"Stampost" is a design project with the combination of local culture and social connection in Hong Kong. Designers aim aim to use a different interactive method to promote Hong Kong tradition to the local people and even tourist.
We collect the old life and hidden stories from different communities, and turned into secret maps and stamps. Participants can have a new experience to explore the hidden side of the city, not just the words from the history book but in a stamp tour and map. Every stamp design have their own story behind. In the process of stamping the postcard or map, they will understand more about the old Hong Kong. Using their own creativity, rebuild their own impression of the community.
Stamp Map Design - There are 10 old communities have been recorded as a illustrations in total with more than 50 stamp designs in a set.
The Map can be fold into a traditional paper toy, East South West North.

- The Crying Tree
Incense trees, is one of the Hong Kong native species, and it was related to the origin of the name of Hong Kong. With the aroma, the resin can be made medicinal which sold in high price, so it often being felled illegally . Since a large incision was being cut closely the root on the tree trunk, a cage was made by the Government to protect and support the structure of this tree.
