With the circulation surrounded the building, it creates a sense of welcoming as the entrance is clear and unobstructed to invite user or passerby to come in. T his circulation prepares the people for the transition from one space to the other one by taking into account the sequence of spaces and atmosphere encountered through movement. The courtyard acts as the center point and gateway to the building. This plan creates an enclosed public circulation space which create a safe atmosphere. By placing the node in the middle, the plan creates an focal point draws the visual and physical link between the buildings. T he courtyard has a connective function which makes movement through spaces between the building are easily accessible.

With building frontage onto Govan’s main street, it creates a direct route to enter the building. With pedestrian lanes surrounding the building and wide access to green space, the building can be easily approach.

The building spaces wrap around four sides of a large courtyard to call an internal circulation. Fitness area, cafe area and gallery area look inward to the central quad which ensure a constant visual between interior and the courtyard. Cafe area is lined with glass pivot doors which allow the flexibility to open up to the landscaped courtyard eliminating the boundry between inside and out. out

This project used a combination of light grey concrete, reglit glass and dark grey brick to construct the building, which is set into a landcape park. The building blends in as one moves through the landscape to enter the building and enter the planted couryard via the building.
