Q Where are the medals manufactured? A All our bespoke medals are manufactured in our partner factories in China, for the very best quality at effectively wholesale prices.

Q If I only have a rough sketch of my medal design, is that alright? A Yes. Simply send us your guidelines with any logos (if any) you want incorporating and we will design the medal for you FREE of Charge!

Q How do I work out my medal price? A All prices shown are based on circular 3mm thick medals. For example, if your design is 50mm in diameter look in the 50mm column prices etc.

Q How long will you need to produce my medals? A Once you have approved and ‘signed-off’ your medal artwork, if we use sea freight to transport your medals from China to the UK (the most economical), it will take up to 12 weeks, although depending on the time of year, this can be expedited. Q I have heard that the medals can be produced and delivered in only 3-4 weeks, is that correct? A Yes, they can. Once you have ‘signed-off’ the artwork and approved your design it can take only 3-4 weeks to produce and deliver your medals if we use air freight. Q Is there a surcharge for the medals to be flown in? A Yes there is a small surcharge which depends on the size of medals and quantity. We will give you an exact quotation at the time of ordering if you require this express delivery service. Q Does the 6 or 12 week production lead time include delivery to me? A Yes. Q What if I receive more entries than anticipated, can I order a ‘last minute top-up’ to my medal order? A Yes. We can produce a ‘top-up’ to your order within a lead time of 2-3 weeks.

Q I understand that you have different background stipple effects that I can incorporate into my design? A Yes. We have a variety of background stipple effects that can be incorporated into your design (see page 7). Simply quote the stipple effect number(s) or contact us for a FREE sample. Q How long will it take for me to receive artwork back from you for approval? A Normally within 4 to 5 working days. Q When I have received my medal design back for approval, what if I require changes? A No problem, we will amend your design until you are completely happy with it! Q Will there be any charge for these amendments? A We offer up to 3 opportunities for unlimited amendments at no additional cost, any thereafter may incur a design surcharge of £50.

Medal Finishes Q Can I mix the medal finish colours within my order (eg. Antique Gold, Silver, Bronze etc)? A Yes. Q Will there be any extra charge for this? A No. Q What Medal Finishes are available? A We have a variety of medal finishes to choose from. See page 5 or contact us for a FREE swatch of sample finishes.

Q How can I work out the price if my medals are not circular? A Simply send us a diagram showing us the shape and size of your required medal and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours. Q Can medals be thicker than 3mm? A Yes. We can produce medals in any thickness up to 20mm thick (see page 6). Q How will this affect my price? A Please contact us with your specific requirements and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours.

Die Charges Q How many dies I will be charged for? A You will only be charged a die for each side that has a design. Q What if exactly the same design is on both sides of the medal? A You will be charged for 2 dies. Q What if my design has ‘cut-outs’? A You will only be charged for one die if the reverse of your medal is plain.

Bespoke Bespoke Wooden Medals Disclaimer Please Note • A small minority of medals may have imperfections in the wood such as knots. • If excessive pressure is applied to the wood or to the ribbon clip, this may cause the medal and ribbon hole to snap. • The design clarity and etching tone may differ from each medal. • The edges of the medal should not have any splinters or create any, however, a splinter may be present in very few cases. • After laser engraving has been completed, a burnt odour will be present; this will remain on the finished product. • In some cases, a small amount of scratching may appear where a clip-on ribbon has been attached.

Bespoke Tagged Medals Bespoke Tagged Medals We introduced bespoke ‘tagged’ medals for White Star Running when they required a main medal that allowed a different ‘mini medal’ to be hung or tagged from it.

With the Cider Frolic (see bottom right), the event consisted of running solo or in teams of 2, 3 or 4 as many laps of the course as possible within the 12 hours’ time limit. Finishers were then presented with a main medal and the corresponding mini medal tagged underneath. In the case of the Dog Jog medals below organised by Virtual Runner UK, these are monthly challenges held during February, March, April and May where entrants can run or walk with their dog and receive a different breed of dog medal on a ribbon each month as a reward which can then be tagged together if required (see below).
