside the train station. I was about to open the door when I felt a gun to the back of my head. All of a sudden I felt a bag over my head. I was knocked unconscious. I woke up in a van, along with a few other men. All of the doors seemed to be sealed shut. The glass was unbreakable. I look out the window to see the masked men pouring gasoline all over the car. as I started to realize what was happening, it was too late. One of the masked men pulled out a lighter, and through it on the van. It bursted into flames. i felt the heat instantly. I had to face a simple fact that there was no way out, and I was going to be burned alive. I woke up on a bench at a train station. I was covered in sweat and extremely hot. A train pulled up and I boarded. Not many people were on the train, just a couple other men. As the train began to leave, three masked men got on the train.

Part three The last part of my anthology is a collection of writings about responsibility and logic. It represents how serious I can be.

Purpose of rules The purpose of most rules is to keep you safe and out of trouble. Following rules would decrease the chance of you getting hurt. Life without rules would be bad. People would go crazy.

Schools responsibility Schools have lots of responsibilities for there students. They must have guidelines, or a set of rules they have to follow.

Logic Reason can develop a great solution. Reason is logic, and logic is right. If you have a good logic system, you don’t need emotion. Emotion will make a solution stronger by stating how you feel.

Great impact A group of friends decided to smoke. One of the friends older brother was going to get the cigarettes for them. As they began to smoke, one friend changed his mind. He knew what smoking can do to you, and he didn’t like it. His decision not to smoke changed everyone’s mind. The threw the cigarettes away and decided to forget about it.
