Be security savvy With more bikes around there has been an increase in bike thefts. By following these 5 steps you can help reduce the chance of your bike being stolen. 1. Lock it before you leave it It only takes seconds for a thief to disappear with an unlocked bike.

If the worst should happen Remember to report a stolen bike to the police and campus staff immediately.
3. Use designated cycle parking where possible It’s designed with helping to keep your bike safe in mind. 4. Lock it all Frame and wheels, to the bike rack. Anything you can’t lock, such as lights,take with you.
