Heart Attack Prevention Seminar by Ms. Ysa Lou Agawa
February is the month of hearts and RTC12 grabbed the opportunity to disseminate information regarding heart attack. Last February 19, 2016, RTC 12 conducted a Heart Attack Prevention Seminar for the Police Trainees and Personnel of Regional Training Center 12 dubbed as “Please be careful with your Heart.� Police Chief Inspector Romelo Esquer and his team gave informative facts about the heart. The Police students were enlightened with the different facts and functions of the heart and how to take care and prevent heart attack. The speakers also taught first aid and basic response. The seminar was a success, headed by Chief Planning and Research, TSII Carmelita Lu Laus and with the support of the Regional Training Director. Last February 22, 2015 the Public Safety Junior Leadership Course was declared open with 2 sections, Alpha and Bravo. 103 students from different areas of region 12 were enrolled at the said program. The ceremony was headed by Police Superintendent Mario Cacho Cortes, the Regional Training Director of Regional Training Center 12. The Regional Training Director gave a witty but meaningful message. During the conduct of the program, he reminded the Police students of the standards and responsibilities of being a police officer even in the premises of the training center and as a leader and member of the society. He stressed the importance of giving back in the community and even in the Training Center.
