They do not know how to communicate their symptoms to doctors because of lack of knowledge and shame surrounding menstruation.
In order to narrow the focus of the project, the researcher picked the target user that would have the highest impact from this service. A majority of the 1.3 billion people in India are poor and this is evidenced by the fact that 10% of the Indian population holds 77% of the total national wealth. (Oxfam n.d.)
