House Re.Public Midtown Hybrid Redevelopement
The downtown area of Tainan City has long been dominated by the train station, major businesses, and government offices. This longstanding occupation has posed a challenge in the automatic renewal of the area over time. Consequently, the district has evolved into a hub for immigrant workers, low-income families, and tourists, rendering it outdated and disconnected from the surrounding regions. However, the upcoming introduction of a new MRT and underground railway system provides an opportunity to breathe new life into the downtown area, bridging the gap between the front and back stations.

Transformiation of social structure and space demand
As society evolves, the term "Nuclear Family" becomes outdated for today's diverse family structures. The concept of the "social family," including friends, caregivers, and even pets, is emerging in contemporary society.

Waterfront City Redesign of River Bank Against Sea-level Rise
As an islander, the history and culture of ours are deeply related to water. However, with the development of urbanism, people lost contact with surrounding nature.Nonetheless, he situation has changed due to the rise of sea level. In no more than 50 years, Taipei, the economic and political capital of Taiwan will be in danger of flood. We proposed a new kind of border that is not for segregation, between human and nature, but for the residents to coexist with the rising water. We created a skywalk linking the second floor of the original houses and infrastructure like MRT vandict. Ground floor can thus be left for nature reservation. Now we tried to convert the fear of losing land into a chance to build up a new lifestyle that we can prosperous along with the nature.

As the main river of Taipei city, Tamsui River has connected series of important district. However, the nearby area is also the most vulnerable to the flood. By analyzing the nearby area according to social vulnerability and geographical figure, we targeted on four urgent aspect when confronting sea-level rise: economy, society, transportation, restore & reuse.

The project will only be done partly by the architecs and goverment . After the main structure and frame are finish, the citizens will be the one who furnish and maintain. By combining the construction and environment education into urban life, we hope the project can bridge the gap between human and nature.

CI T Y MEDIATOR Community Learning Center Architecture is delicately composed in response to city and program. In this project, I tried to build a architecture that is a mediator between city and its inhabitants. At road side,it suit itself with the prosperous tourism of downtown Tainan; and on the other, it is a community library and classroom that means to gather surrounding neighborhood, encouraging the senior to walk out of their houses. By introduce park-like spaces in between the hustle and bustle of the city, the project aimed to strike a balance between urbanism and humanistic life.

In comparison to some of the well planed city, Tianan's street experience is composed by series of unexpected scene. Streets and alleys was woven into the living experience. With the cosistency in architecture's configuration and the city's, it would extend street's walking experience into the community center. It would grow to be a note in people's casual route that offered a space for everyone to have a deep breath of knowledge and green.

For most of the the facility, opening hours is only about half of the time of a day. However,
most senior come exercising in the morning and many restaurants serve until late night. Therefore the semi-outdoor spaces that can be use without access control is one of the main feature that I want highlight in this design.

The east side was mostly leave for public to use. It reinterpret the daily image one can capture in Taiwan streets and alleys. The senior begin their day through morning exercise, with greeting from neighbor along the way. I can image how people soak themselve in the deep shadow in the magical silience of summer, shaded away from the fierce sunshine. This is in which project that I want to experiment with the possibility of flexibility and ambiguity usage of space.

Multi-Contact Branding+hotel+coworking space The project seats on an important city pass from downtown to the new evolving tourist distrct. The old blocks will renewed to be a a compact building accomodating the headquater of a local fashion brand, an hotel, a tourist center and a coworking space. The main concept of this design is to showcase the complexity of the menifesting process of fashion industries from material innovation to tailoring to the passersby.

Living in the collective dendrograms
Houses in modern society are deeply bounded with each other. Even the smallest change of individual can result in a gigantic storm. We imaged a house that can be shaped to servered different body movement. So the movement transferred from human to the architecture then to its surroundings, composing an endless chains. That is how we defin a storm: series of action and reaction which can not be stop once launched. Therefore, we no longer consider a house in the city as an individual but instead, an interconnected system in which each particles serves as both the subject and object of changes. There is no fixed boundaries and no form, when we speak about a storm. It's a turbulence that would transform and rearrange in reaction against changes.

Curation
Overture | 序曲 Curation& Visual design We thought of architect as those who turn imagination of life into reality. The exibitors range from freshmen to MRII students. Over 300 work were tranported from our campus to these semi-outdoor venue. By models, drawing and delicately designed showcase, we present to the public the unlimited possibility of architecture. The curation team is made up of a group of second grader volunteers managing all schedule, funds, human source and etc. It's my honor to be entrust with visual director. The precious experience broaden my horizon from being a designer to being a manager. Be creative and dig into every possibility, which not only the propaganda, but also how we work through as a team. *This is a satellite exhibition of Tainan Architecture Triennial. I am consistently drawn to the allure of daily scenes, where architecture begins to acquire its meanings. Gradually, I acknowledge that architects, transcending the role of mere builders, bear the honor and duty of infusing unforeseen possibilities into the tapestry of people’s lives. They shape the future — a continuous narrative that seamlessly extends from the present moment.
